Chapter 131: Hell Upon Hell
Chapter 131: Chapter 131: Hell Upon Hell
Damon moved slowly through the air, the same way a predator watches its prey before deciding whether it is worth killing. "I will only give you one last chance," he continued, his tone losing all amusement. "Listen to my demands, apologize to me for all of this, and keep your devils away from my territory... or I will reduce this entire city down to its last atom."
But, unfortunately for them, demonic pride had always been stronger than reason. There was a reason they had done all the evil they had done for centuries. Upon hearing the god’s words, the devils in the stands, who had previously been paralyzed by fear, began to clench their fists, their auras rising one after another.
"Who the hell does this shitty god think he is!?"
"He’s surrounded by all of us!"
"Kill him!"
"Fuck him!"
"Damn Greeks, go have your orgies, the fuck!"
The boos and curses began to rise throughout the entire stadium. Thousands of devils looked at Damon with anger, unable to stand the idea of someone threatening the capital of the demonic faction in front of everyone. To them, numbers mattered. The city was full of nobles, soldiers, Rating Game champions, and Maou. A single god could not stand against the entire Underworld.
At least that was what everyone thought.
The next second, demonic power exploded around the bald Maou. Falbium disappeared from his place with a speed impossible for most of those present, appearing above Damon with his fist wrapped in demonic energy as he launched a direct punch toward his head.
Damon, already prepared because of the boos and the auras rising throughout the stadium, saw the devil approaching as if he were moving in slow motion. He barely tilted his body and dodged the blow. Falbium’s fist cut through the air beside him, causing a sonic boom that swept across the sky over the arena. The redhead twisted his torso in the same motion and responded with a clean punch against the Maou’s chest, but, to his surprise, his fist collided with something invisible.
A translucent barrier appeared around Falbium, formed by several layers of compressed demonic power. Damon’s impact dispersed across the surface. The Maou barely moved back a few centimeters, and Damon raised an eyebrow with a small spark of interest in his eyes. "Well," he said, a little impressed. "That really is a good defense."
Falbium smiled arrogantly, regaining a little confidence after seeing that his barrier had endured the blow. But that confidence did not last too long. "Let’s see if it can withstand this," Damon said, closing his fist again as he covered it with divine power. Falbium’s eyes widened as he felt the difference, but it was already too late. A devastating blow crashed against the Maou’s defenses.
The barrier creaked like glass under pressure as it cracked from the point of impact. Falbium was sent flying downward, crashing against one of the stadium’s inner walls before sinking into the ground and raising a cloud of dust. A second later, a roar of fury spread from the stands. Several devils, unable to bear seeing another Maou being treated that way, quickly rose into the air and launched attacks toward Damon from different sections of the stadium. Spears of demonic power and bursts of fire shot up toward the sky, mixing with curses and roars of rage.
Damon, seeing that, simply extended his hand. His fingers opened outward, and a dome of compressed air covered him instantly, deflecting the first attacks before they could touch him. Above the stadium, dark clouds began to form, surprising several devils, since clouds were something nonexistent in the Underworld. In a matter of seconds, they began to spin above the arena like a dark whirlpool, and several bolts of lightning descended from them. Each one was charged with Damon’s power, falling toward the devils with terrifying precision and pulverizing several of the attackers before they could react.
Ajuka moved in that same instant. Seeing how more lightning descended toward the stands, the green-haired Maou entered his true form, and an enormous demonic aura spread across the field. "GRRRRHHHH" A gigantic formula appeared in front of him, its green lines extending through the air like living circuits. Hundreds of symbols unfolded between the lightning bolts and the stands, rewriting the structure of the attack mid-descent. Several bolts changed direction, being diverted away from the devils, while others were redirected toward Damon himself.
The lightning bolts that returned toward the god disappeared before touching him, erased with a simple thought. Even so, Damon looked at the green-haired devil with a smile. "Of all the devils, apart from the originals, you have to be the most interesting I’ve seen. I’ve never seen anyone do what you just did." His blue eyes narrowed slightly. "Most devils have abilities given by Lucifer and Lilith to certain people, abilities that were eventually inherited by their descendants. Without a doubt, it is a very good ability, boy. You created this, didn’t you?"
Ajuka did not answer him. He only clenched his teeth, hating the way the Greek god treated him like a child who had just shown a good trick.
Damon was not bothered by the lack of response. He simply looked back at the rest of the stadium, quickly losing interest in the green-haired man. Grayfia, who had been observing closely while trying to protect Sirzechs, Venelana, and Zeoticus from the collateral damage caused by Damon, decided to act. The Lucifuge attacked together with Serafall, the ice extending from the feet of the Maou Leviathan up to the sky in the form of enormous frozen spears, while the air around Damon began to freeze under the effect of Celsius Cross Trigger.
Diehauser, seeing this, took advantage of the opportunity and launched himself forward while preparing Worthless, seeking to understand the nature of Damon’s power in order to render useless any defense he could find. Roygun Belphegor followed him an instant later, both using their known abilities to try to create an opening in the redhead’s defenses. Ajuka, for his part, prepared to rewrite any counterattack Damon might pull out of his sleeve.
Damon, far from feeling pressured, became a little excited when he saw how they cooperated with one another to try to bring him down. His body was covered by his power, going through a small metamorphosis as his skin changed to a more purple tone and black marks spread across his torso, arms, and neck. The upper part of his clothing disintegrated under the pressure, revealing the dark marks that covered his body, while an absurd presence fell over the entire city of Lilith and spread through a large part of the Underworld. Behind him, several black spheres appeared, floating at his back as Damon fully entered his sage mode.
The weakest devils fainted instantly, unable to withstand the redhead’s aura. Others simply ran away, pushing each other in the stands while trying to get away from the stadium. Ajuka felt his throat go dry as he perceived the magnitude of that power. Without a doubt, this guy has to be easily among the five strongest existences, thought the green-haired Maou just before time seemed to resume.
Then a shockwave burst out of Damon’s body. Everything around the god was sent flying. Diehauser and Roygun lost their stability; both cursed while their nobles tried to cover them from behind, being completely neutralized by the atmospheric pressure released by the Greek god. It was obvious that, unless you had great power to withstand that energy, it was better to stay away from the fight. Many learned the hard way, feeling as if their heads were about to explode. Even those who tried to seek refuge outside the stadium were caught in the hurricane of wind that wrapped around the city of Lilith.
Diehauser clenched his teeth, trying to activate Worthless again to get out of his trouble, while Roygun also tried to defend herself. But before either of them could stabilize, Damon disappeared from the sky at a dizzying speed.
The acclaimed Emperor barely managed to open his eyes before Damon’s fist sank into his abdomen. Diehauser’s body folded around the blow, blood coming out of his mouth as the air left his lungs. Damon did not let him fly away. He grabbed him firmly by the hair and slammed him into the ground several times, with such force that the arena took the shape of his body. The earth was stained by the mouthfuls of blood that escaped from his mouth every time the impact crushed him against the field.
"Diehauser!" Roygun shouted, trying to retreat while opening several cracks with Crack between herself and the redhead.
Damon crossed the fractures as if they were nothing, his body covered in destructive power. One of the cracks managed to graze his arm, but the purple skin covered with black marks did not even bleed. Roygun felt terror rise in her throat just before Damon appeared one step away from her and gave her a tremendous slap across the face. The blow sent her flying to the side, spinning against the ground before crashing near her own peerage, which quickly tried to help her.
Diehauser tried to get up, but Damon had no plans to allow it. In an instant, he appeared at his side and stepped on his back, forcing him down into the ground again. "Where do you think you’re going?" asked the Greek god, amused.
Before the peerages of both could try anything to defend Belial or Roygun, reddish chains emerged from the air and closed around their necks, wrists, and torsos. The devils screamed, some trying to free themselves with demonic power, but the chains only tightened with more force.
Damon raised his hand. Diehauser, Roygun, and their nobles were lifted from the ground at the same time, suspended in the air as if they were nothing. "Wait... don’t do it," some of them begged, but Damon did not show even a shred of compassion. He simply lowered his hand without ceremony.
All of them were brutally slammed into the field. The impact shook the entire stadium, raising dust, broken stone, and cries of pain. Several lost consciousness instantly. Then, with a sharp movement of the god’s hand, the chains tightened again and dragged them across the ground with savage force before launching them toward a destroyed section of the stadium, where they were buried beneath a pile of rocks and debris.
Damon did not even look at them a second time. "Better luck next time, kids," said the god, after crushing two of the most famous devils in the Underworld as if they were nothing.
"Dayuummm! Did you see that?" shouted one of the Demons Net commentators, his voice trembling while the broadcast remained active. "Ladies and gentlemen!!!, we are witnessing one of the most bizarre events in the recent history of the Underworld. We don’t know who this new existence is, but his power is clear to everyone. Did the Greek pantheon have someone like this hidden from all of us this entire time?"
"Hold on!!!! Look!! It’s Falbium-samaa!" the other commentator suddenly shouted.
From the cloud of dust covering one of the stadium’s inner walls, Falbium walked out with difficulty. A line of blood ran down from the corner of his lips, but his defense had already regenerated completely. His gaze was fixed on Damon with anger. "You fucking son of a bitch," Falbium muttered, wiping the blood with the back of his hand. Ready to jump back in....
Meanwhile, Zekram Bael, who all this time had remained hidden like a rat alongside several older devils, cursed under his breath at his bad luck.
"Idiots. If they had informed me of the situation before all of this, maybe we would not be like this. Damn youngsters and their delusions."
Several old devils had already abandoned their seats with their tails between their legs, disappearing behind magic circles or fleeing toward the stadium’s private corridors. They had recognized Damon, and none of them intended to die for the pride of others.
"Get out of here," Zekram ordered his people without looking back. "If these idiots want to die for pride, let them do it alone."
One of the devils beside him swallowed. "But, Zekram-sama... what about you?"
Zekram looked toward the field, clenching his fist. "Someone has to stay and protect the people," answered the Great King.
His followers did not even try to argue about the fact that he had been hiding the entire time. They simply nodded rapidly and went their own ways with their tails between their legs.
Zekram looked back toward Damon, clenching his teeth.
"Damn it."

I gotta say this is the last time I am doing a story that has a character with multiple domains. Next time, if MC is the god of fucking sleep imma make him the best sleep god with abilities related to sleep. Tell me if I am wrong, but I feel like it would be better in terms of development and fighting cause fck this sht of doing multiple domains just makes it harder tbh.
Anyway, I will post a bonus Chapter in a bit.
