Percy Jackson: The Firstborn

Chapter 132: Bonus - 132: Well Shit

Chapter 132: Bonus Chapter 132: Well Shit

While Zekram was having a mental breakdown, Damon was already sensing the numerous presences fading toward the city, and smiled internally. Twenty clones shot out silently from his position.

"Damon, let us out to fight, damn it!" a tanuki shouted.

"Don’t worry, Shukaku. I have something for you all," the god replied.

That was the last thing he said before the crowd barely had time to react. Nine completely different presences emerged from several of the clones. Ancient roars were heard throughout the city of Lilith, shaking buildings, streets, and barriers. In a matter of seconds, enormous masses of chakra took shape between the avenues, over the rooftops, and around the stadium. The devils who had tried to flee toward the city stopped dead when they saw those gigantic beasts appear in front of them.

"What the hell are those things?" shouted a devil soldier, stepping back with a pale face.

An entire legion teleported in front of one of the main avenues, forming defensive lines with barriers and spears of demonic power. They did not manage to hold the formation for even ten seconds. A massive tail swept across the street and launched dozens of them into the nearby buildings. In another sector, a group of nobles tried to raise a joint magic circle, but Matatabi passed through them like a living blue flame, forcing them to scatter before they could finish the spell.

Kurama smiled with all his teeth while a mass of chakra accumulated in front of his mouth. "HAHAHAHA, and these are the devils who think so highly of themselves?"

The chakra sphere shot toward a line of devils who had teleported to face the bijuus. The impact caused an explosion of light and dust, killing dozens and sending dozens more rolling across the ground. Shukaku, not too far away, was releasing maniacal screams while tons of sand buried the devils who appeared in front of him. "Don’t get excited, you mangy fox! I can crush insects too, hmp!"

"You talk too much," Gyuki growled, striking the ground with one of his tails and splitting the street beneath the feet of another formation. "Just do what needs to be done," the octopus growled.

Son Goku let out a rough laugh while throwing balls of lava everywhere. "For once, I agree with the octopus. You two have already gotten me tired with your disputes."

The Demons Net broadcasts began splitting into several screens, showing different areas of Lilith being attacked at the same time. In one, a bijuu destroyed a military formation. In another, an entire avenue was covered in sand. In another, blue flames ran between buildings while devils fled in every direction.

"We don’t know what we are seeing!" one of the commentators shouted, almost losing his voice. "Giant masses of chakra have appeared all over the city! Do they seem to be yokai?? Is the Yokai faction involved in some way? No, wait, we have never seen yokai like these! They are gigantic beasts, completely unknown!"

"The city of Lilith is turning into a battlefield!" the other commentator shouted. "The legions are trying to contain them, but they can’t get close!"

The roars shook the city again. The devils kept arriving in masses, trying to surround the beasts with numbers and coordinated attacks. But every time they tried, they were easily crushed by the overwhelming power of the beasts.

From the center of the stadium, Ajuka watched everything that was happening with wide eyes. His mind tried to create contingency plans, but each one went down the drain the moment Damon’s factor entered the equation. His thoughts were interrupted by Serafall’s desperate voice. "Ajuka, what the hell are we going to do?" Serafall asked, shaken.

"I don’t know," Ajuka replied through gritted teeth. "I honestly don’t know," the devil murmured. Never in his life had he felt so overwhelmed by a situation.

Damon smiled as he felt the emotions of desperation coming from the devils. "What’s wrong, guys? Don’t you like my pets? They’re cute, aren’t they? Are you not enjoying the moment? HAHAHAHA."

Falbium clenched his teeth. "This isn’t fair. You’re a god and we’re not." His gaze moved toward the city, where the chaos continued spreading. "All our people..."

Damon burst into laughter. "HAHAHAHA, seriously, that’s your excuse? You are the leaders of the Underworld. Aren’t you supposed to be stronger than the original Maou? Stronger than gods? Or was all of that a lie?"

The god slowly descended toward Falbium, with his black spheres spinning behind him while he watched the chaos spreading through the city. "Stand up and come stop me," Damon said, his smile becoming wilder. "Or I will destroy everything and all your people."

Falbium raised his gaze toward Damon with fury and did not try to argue. And so, releasing a war cry, "HIAAAA!" the Maou shot upward with a roar, all his defensive power concentrated at the front.

At the same time, Ajuka moved his fingers, and his Kankara Formula went into action, trying to reinforce Falbium’s defense. But Damon had no intention of standing there waiting for another attack or continuing the same game.

The redhead simply raised his hand, and a brutal atmospheric pressure fell from above, crushing Falbium against the ground before he could even think of a counterattack. The Maou tried to resist the impact with his absolute defense, but Damon had no plan to leave it at that. He raised a finger and pointed toward the bald man. A black sphere formed in front of him and shot out at high speed, crashing into Falbium in a concentrated explosion that made the Maou’s screams echo throughout the entire stadium.

Grayfia tried to take advantage of that instant to sneak behind Damon, but the god had already seen it coming. He turned his wrist, and the wind around him became a savage current that trapped her before she could get close. Ajuka tried to intervene and redirect the current, but Damon responded with a simple thought. Two of his gudodamas shot toward the green-haired man’s position, forcing him to lose concentration and move at high speed to dodge them. Ajuka had no idea what those spheres were capable of, but if they came from Damon, he was not going to touch them without understanding them first.

Grayfia, despite all her efforts, was dragged by the wind and sent flying against several inner walls of the stadium, breaking through them one after another before disappearing among dust and broken stone.

"Grayfia!" Serafall shouted, her eyes widening with fury.

Quickly, the Maou Leviathan raised both hands, and the Celsius Cross Trigger exploded together with her demonic power. Instantly, a freezing air spread everywhere while columns of ice rose around the redhead, trying to crucify him right there.

Damon, seeing that, extended both hands to each side. A destructive dome covered him instantly, and Serafall’s attacks disappeared the moment they made contact, as if they were nothing more than frost touching a flame. The god gave the woman credit. She was strong and had one of the best controls over ice he had seen, but even so, against superior powers, her magic was inefficient no matter how much she tried.

Serafall clenched her teeth and increased her power, launching more attacks without stopping. But the redhead responded immediately, raising both hands while enormous blasts of white fire came out from his palms and countered Serafall’s attacks.

Serafall’s purple eyes opened in surprise when she saw Damon’s absurd control over the flames and the heat they released. It made her wonder what else this guy knew how to do. But before she could think too much, Damon appeared in front of her, with two fingers pressed against her forehead.

"Better luck next time, women." With those simple words and that touch, the moon mark shone in Damon’s palm, and Serafall collapsed to the ground, trapped in a powerful illusion before she could react.

Ajuka, seeing that, opened his eyes and quickly shouted, "What the hell did you do to her?" Damon did not even bother to give the Maou a second look. "Nothing important," the redhead replied, turning toward the green-haired man. "I’m just taking the trash out of the way."

Ajuka clenched his teeth and, losing his calm, launched himself forward, using his formula to break through the atmospheric pressure. His green symbols shone around Damon, trying to trap him and cut off his movement routes, but Damon was not a god for nothing. With a simple overwhelming increase of his power, Ajuka’s body froze in the air from the pure difference between their levels, his formulas trembling around him before breaking one after another. "How the hell are you so strong?" the Maou managed to say, trembling.

"You know a lot, boy, but at the same time, you know nothing," was Damon’s only response before moving in front of the green-haired Maou. With a simple touch to the chest, he knocked all the air from his lungs. Ajuka was sent flying backward, spitting blood before crashing into the field.

Even so, Ajuka tried to get up immediately, trembling and taking large gasps of air. Damon appeared beside him and placed his foot on the green-haired man’s back, pressing him into the ground. "You’re smart; I’ll give you that," the god said. "Too bad you ended up on the wrong side."

That was the last thing Ajuka heard before losing consciousness.

Without giving him another look, the redhead took flight and looked around, scanning the air. Besides the bijuus causing havoc throughout the city, he could see the Demons Net cameras still floating at a distance. The commentators were pale, looking at him with fear while the broadcast remained active. Damon fixed his gaze on one of the cameras and smiled. "I hope you enjoyed the show. This was only a demonstration of what will happen if you dare to interfere with the interests of my faction."

Just like that, the redhead continued moving through the air until he approached Venelana and Zeoticus, who were farther away beside Sirzechs. Seeing Damon approach, a primitive fear invaded the two devils. Zeoticus, even with his legs trembling, stood in front of Venelana and Sirzechs. "I won’t let you hurt my family," he shouted, trying to sound firm, though his body would not stop betraying him.

Damon looked at him with amusement. He did not even try to start a fight. He barely raised a finger, and instantly Zeoticus’s feet separated from the ground while the air around him closed into an invisible dome. He opened his mouth, but no sound came out, all of it happening in front of Venelana’s terrified eyes.

Zeoticus kicked the air, his face reddening while his fingers scratched at his own neck, making useless strides until he finally lost consciousness. Damon moved his hand to the side and sent him flying away, slamming him into the ground without bothering to look at him again.

"Useless trash," was the only thing the god said before his eyes returned to Venelana and Sirzechs. "Now," Damon said, slowly descending in front of them. "What should I do with you two?"

Venelana hugged Sirzechs tighter, trying to cover him with her own body. "P-Please," she begged, her voice trembling. "Don’t kill my son."

Damon raised an eyebrow. In truth, he had not come with the intention of killing Sirzechs, but he decided to play along with the woman. "And what do I gain from that? Your son is very annoying..."

"I’ll pay you," Venelana replied quickly, almost desperately. "Anything you want. Money, resources, favors from the Gremory House. Whatever is necessary."

Damon scanned her in silence for a second. "Fine. I suppose I can listen to you, but that does not change one fact: you do not make decisions in the Underworld. Your leaders have been defeated. Why should I believe you?"

"I can help her with that." An old and slightly trembling voice was heard from the side. Damon slowly turned his head. "Who the hell are you?"

"My name is Zekram Bael," the Great King replied, bowing carefully. "I am at your service, Damon-sama."

Gremory Territory

In one of the Gremory House residences, Rias Gremory, around fifteen or sixteen years old, was with her small peerage, currently protected by several members of her brother’s peerage. Millicas Gremory was also there, sitting close to Rias while trying to stay calm. The strong winds struck the windows without rest, and the enormous presences spreading through the Underworld made it difficult for anyone in the room to breathe normally.

"Rias, what do you think is happening?" Akeno asked, looking out the window with worry. "This has never happened before in the Underworld."

"Don’t worry, Akeno," Rias replied, trying to maintain her composure in front of her peerage. "I’m sure my brother will protect us. We only have to stay calm."

Millicas looked up at her, gripping the edge of his clothes with small hands. "Aunt Rias... where are Father and Mother?"

Rias’ heart sank, but she forced a smile. "They’re strong, Millicas. They’ll be fine."

At the side, a small white-haired girl now known as Koneko remained trembling in silence. Her ears were not visible, but her Nekoshou instincts were screaming so loudly that she could barely breathe. "It’s senjutsu," she murmured quietly.

Rias turned her head toward her. "What did you say, Koneko?"

Koneko swallowed, clenching her fists over her skirt. "I said it’s senjutsu, Rias-sama. I know because of my sister... but this is much stronger. I’ve never felt anything like this."

Rias and Akeno did not know what to say. Silence fell over the room while uncertainty invaded Rias. The redhead looked toward the window, feeling the winds continue to strike the residence.

Brother... where are you? she wondered, unable to hide her concern; little did Rias know that her brother was already more dead than alive.
