Peerless Medical Emperor

Chapter 372: A New Assassination Plan

  • Next Chapter

In a secluded cabin, the remaining leaders of the Black Knight Assassin Organization were plotting their next move.

They had already learned of the deaths of the Purple-Winged Celestial King and all his subordinates, and they were deeply worried about this formidable enemy.

“Brothers, you all know the situation. We’ve lost many members, and the Purple-Winged Celestial King’s death is a massive blow to us.”

One of the leaders, Jason, raised a glass of wine, his expression grim. “But,” he said, “that bounty is still on the table. Eight million US dollars is no small sum. We can’t just give up on it.”

His gaze swept over everyone present, and all he saw were faces filled with the same greed and desire.

They were all assassins. To them, their lives were no longer their own, but pawns for money and power.

“So, I have an idea,” another leader, Allen, spoke up. “Why don’t we try bribing one of Chen Qingdi’s subordinates? We send him a sum of money and have him drug Chen Qingdi’s coffee. That way, Chen Qingdi will die without anyone knowing, and we can collect the bounty.”

Hearing this idea, the other leaders began to discuss it amongst themselves.

Some questioned the plan’s feasibility, but more people approved. In their eyes, as long as there was a chance to get that enormous bounty, any method was worth a try.

“Good idea!” one leader shouted. “Let’s do it!”

Everyone chimed in, sinister smiles appearing on their faces.

They knew the plan was risky, but if it succeeded, it would solve all their current problems.

“But we need to be careful,” Jason warned. “Chen Qingdi is not so easily fooled. We must ensure the plan is foolproof.”

Everyone nodded in agreement and began to meticulously discuss the specific details of the plan.

Everyone seemed extremely excited, their eyes glinting with greed and fanaticism. And in their conversation, some secrets about the Black Knight Assassin Organization were revealed.

The organization was not a monolith; there were conflicts and disputes among them.

But when faced with an enormous bounty, they could always temporarily set aside their differences and unite towards a common goal.

Night fell, but the lights in the small cabin remained on. The leaders were still meticulously discussing their plan, their faces etched with determination and conviction.

They knew that if they succeeded, they could change their destinies and become unimaginably wealthy.

Meanwhile, in the outside world, Chen Qingdi was going about his life.

He had no idea that a group of greedy assassins was plotting his death.

And when death truly came for him, would he even see it coming? That remained to be seen.

Back in the cabin, the leaders continued their discussion.

Their voices grew louder, the atmosphere more feverish.

In this dim corner, they were weaving a deadly conspiracy, and the target of this conspiracy was none other than Chen Qingdi, a man hailed as the most powerful being on Medical God Island.

“Brothers, I’ve already contacted that financial conglomerate,” Jason spoke again. “As long as we can successfully complete the mission, they will pay the bounty immediately.”

Hearing this, the others grew even more excited.

They knew this was their chance, and also their gamble. If they succeeded, they would gain freedom and wealth; if they failed, they would likely lose everything.

“Alright! Let’s get started!” Allen shouted.

On a quiet night, stars twinkled and moonlight spilled across the shimmering sea.

Liu Fangfang, one of Chen Qingdi’s personal secretaries, secretly slipped away from Medical God Island. Her destination was a remote hotel.

She rode a motorcycle, speeding to her destination.

A masked person dressed in black was already waiting for her in a corner of the hotel. When he saw Liu Fangfang, he took out a check for fifty thousand US dollars and placed it in front of her.

“This is the deposit,” the man in black said in a low voice.

“As long as you help us take out your boss, Mingyue Group Chairman Chen Qingdi, we’ll give you another one hundred fifty thousand US dollars. Then, you’ll be free to leave and do whatever you want.”

Liu Fangfang hesitated. She knew Chen Qingdi wasn’t just her boss; he was also her friend. But the man in black’s threat terrified her.

“You have only three days,” the man in black said coldly.

“If you don’t accept, or if you try any tricks, you won’t be able to escape the Black Knight Assassin Group’s pursuit. This chairman is a tough target, but killing an ordinary little secretary like you would be far too easy.”

A chill ran down Liu Fangfang’s spine, and sweat soaked through her clothes. She knew she had been backed into an inescapable corner.

“I… I accept,” Liu Fangfang said, her voice trembling. “But I need some time to plan.”

“Fine,” the man in black nodded. “I’ll contact you again in three days. If you can’t complete the mission on time, your only way out is death.”

With that, the man in black vanished into the darkness. Liu Fangfang watched him disappear, her heart filled with fear and unease.

She knew she had started down a road of no return.

For the next three days, Liu Fangfang was a nervous wreck. She constantly mulled over how to complete the mission without harming Chen Qingdi.

At the same time, she began to realize just how dangerous this mission was. She knew that one wrong step would lead to her utter damnation.

「Three days later.」 The man in black appeared before Liu Fangfang again.

He presented a detailed plan, telling Liu Fangfang what time and place to take action.

Liu Fangfang looked at the plan, her anxiety growing. She knew this plan was not only dangerous but also had an extremely low chance of success.

But she had no way out.

“Remember,” the man in black warned.

“If you fail, or try any tricks, you will not escape the Black Knight Assassin Group’s pursuit. You have only three days. Make them count.”

With that, the man in black vanished into the darkness.

Liu Fangfang watched him disappear, her heart filled with fear and unease. She knew she had started down a road of no return.

Over the next few days, Liu Fangfang acted according to the plan.

She tried to create an “accident” along Chen Qingdi’s usual route, but his bodyguards made it impossible for her to get close.

She felt increasingly desperate as the mission’s chances of success dwindled.

On the final night, Liu Fangfang sat in her room, contemplating her next move.
