Online Game: I Have A 100% Drop Rate

Chapter 116 116: 250 Reputation Points, Reputable Title and Increased Stats

Ding!

[Congratulations, you have leveled up to Level 37 + Level 38 + Level 39 + Level 40!]

[Due to “Heaven’s Blessing”, you have gained 600 points in all attributes and 600 free points to distribute.]

“Nice.”

Leon let out a satisfied breath as the familiar surge of strength flowed through his body.

The experience from defeating the [Trace of God of Magic] had been enormous, far beyond what ordinary monsters could provide.

With that, he was now only ten levels away from reaching Level 50.

Level 50 meant the [Third Assessment].

And the [Third Assessment] was the final gate before entering the [Higher Domain].

He glanced around the silent chamber.

The semi transparent figure of the [Trace of God of Magic] had completely disappeared.

And more importantly, it left no drops.

It seemed like the trace did not drop any items as Leon’s talent didn’t activate.

He did not look disappointed though.

The real reward of this [Secret Realm] wasn’t just random items after all.

It was something much greater.

Leon lifted his gaze toward the end of the chamber.

The [Forbidden Spell Book] sat quietly on the pedestal once more.

Now that he had completed the challenge of the [Secret Realm], the reward was finally available to him.

The air around the book shimmered faintly.

Before he moved toward it though, several panels appeared in front of him at the same time.

Ding!

[Your “Blood Heart” has recharged.]

“Nice,” Leon nodded.

He had expected this.

After fighting the [Crystal Mist Guardian], the [Undead Scourge], and the [God of Magic’s Disciple], he had expected it to recharge.

It had taken slightly longer than he initially predicted, but that was fine.

Now it was ready again. And then, another panel appeared.

Ding!

[Player “Celestial” is the first to complete the “Trace of Magic Chamber” secret realm and has been rewarded with 50 Reputation Points.]

The announcement echoed across the entire [Lower Domain].

Every player heard it clearly. In [Lower Domain #1], the reactions were immediate.

“God damn it, this Celestial guy again?”

“He is everywhere.”

“I swear he does not let anyone breathe.”

The players in [Lower Domain #1] were starting to get used to these announcement though.

Even though no one could get announcements as they were reserved for insane feats, this [Celestial] managed to continuously get them.

Leon did not care. He never cared about the noise.

Instead, he calmly opened his reputation panel.

[Reputation Points: 285]

“Nice.”

That meant he had just crossed another important threshold.

And just as expected, new notifications appeared.

Ding!

[Your reputation has reached 250.]

[You will now gain an additional 50 attribute points per level.]

[You have received the “Reputable” title.]

[As a reward for your feats, your base attributes will be increased by 50%.]

Leon froze for a brief moment.

“Holy shit.”

The additional 50 attribute points per level was something he expected.

That was the standard reward for reaching 250 Reputation Points.

The [Reputable] title was also something he had been waiting for.

But the base attributes increase? That was new.

Not only was gaining reputation points extremely difficult to begin with for most players.

Many in fact could never manage to reach 250.

Leon had once asked other players who managed to reach this threshold in the past.

They spoke about the [Reputable] title and some other small rewards.

But none of them ever mentioned a direct 50 percent increase to base attributes.

This was not a small reward. This was absurd.

If he had to guess, it was definitely linked to his [Celestial] title.

That title had already shown that it could amplify or modify certain rewards.

It would not be surprising if it enhanced milestone bonuses as well.

Leon grinned slightly.

“I wonder what I will get at 500.”

If 250 gave him this much, then 500 would probably be something even more ridiculous.

Another panel appeared.

Ding!

[Do you wish to apply the 50% base attributes increase now?]

[Yes] [Yessir]

Leon did not immediately press either option.

His eyes shifted to another panel.

[Free Points to Allocate: 1,500.]

He had not allocated any points since reaching Level 30.

With the recent level ups and the bonus from [Heaven’s Blessing], he had accumulated a massive amount.

He crossed his arms for a moment and thought carefully.

“Half in [Spirit], 500 in [Strength], and 250 in [Agility],” Leon said calmly.

The points were assigned instantly.

Fwoosh!

Power surged through his body. His muscles tightened. His senses sharpened. His mana pool expanded dramatically.

But he did not stop there.

Without hesitation, he pressed [Yessir].

BOOM!

It felt as if something exploded inside his body.

An overwhelming wave of energy burst outward from his core.

His entire body trembled violently as aura leaked from his skin.

The ground beneath his feet cracked slightly under the pressure.

His eyes turned white for a few seconds as the transformation completed.

Then everything settled down.

Ding!

[All your base attributes have increased by 50%.]

Leon inhaled slowly.

Of course, this only affected his base attributes. Equipment bonuses and sub talent boosts were calculated separately.

But even so, this was massive. He immediately opened his status window.

[Constitution: 8,821 (+1,900 + 8,041)]

[Strength: 9,693 (+1,150 + 8,132)]

[Agility: 8,394 (+1,950 + 5,172)]

[Spirit: 12,864 (+9,350 + 22,214)]

Because his base attributes had increased, every enhancement related to them also scaled upward.

And that meant one very important thing.

[Combat Power: 79,544 (+119,668)]1

Leon stared at the number.

“…Damn.”

He was nearly at 200,000 Combat Power.

Just a short while ago, the [Trace of God of Magic] had stood at 250,000.

Now, Leon was not that far behind.

Technically, his raw [Combat Power] was still slightly below that trace at full strength.

But in an actual battle, even without his [Celestial’s Might], Leon felt like he might have won.

“Good,” Leon muttered.

This growth would make the rest of the [Lower Domain] much easier to handle.

He knew several beings that could still challenge him, and the [Higher Domain] would still be very hard.

But for now, he was more than strong enough.

Satisfied, Leon turned his attention back to the pedestal at the end of the chamber.

The [Forbidden Spell Book] was glowing much more fiercely than before.

The light around it pulsed slowly, as if responding to his presence.

He considered using his [Blood Heart] for a moment.

But he shook his head. There was no point in using it now.

Most of his current equipment would eventually be replaced.

Using such a powerful blessing on temporary gear would be a waste.

The only pieces he planned to keep for a long time were the [Void Staff] and the [Elemental Dragon Armor], and both were already blessed.

It was stupid to waste the [Blood Heart] without a clear purpose, especially when he did not know how long it would take to recharge again.

He already knew what he wanted to use it on: the next sword he obtained.

‘I’ll be able to get a powerful sword with the item I wanted from [Myriad Race City] soon.’

With that thought settled, Leon began walking toward the pedestal.

His footsteps echoed in the empty chamber. The air felt different now.

After about a minute, he stood in front of the pedestal once again.

The last time he tried to take the book, it had rejected him violently.

“I really hope it does not explode this time,” he sighed.

He extended his hand carefully. For a split second, nothing happened.

Then his fingers touched the cover.

He grasped it firmly and lifted it from the pedestal.

Ding!

[You have acquired the “Forbidden Spell Book”.]

Leon did not waste time.

Fwoosh!

He immediately poured his mana into the book.

The cover glowed brightly. The pages flipped open on their own, moving rapidly as if guided by invisible hands.

Deep whispers echoed in his ears. They were not clear words, but they carried weight.

The energy radiating from the book was far greater than any normal skill book he had ever used.

Ding!

[You have used the “Forbidden Spell Book”.]

[For showing such an amazing feat, you have been deemed worthy, and thus will receive a “Forbidden Spell”.]

Leon took a slow breath.

“Here we go.”

This was the true reward: a forbidden spell.

Something beyond normal magic. Something dangerous.

The whispers grew louder. Then the final panel appeared.

Ding!

[You have learned the forbidden spell: “Oblivion Meteor”.]

Leon’s eyes widened slightly.

“Damn.”
