"Not good! Everyone, run to the other side! The ship’s going to flip over!"

Nami screamed in terror, her voice sharp and urgent amidst the howling wind and rain.

The moment they heard her, everyone sprang into action.

"Got it! Gum-Gum!"

Luffy reacted immediately. His arms stretched out and latched onto the railing on the opposite side of the ship.

With a powerful pull, he launched himself forward, using his own weight to help restore the vessel’s balance.

Zoro and Sanji followed suit, throwing their full strength into holding down the tilting ship and preventing it from capsizing.

After a desperate struggle, the Going Merry finally stabilized amid the violent rocking.

The situation was still dire, but at least they had avoided overturning—for now.

Zoro’s brows furrowed as he stared at the colossal tsunami stretching between sea and sky.

His expression was unusually grim.

At the same time, he glanced over the side of the ship and noticed the seawater rapidly receding.

That discovery made his frown deepen even further.

Because he could already see it.

The island beneath the sea.

The destroyed island.

"Everyone, if we don’t move now, we’re all going to die here."

His voice remained calm and steady, but the urgency behind his words sent a chill through everyone present.

Pointing toward the distance, he continued,

"That strange island has surfaced."

The words struck the crew like a thunderbolt.

"What?!"

Nami gasped and rushed to the other side of the ship.

Standing on tiptoe, she looked toward the horizon.

There, a gigantic island was slowly emerging from the ocean.

Its surface was barren and scarred with countless crater-like pits.

The sight was almost unbelievable.

Not only was its shape bizarre, but the island itself radiated an oppressive atmosphere, as though it were a monument to destruction.

"The sea level... the sea level is dropping!"

Nami’s voice trembled, and her face turned pale.

As the ship’s navigator, she understood the implications better than anyone.

The faster the sea level fell, the larger the incoming tsunami would be.

And that was terrible news for all of them.

Usopp was equally horrified.

Practically stumbling over himself, he rushed to the bow of the ship.

When he saw jagged rocks emerging from beneath the water around the island, terror consumed him entirely.

He nearly toppled over the railing.

"Ten meters! The sea level has dropped at least ten meters already! And it’s still falling!"

Usopp shouted in panic, his voice full of despair.

"We’re finished! We’re all going to die!"

Tears and snot streamed down his face as he ran frantically around the deck, as though panic itself might save him.

Chopper was just as overwhelmed.

Following behind Usopp, he cried at the top of his lungs.

"We’re doomed! We’re all going to die! We’re done for!"

Zoro stood nearby in silence, coldly watching the commotion.

Sanji let out a sigh.

Remaining calm, he lit a cigarette and took a long drag before slowly exhaling a cloud of smoke.

Then he looked toward Usopp.

"If you’ve got the energy to scream about dying, use it to sail the ship. We might still have a chance."

A moment later, he turned toward Zoro.

"Marimo-head, if you don’t want to die, get over here and help."

Zoro snorted dismissively.

Although he clearly wasn’t pleased with Sanji’s wording, he still put aside his swords and moved to the front of the ship.

His face remained indifferent, but his actions were swift and decisive.

Together, they adjusted the ship’s course and pushed it to full speed—

Straight toward the tsunami at an angle.

"Zoro, what are you doing?!"

Usopp shrieked.

"Do you think we’re not dying fast enough already?!"

His voice was filled with terror and disbelief.

He couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

Normally, Zoro was one of the calmest people on the crew.

Yet now, instead of searching for a way to escape, he seemed determined to charge directly into the disaster.

Usopp felt as though his soul was about to leave his body.

Zoro isn’t just bad with directions—he’s completely insane!

At that critical moment, Nami exploded.

"Usopp, shut up!"

Even Luffy jumped in surprise.

Scary... Nami is really scary right now...

Nami quickly forced herself to calm down and carefully observed their surroundings.

No matter how terrifying the situation was, she knew that as the crew’s navigator, keeping a clear head was the most important thing.

Then she explained as calmly as possible,

"The best way to escape a tsunami is actually to head toward deeper waters.

We’re currently inside the drawdown zone created by the tsunami.

Trying to run directly away from it is almost impossible.

The only option is to use the massive pull of the receding water and head toward deeper seas. That’s our best chance of surviving."

After hearing Nami’s explanation, Usopp froze.

Then he immediately realized how foolish his earlier assumptions had been.

The correct solution was the exact opposite of what he had imagined.

Feeling embarrassed, he stopped wasting time complaining and sprang into action.

He rushed to repair damaged sections of the ship while tightening the sails to ensure they maintained the correct heading.

At that moment, Usopp only wanted to do everything he could to help the crew survive.

When he looked into the distance again, he saw that the once-calm ocean had become increasingly turbulent.

The island seemed to be rising higher and higher from the sea.

Which meant the water level was still dropping at an alarming rate.

Thinking about the sheer size of the tsunami that was coming, Usopp shivered.

But there was no time to dwell on it.

All he could do was work harder and fight for every precious second.

Chopper burst into tears.

His voice was filled with confusion and fear.

"What is happening?!

We were just quietly watching a meteor shower!

Then there was a flash of light, and suddenly the entire sky turned dark!"

Tears streamed down his cheeks as fear of the unknown filled his heart.
