Omega Summoner
Chapter 3058: The Underground Prison II
The dungeon’s second floor is different as it looked like an abandoned thorny forest but Adrian cannot be fooled. All of these dead looking things are actually alive. The ones that are actually looking dead are the ones bursting with vitality. Anyone foolish enough to touch them would be prey for these things. Adrian tried to inspect them to see what monster they are but they are not actually considered as monsters.
==
Name: Devil Vine
Description: A mutated vine that has the ability to suck the life out of anyone that touches it. It is an actual plant vine that has mutated and moves just like a snake pouncing on its prey.
==
Name: Devil Thicket
Description: A thick thicket that mutated because of something. It looked decayed and dead but is actually lively and would definitely grab any living being near it. It would never let go once it has something in its grasps.

"They are all over the place." Adrian stated.
"What did you find out, cousin?" Apolaki asked.
"All of these vines and thickets are deadly. They are not monsters but plants that have become almost monsters. I bet if we have left it for a hundred or so years then all of them would have mutated fully into monsters. They are basically immature plant monsters to be and killing them will not give us experience points." Adrian stated.
"So, are we going to kill them or not?" Apolaki asked.
"We have to kill them or else they would attack us behind our backs. They may be plants but their instinct to feed themselves is deadly. It would just need one quick swipe at anyone of us and they would suck us dry. Let me show you as Sirius could be used for this demonstration." Adrian stated as Sirius emerged from the shadows looking pitiful.
"Master no longer loves me anymore. He is now making me become a guinea pig." Sirius’ thoughts emitted but it seems he has forgotten that their master is already a high-level summoner which means all of his thoughts are also projected towards Adrian himself.
"Please do this for me, Sirius. You are the most dependable one amongst all of my soulbounds after all." Adrian stated and the soulbounds hanging around him suddenly perked up.
Kanlaon could be seen looking at Sirius with a serious expression compared to his laidback coiling position on Adrian’s neck earlier. Saena, who was summoned as the team does not have a dedicated healer, is perched on Adrian’s shoulder and became attentive. Even Charon’s chain form clinked and a small skull face emerged from the chains to look at Sirius.
"If the master wants to then I shall show them a demonstration." Sirius replied which actually shocked Maya and Tala.
"Wow! The big doggy could talk!" Tala stated.
"I am also quite shocked. I always thought that your soulbounds cannot talk as I have never seen videos of them talking in their monster forms. I have learned that they can have a humanoid form and talk but this is a first for me." Maya stated.
"We could always talk even back then but other beings compared to our master do not warrant our attention." Sirius stated.
Apolaki knew that his cousin was the best summoner player but he could not believe that all of his soulbounds are absolutely loyal to him. The fact that they put a pedestal on him means that no one would be above Adrian. He heard from Arsenal that this is the ultimate devotion a soulbound could give and even the latter only has one or two soulbounds that have this attitude.
"I have to give it to you, cousin. I have heard Arsenal grumble about the difficulties of a summoner but you make it seem easy. No wonder he treats you like a god when he meets you because you got some great tricks out your sleeve." Apolaki stated.
"Stop with the praises or else my ears will peel off. Sirius, you can now start your demonstration on the dangers of the terrain. Make sure to hide back in the shadows once it becomes dangerous. Do not dodge them using purely physical means." Adrian commanded.
"As the master wishes." Sirius stated as he jumped towards the location that Adrian pointed out.
As soon as Sirius landed, all of the dead looking vines and thickets lunged towards him like a greedy ghost. Some even shot like spears that will definitely tear anyone to flesh scraps in no time. Sirius did not defy the command of his master and instantly became shadows that crawled back to him. All of them could see the intricate and deadly trap that these Devil Vines and Devil Thickets could create.
"Damn! One wrong move and you would be killed in an instant. All of your body will be pierced without any way to dodge unless you can become immune to physical damage just like Sirius." Apolaki stated which made Maya slap him in the mouth.
"Watch your words. We have children here." Maya stated as she does not want Tala learning the harsh language that Apolaki utters.
"She will learn it eventually when she starts all of those formal training that grinds your body to dust. I am just giving her an advance lesson but you must never say that I told you that. Right... Tala." Apolaki stated which made Maya hit him on the back of his head.
"Just ignore what he said, Tala. Make sure that you grow up to be a refined lady but still have the ability to throw down anyone that dares offend you. It is a good thing that your older cousin is very much reflecting on his mistakes which is why he will be the one that clears the way for us." Adrian stated as he patted Tala’s head.
"Me?" Apolaki asked as he pointed at himself while Adrian just smiled while looking at him. Maya just glared at him and waited for him to take action.
"Fine. I will clear them but you two should take the next floor’s situation. Clearing an entire floor from these weeds would leave me weakened for some time." Apolaki stated.
"Make sure to kill all of them as they seem to have great proliferation so even just one vine could become a forest in under a few minutes." Adrian stated as he could detect the intense vitality that all of the vines and thickets have.
"Understood." Apolaki stated as his sword suddenly burned with sunfire.
Adrian knew that Apolaki is already a demigod but he did not expect that his route is different from other players. Apolaki is actually on the road to becoming a god and the patron god behind him is definitely not ordinary. The god behind Apolaki is also known as a sky god but Adrian knows that he is also a creator god which means he is a god of life.
Gods of life that are not under the faction of the Twin Gods mean they are powerful enough to not be under their umbrella. They are also more like a silent partner that does not clash with the other gods of life. Adrian did ask the other gods of life about the patron god that Apolaki has and all of them just gave him vague answers which proves that god is not ordinary.
"I am the sun that burns brights. Adlaw’s Scorch!" Apolaki declared as if he has become the sun incarnate and his body rose into the air.
Apolaki’s body suddenly ignited in orange and yellow light as if he has become a literal sun. His own hair also became golden flames that flickered in the dark cavern. A ring of flame appeared behind him like a corona as if signifying that he has transcended the mortal realm to become its ever-burning sun.
The most prominent thing is that the tattoos on his body burned red which made him look like a flaming war god. Adrian could feel the divine energy blazing from Apolaki as this form is definitely not ordinary. This form already touches the realm of a lesser god to a certain degree but it is definitely still in the realm of a a demigod.
Apolaki’s blade grew large as it is wreathed in flames so powerful that everything it touches can become ash. With a powerful swing, the entire floor covered in vines and thicket turned into ash. There was not even an explosion as all of the ash that should have scattered were burned into nothingness once again with another swing from Apolaki.
As soon as the ashes became nothing, Apolaki slowly descended to the ground and looked incredibly exhausted. He then slowly lost his balance which is why Adrian froze time in his place. Adrian then proceeded to help Apolaki stand tall as he literally did what Adrian asked him. He scorched the entire second floor of the cavern and did not leave any living being here.
[Your party has succeeded in clearing everything in the second floor of the dungeon.]
