Chapter 2658: Four Demonic General Izanami II

Hexy did not even hesitate and used up all of the curses that she could use under the Cursed Paradise. The Goddess Izanami was a b it immune from the curses at first but Brew had a solution to that. Once Brew recovered, he immediately threw away a potion that reduces the curse resistance of the target for a few seconds. In an instant, all of the curses were applied to the body of the Goddess Izanami.

The body of the Goddess Izanami got covered in curses to the point that her entire body looked murky. One thing that Creepysoo’s team did great at is the fact that they did not stop barraging attacks at the enemy. The Goddess Izanami might have powerful attacks and fatal moves but her sturdiness is not like the others.

She can be classified as an assassin type enemy which means her health is not large and focusing on her will easily defeat her. Of course, a powerful enemy would likely have a skill or two that can reverse the situation just in case they are caught in something that could endanger them. The Goddess Izanami is the same as she immediately used the darkness elemental spell Shadow Reflect.

The body of the Goddess Izanami is covered in shadows as all of the curses attached to her is then attached to that very shadow. The shadow then became a sentient monster that searched for a new host. It is a living shadow that will attach all of the negative statuses of the Goddess Izanami to any being near her. The prime target was none other than Creepysoo as he was the player nearest to the Goddess Izanami and is not immune to the curses.

The living shadow scurried towards Creepysoo but a chef suddenly blocked the way. Gourmet ate something that doubled his current health for a moment and then stood in front of the living shadow. Seeing another fresh target, the living shadow suddenly started to attach towards Gourmet. The living shadow wrapped around Gourmet and started to apply all of the curses attached to it.

“You sacrificed yourself when all of you are going to die by my hands!” The Goddess Izanami stated even though her health is already dangerously low.

The Goddess Izanami sneered as the mortals before him are just like other mortals that she knew. They would sacrifice themselves for others when those that they sacrificed for will just waste the effort and abandon them. She never really liked mortals and her resentment increased every reincarnation that she faced.

The Goddess Izanami moved to kill Hexy as she was the most dangerous one right now for her. The curses that a Black Fairy applied to her were so painful and bypassed even her resistances. She needed to kill the Black Fairy then moved to the alchemist that is also troublesome. She would leave the necromancer for last as he was protected by his undead army.

The Goddess Izanami ignored Gourmet as she knew that the curses applied to her earlier will kill a mortal easily. Those curses were enough to even kill a greater god if they were not prepared. She believed that one major enemy has already been destined to die but she did not expect what happened next. A hazy purple glow suddenly covered Gourmet’s body and the smell of wine got sprinkled in the area.

[The Curse of the God of Wine forbids any other curses to be applied to the bearer of the curse.]

[All curses that were applied to the Cursed One of the Wine God shall be reverted back in full to the caster.]

The living shadow that covered Gourmet suddenly screamed in agony before exploding into a hazy mist that smelled like wine. The hazy wine mist then snaked its way towards the Goddess Izanami and attached to her body. The curses applied to the Goddess Izanami would have killed her in ten minutes because most of it is damage over time but the backlash from the Curse of the Wine God applied it in one instance.

The Goddess Izanami is swallowed by the hazy wine mist and then dropped to the ground from the backlash that she received from the instant damage of the curses applied directly. She may have not casted the curses but she was the one that created the living shadow that applied the curses to Gourmet. The curse applied to Gourmet is not a simple curse as it is a divine curse applied by a god directly. The god that also cursed him forbade any other curse to affect him as the god believe that only he should be able torture Gourmet.

When the Goddess Izanami was completely swallowed by the hazy wine mist, it also marked her death. She was not eve able to kill one of the Pantheon Guild members that hunted her. She could only curse that she died because of mortals once again. Her death also shocked Creepysoo, Hexy, and Brew as they did not expect the end result. This is how Creepysoo remembered the events of their fight against the Goddess Izanami.

“Even you looked shocked about what happened.” Creepysoo stated as he looked towards Gourmet that only has a quarter of his health left.

“I knew that my curse would activate and return all negative statuses to the enemy but I did not think that it would kill her. I guess Hexy has applied a bunch of nasty curses that could have killed me if I did not eat something that doubled my current health.” Gourmet stated.

“I applied about fifty curses to her.” Hexy replied.

As they were discussing what happened, a golden claw suddenly picked up the tattered body of the Goddess Izanami. They tried to stop the golden dragon claw but all of their attacks did little damage. The body of the Goddess Izanami was recovered by the Corrupted Yellow Emperor along with her soul being intact. It was not just her soul that was recovered as the other sand soldiers turned to dust as their souls were harvested as well.
