Chapter 2659: Four Demonic General Chiyou I

Unlike the lucky and synergistic team that Creepysoo had, the team led by Kabrakan is not shaping up so well. The enemy that they found is none other than Chiyou who is a God of War. A fight against a God of War is not easy as they were purely born for combat and Chiyou is not an exception.

They did not encounter Chiyou immediately but Silent Ghost was always on the lookout. He was monitoring villages around them from kilometers away. It was when he thought that nothing would happen did the group Chiyou led appeared. He was looking at Chiyou using his scope when the latter suddenly looked towards his direction.

Silent Ghost thought that he was just seeing things as they were a few kilometers away but Chiyou directly looked at him and smiled. A shiver immediately ran in Silent Ghost’s body as the target that he was scoping suddenly vanished from his view. His instincts as a sniper screamed as he instantly turned himself invisible while also warning his team members.

“He is coming!” Silent Ghost warned as he became what he named himself which is silent as he no longer said another word.

“What?! Who is coming?” Arsenal asked but he also prepared.

“A lesser god is coming towards us. Be ready.” Apolaki stated as he could sense a powerful divine energy going towards them.

“It seems that he noticed us. Murim Alliance members and of the dragon lake palace, proceed to defeat the ones that are invading the village. We shall deal with their leader!” Kabrakan commanded.

“Affirmative!” The people of the Murim Alliance and the dragon lake palace agreed without hesitation as more enemies against a god of war is not really a good thing.

“He is here.” Apolaki stated as he brandished his weapons and charged forward.

A few seconds later, a powerful clash between Apolaki’s weapon and the God Chiyou commenced. Unlike the others of the Four Demonic Generals, Chiyou already activated his godly mode in battle. A red aura could be seen covering him entirely as his bloodlust is materializing and making him stronger. A smile could be seen on the God Chiyou’s face as he met a being blessed by another god.

“To think that I am meeting a champion of another god here.” The God Chiyou stated as his fists became explosive which made Apolaki retreat.

The explosion of internal energy from the God Chiyou created a shockwave that made Apolaki unbalanced in the air. The God Chiyou used that chance to try and destroy the chest of the champion but two towering shields suddenly slammed in front of the former. The two shields were incredibly heavy and is actually the same size as the God Chiyou.

“Repel!” Kabrakan shouted as the strike that was absorbed by the shield is then reflected back towards the God Chiyou.

A powerful shockwave came out of the two shields which reflected the damage that the God Chiyou did. The enemy was flung by a few meters and the God Chiyou felt a tingling sensation from his hands. A sensation that he rarely felt now that his body can support his divine energy. The being before him that has the horns of a bull is made up of natural energy which can counter gods.

“Schwing!”

The sound of a bullet that pierced the sound barrier could be heard and is aimed directly at the God Chiyou’s head. Unfortunately, the God Chiyou could sense the bloodlust from that attack and lifted his fist to casually block the bullet. The same tingling sensation could be felt when he blocked the bullet with his bare hands. The God Chiyou also smiled because the one that fired the bullet suddenly vanished as even the bloodlust is also gone with the wind.

“It seems that we have a ghost.” The God Chiyou stated with a smile as his anticipation for a battle started to become bigger and bigger.

The God Chiyou then looked above him where a bow and arrow that is working by itself could be seen. This bow was decorated like a bird and it fired arrows that were made of wind. He immediately slammed his foot on the ground which created an internal energy dome that prevented the wind arrows from reaching him.

The internal energy did not last long as it was only enough to defend against the wind arrows. The God Chiyou then sensed some anomalous vibrations under him. This prompted him to jump as a whip could be seen breaking the ground and attempted to strangle him. The God Chiyou released internal energy on his foot which pinned the whip to the ground instead of following him up in the air.

With the God Chiyou in the air, he is now open to more attacks and Silent Ghost did not miss his chance. The enemy might have deflected the bullet he released earlier but this time it is not the same. Silent Ghost loaded a piercing round which will penetrate even the armor of a god.

“Sniper’s Focus!” Silent Ghost stated as his senses tripled and it looked like time itself slowed down for him.

Silent Ghost aimed for the chest as the head might be able to dodge since he is against a god of war. The chest of the God Chiyou is also large which makes it a better target even though it is more heavily armored but his bullet will definitely pierce that armor. A creepy mana filled the bullet as the bullet case transformed into the shape of a skull.

Unlike the first bullet that created a sharp sound, the bullet that Silent Ghost released this time had no sound. It was like the bullet itself does not exist or is a ghost as it was incredibly silent. The God Chiyou could only sense the bloodlust in a rather obscure location which is why he looked towards the direction of Silent Ghost. What the God Chiyou did not expect is a sudden piercing bullet that passed through his body which made him crash to the ground.
