Chapter 2581: Samadhi True Fire

“Did you think that I did not prepare just in case this beast fails?” A voice that is different from the Three-Legged Crow came from its corpse.

“Attack them!” Adrian commanded as he sent his soulbounds directly towards Chiyou and Tama.

“Vixen!” Tai shouted.

“I am on it! Fox Formation!” Vixen shouted as she suddenly coughed up blood as she forcefully activated a specific powerful formation magic. A large silhouette of a pink fox appeared which swallowed Adrian’s soulbounds.

The soulbounds that Adrian sent towards Chiyou and Tama suddenly vanished. They were suddenly sent into a special dimension which made Adrian angry as he felt their connection weaken. Gravity suddenly quadrupled in the area which made all of the people around Adrian fall on their knees. Those with weaker bodies even slammed face first towards the ground as their bodies could not support.

Tai did not waste the chance that Vixen used for her as he moved quickly. His fists suddenly found itself a few feet away from Adrian’s face. Tai thought that he would be able to smack the head of the demon and it would destroy the gravity control in the area. Tai’s fist is about to connect when he suddenly found himself hitting nothing.

Adrian’s head vanished but his body was still there. A portal could be seen on Adrian’s neck as his head appeared a few meters on top of him. Sharp insect claws suddenly came out from portals that aimed at Tai’s body. Adrian thought that the insect claws will be able to penetrate the body of his enemy, but Tai’s body was sturdier than he though. The claws hit Tai’s body, but he was sent flying back.

Adrian is about to finish off Vixen, but he suddenly heard the Vermillion Bird of the South scream in pain. He turned around and saw that the Vermillion Bird of the South is being burned by ominous purple flames. Adrian felt some sort of resonance with those flames as it was not ordinary flames. Seeing the Vermillion Bird of the South in pain, Adrian abandoned his plan of killing off Vixen and turned towards his friend.

“Die from the flames of Samadhi True Fire!” The dead Three-Legged Crow shouted as it exploded into purple flames that engulfed the Vermillion Bird of the South.

The Vermillion Bird of the South saw that Adrian was coming to its aide which is why it made a decision. The Vermillion Bird of the South knew that its friend will not survive if it is also caught up in the explosion. With its remaining strength, the Vermillion Bird of the South chose to save its friend instead of saving itself. A golden gust of wind sent Adrian flying back and covered his body from the dark purple flames that exploded in the area.

“No!” Adrian screamed as he is engulfed in the flame explosion but is safe due to the protective spell that the Vermillion Bird of the South used for him.

“HAHAHA!” Chiyou exclaimed in ecstasy as his body suddenly weakened from taking control of the corpse of the Three-Legged Crow.

He already planted the Samadhi True Fire into the body of the Three-Legged Crow and planned to use it if it did die. He thought that he would never use it because the Three-Legged Crow is already boosted by the Samadhi True Fire, but he was wrong. The true strength of the Vermillion Bird of the South is too much for the Three-Legged Crow. Thankfully, the Three-Legged Crow exhausted the Vermillion Bird of the South and Chiyou managed to drag it to death by sacrificing the former.

“Gather the body of the Vermillion Bird of the South!” Chiyou commanded as the remaining Kami members charged towards the smoke.

The Kami members believed that they have succeeded as the demon is also in the heart of the explosion. Even a being like that cannot defend itself against the Samadhi True Fire due to its destructive properties. Victory is within their reach as Chiyou stood up after feeling weak, but it was screams of terror that erupted.

“Dimension Cutter.” A voice devoid of feeling stated as the dimensions around the smoke suddenly became fragmented.

The smoke cleared and the sight of the demon having some parts of his body being burnt could be seen. The dead body of the Vermillion Bird of the South could also be seen as it slowly turned to ash. When the dimension finally returned to normal, all those affected by Dimension Cutter turned into shreds.

Adrian then looked at Vixen as she was still alive and his glare made her shiver in fear. Adrian did not even need to do anything special as Vixen suddenly saw her body being split in half. She could not even react as two portals suddenly split her body in half as Adrian made it explode from inside of her. Adrian’s nose could be seen bleeding as that spell was not easy to perform and needed utmost finesse, but he managed to do it since he is still fused with Kenos.

When Vixen died, the formation that she used to trap Adrian’s soulbounds broke free and they were released. The soulbounds that returned back to the world suddenly felt the immense sadness of their master as well as his boiling rage. The soulbounds did not need to be commanded for what they needed to do next as they assumed all of their true sizes.

“Kill all of them.” Sirius stated as their master did not need to command them for his rage to subside.

Sirius, Kimat, Charon, and Dodu began their rampage that etched fear into the hearts of the Kami members. Tai saw what happened to Vixen as she died horribly and tried to avenge her by charging towards Adrian, but Kimat blocked him. Kimat used one claw to send Tai flying away as he crashed towards the broken buildings.

“I shall deal with that one as his weapon is not something that can easily damage me.” Kimat announced.
