Chapter 622: Leader Vender

A simple announcement was made by Lowengren.

It spoke and implied one fact that many had long believed.

Marrho was not a normal Presider but an incarnation! Everyone knew that Marrho was one of Prime Defiant's incarnations! But to think, an announcement would be made to target him and involve Prime Zephirus!

The news spread out like wildfire after the broadcast. Even Pioneers were interested in this battle.

A battle between two Presiders of similar power would lead to destruction, and for the many surviving Pioneers, it meant a chance to exploit.

But this news naturally drew many Presiders to action.

The entire Orbital was full of movement and commotion.

Armies marched out, and Presiders riding their thrones began to make appearances.

The two Presiders that hid on the upper layer made their rare appearance and moved deep into the second layer.

The power of lies spread and caused many Presiders to prepare to attack.

Numerous armies marched out from the first level and slowly descended to the second level.

What was shocking was that the armies of Haresha also began to move and march against Presider Marrho's base!

Inside a marching band of Pioneers were the inconspicuous members of Seeker's team, which now had a sizable population. There were now more than six hundred members of this team.

Almost everyone believed that the leader was Cecilia. From the Pioneers' perspective, Cecilia had long been allied with the Earthlings and managed to communicate far before the war began. It was a plot for her to get stronger, and many deceptive lies were made.

Cecilia, who was once part of the Pig Five, naturally had the position to make this claim. Lowengren and Harker made it easier for everyone to believe as they saw the group obey Cecilia without question and call her "Queen."

Now, their group appeared like any Pioneer group.

Numerous Presider groups had gathered, and Thrones appeared.

These were several of the surviving Presiders.

Each of their forces raised their flags and then turned to the last group, which had none.

Three Mid-Tier Presiders had all moved out to fight.

Thaynes, the Mid-Tier that bested Plake of the Pig Five

Archivus, the survivor of the best. He was there when the strongest Presider fought, and while four other Presiders died in that clash, he managed to survive and had an intact army.

Lent was a Top Tier who nearly died against the Battle of Marrho's Wrath. The damage and losses he experienced caused him to have a visible drop in power, and everyone considered him to be in the Mid-Tier level.

Their armies met at the crossroads, leading to a tunneling drop that connected the second layer to the inner layer of the Orbital.

But as they hoisted their flags to show who they were, they glanced at the fourth small army.

At once, the Gargantua that led this group began to separate and revealed its core. At the very center, Cecilia's throne appeared.

"Cecilia?" The Throne of Thaynes opened up and revealed a tall man with long, dark hair.

"You're alive."

"Is this life? I am here to gamble whatever remains of my life to kill Marrho. Marrho was the one who attacked me and led me to this state." Cecilia spoke.

"...Then you can take part in this gathering. We won't help, but we won't attack each other."

"Understood," Cecilia answered, and the Gargantua began to reform, and she was once more hidden in the Gargantua.

But as it was closing, Cecilia felt a message sent directly to her brain.

"Is he really the target?"

It was a simple question that somehow broke all barriers and spoke directly to Cecilia as she sat on her recovering Throne.

Cecilia answered 'no.'

Cecilia was worried as the Principal somehow made a link to her, and her face began to tremble.

WARP!

"He communicated with you?" Lynd asked as he appeared next to her.

Cecilia nodded. It didn't help that around him was a team who could catch every micro-expression her face revealed and constantly check on her. She knew that they didn't trust her.

"What did he ask?"

"If Marrho is the one. He knows. I feel that he knows..." Cecilia couldn't help but worry.

"The odds are against us, but it's not like we can do anything about it." Seeker smiled.

"Our concern is Presider Haresha. We don't know what her actions could be..." Ninalet added.

"She is falling for my lie by sending out her detachment. You said that those are the current officers, right?" Lowengren asked.

"Right... But I've seen Haresha. She has a way of figuring things out. And Porrelom could do something that would break her plan." Ninalet sighed.

Just next to them was Haresha was in stasis and seemed to be 'physically' asleep. But in reality, her soul had been slowly recovering. Haresha could no longer receive the vague words of her Horoscope. Yet, with so many around them, Haresha did not attempt to develop a deeper connection with Jake, as Seeker was always around.

Her chance arrived a day ago; they tried to scan her by connecting her to a powerful realm of amplifying tools to boost her soul.

Her damaged soul was very difficult to see through. Yet her power with Astrology allowed her to link.

The day of Virgo had arrived, and through that, her link with her Throne could strengthen. It was only for an instant, but when they tried to boost her soul, Haresha intentionally sabotaged and attacked her own to hide the message that was sent.

This message alerted the Throne that she had hidden somewhere on the second level. With Haresha being close, she sent out simple instructions through Horoscope.

Haresha was in her little pod, where she had access to the files of the battle from the perspective of the Pioneers. But all the while, this Presider was constantly checking the amazing capabilities of the team.

"How can they have such power without Nefilus suits? The Throne technology they have is also very... primitive. Yet it branches out and is far more powerful than ours! Throne Technology ties a person to a place of authority and becomes a ruler of a certain realm of power. We built our thrones first and then acquired power! Yet they developed the thrones after they manifested such power! How is this possible?!" Haresha couldn't understand the mystery of it.

"We're approaching the branching point. At the fork, we head down to attack Render. Get ready." Guinevere informed.

The team got ready, and everyone was still waiting.

"Hey, Vender. You know the plans, right?" Lowengren asked.

"Huh? Well... um... I know... the gist of it!"

"Good! Then let's go! Lead the way!" Lowengren answered and opened the hatchet to deploy them from their current location and be dropped off outside.

The hatch opened, and Vender and his Throne fell and began to scream.

"What are you doing?!" Jake shouted.

But suddenly, two hatches opened, and two Thrones fell.

Seeker and Lowengren both fell.

"Seeker!" Meryl shouted.

"Why are they...?!" Madelyne was confused.

A fourth hatch opened, and Irvana and her Throne fell.

"Irvana!" Meryl shouted.

"What are they doing? It's not yet time?" Harker complained.

Gardo was about to flip the switch when he felt a strange hold, and everyone stopped moving.

Lynd used his Realm to stop everyone.

"Unless you want to be frustrated to the point of wanting to die, don't pull that hatchet." Lynd chuckled.

"...! I see!" Cliff was the next to understand the strange actions.

They could see the Thrones move out and could hear their transmission.

"Gardo! Where to? Lead the way for our attack!"

"M-me?!"

"Yes! I thought you knew the plan!"

"I-I do! Follow me!" Vender flew out and began to attack the other Pioneers nearby.

He glanced at his Throne and realized that there were many new buttons.

"BBB?" Vender saw one with a large explosive icon.

"What does this button do?" Vender pressed it.

His throne launched a simple Rocket.

The rocket was equipped with some defensive technology. And as the pioneers began to shoot it with their anti-air weapons that were automatically triggered, it was too late.

Seeker, Lowengren, and Irvana saw the rocket and quickly retreated. They would be in the range of the blast.

The rocket was one of Earth's weapons of Mass destruction. Because Earth had many techs scattered by the Lost Primordial, this rocket that was now refined had finally reached a level that it could compete with the explosive power of Top-Tier Presider techs.

Vender launched a Big Bang Boom bomb.

BOOOOOOOM!

The attack was launched right in the middle of the three armies of the Presiders.

"This plan sucks..." Seeker cursed and felt his liver explode.

"I knew I'd regret doing this..." Lowengren sighed.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Cecilia shouted as she linked with Vender.

The entire three armies began to attack Cecilia.

"Cecilia... Retreat. Team. Deploy now!" Seeker had no choice but to make changes to their plan.
