Chapter 623: Reaching Render’s Fortress

Several minutes before Vender launched the Big Bang Boom, Seeker, Lowengren, and Lynd had a secret meeting.

"You want to me to what?" Seeker was horrified at Lowengren's suggestion.

"The three of us. You, me, and Vender will go out. We let Vender take the lead to whatever he wants to do."

"..." Seeker grimaced at Lowengren's suggestion.

"Oh. Looking at your expression, I guess this thought has crossed your mind, but you don't want to do it." Lowengren noticed.

"Despite being an Overcomer, I still have fears. That is practically suicide!"

"Or it could be a way to further damage the power of the Principal here and change the flow of things here! Seeker, we are still far away from having a shot at defeating the Principal. Seeing the future's just one of the obstacles that we have to go through. And I'm sure he has been making his arrangements. We need this."

Seeker glanced at Lynd.

"The suggestion doesn't involve me to go and let Vender lead you, so, right now, I'd say go for it, Zeek!"

"Damn it!" Seeker cursed.

"Fine. We'll do it."

"Also... I may have asked Lennox to add powerful things to his Throne. The purpose is, of course, for his defense. But, the problem is, Vender has not left his seat, and I never got the chance to talk to him about his weapons."

"That's a recipe for disaster, Lowengren!" Seeker tried his best not to shout.

"We can't talk about it in that room! I don't trust Ninalet, Cecilia, and even that Pioneer was healing. She could be a Presider or even Haresha, for all we know!"

"Haresha is leading her armies. Ninalet confirmed." Lynd frowned.

"Jake's been awfully quiet. He doesn't seem to have sensed any danger. That sixth sense of his to feel trouble has been useful, in my opinion. He will have detected anything if that Pioneer is someone strong." Seeker argued.

"I don't know! I just... assume the worst scenarios. Vender was listening to our plans earlier, so he does know about the general plan."

"Right. Sneak into Render's fortress and make an attack. But I guess if we let Vender lead the way, he'll probably make a crazy attack. So sneaking is out of the picture. Maybe we can use that to force Cecilia to a retreat." Lynd suggested.

"Then it's settled. We'll surprise Vender at the last second and tell him to lead the team. Even if he's out of our tempo, he's not stupid."

"What about the weapons you added to his Throne? What if he accidentally shoots them?"

"I've made Lennox create buttons that give basic and clear instructions. Vender's out of timing, but he isn't stupid. He piloted the Kyogre and many other ships of Lennox, so he should be familiar with it."

"Well... As long as he knows the plan and can pilot a ship, I guess we can let him have a strong set of weapons for our Throne. Lynd, are you sure he was listening when we explained the plan?"

"Yeah. As far as my Path can tell. He had a very serious expression, and my copy of him made me fall into deep contemplation of the plan. He should know it." Lynd nodded.

"Hm... Right. As long as he's equipped. I hate this plan, but let's do it. Vender's offbeat but not stupid. I guess I give him too much criticism..." Seeker sighed.

Fast forward to the current time...

"Stupid. Vender is definitely stupid!" Seeker cursed out.

War had now broken out as Vender used a Big Bang Boom and fired it at the center.

Vender began to fight and rap as he slew many beasts.

"It's him! The man who was doing the broadcast!" A Pioneer recognized Vender's loud voice.

"Retreat! Damn it! Retreat!" Cecilia was panicking as the unified army turned their weapons against her.

Lynd had a confused look and wondered why Vender disobeyed the direct order.

"Cliff... When we were talking about the plan... Vender was listening, right?" Lynd asked.

"Hmm? Did you use your copy? That wasn't his thinking look. You can copy posture and emotions, and you probably felt he was in deep thought and concentration, right?"

"Yes. Are you saying he wasn't?"

"No. He wasn't. If he makes that look, he's probably in whatever fantasy land."

"Are you sure?"

"My path's literally daydreaming. I'm pretty confident I can tell when someone else does it. Did you guys make some crazy plans? Is this why that idiot attacked?"

"...Yeah. But now that the dye has been cast, or in this case, the weapons of mass destruction launched, I guess we have to stick to the plan. Sorry, Zeek. Lowengren. You're on your own." Lynd sighed.

"Well, you heard him. Guinevere, detach yourself from this. Cecilia, you have to retreat. It'd be suspicious if you remained. Begin the divide. Our ship will leave this Gargantuant and attack Render. You retreat." Lynd spoke and instantly deployed himself to battle.

Cecilia saw Lynd's Throne appear as it quickly used Meryl's light that flashed a great brightness.

Cecilia had no choice but to retreat.

"I expected you folks not to trust me, but at least warn me when your allies do something crazy!" Cecilia cursed as she ordered the Pioneers to issue a full-scale retreat.

"Trust me, lady. We're more surprised than you are..." Meryl sighed as he went to her position.

Outside, Meryl and the rest had appeared on their Thrones and made one attack after the other.

In the middle of the three Presider armies, Seeker and Lowengren, who had decided to follow Vender, began to weep in frustration. Why would their plan to sneak into Render's fortress start with war against the Pioneer armies of other Presiders? That attack would trigger a war and force all the enemies to attack them!

But this was what they decided to do and fought on.

"Why?! Why did he fire the Big Bang Boom?!" Lowengren couldn't understand it.

"Ahem... Vender. Why was your first choice of attack the Big Bang Boom?"

"Yeah! Sorry! That's my bad! I knew it was a Big Bang Boom button. But I was surprised it was there! So I pressed it!"

Lowengren lied to himself that he would live a very peaceful and fruitful life in the future after all the terror he faced on Earth to stop himself from murdering Vender.

"S-so you knew that it was the Big Bang Boom, but you pressed it anyway?"

"Well, I didn't know what it did! I thought it was definitely not a Big Bang Boom. You guys are afraid of my odd ways; I thought you wouldn't give me such weapons."

Lowengren wept even more.

"So it was our fault?" Lowengren asked.

"Did I... mess up?" Vender asked.

Seeker had no choice but to follow Vender's actions. If they stopped now, then the entire plan could be ruined.

"N-no! G-Good! You... you really... can grasp the timing of this!" Seeker forced praise as he turned his hate and began to attack the Pioneers.

The Throne harnessed Sound and Lightning and began to shoot over the base.

As the war raged, the ship that Guinevere piloted had detached from Cecilia's ship, and they were on their way.

"What are they doing?!" Madelyne blasted.

"Following Vender..." Cliff explained.

"Why?!"

"Exactly. Why? Why would they do that? Why follow someone who will do unpredictable things? We're still changing the future to the point that the Principal won't recognize it." Rai finally spoke.

"So... they plan to follow Vender's orders and will support him?" Gardo asked.

"Yes. Seeker has truly surpassed me as an Overcomer. I have no courage to agree to such insanity."

"I take it that we are still set to attack Render?" Gardo asked again.

"Yup." Lynd smiled.

"Could... someone explain to me what just happened?" Ninalet finally asked.

"We can't. You're still Pioneers after all..." Lynd answered.

"Thrones! Deploy now." Lennox ordered, and the group began to disengage, and their Thrones all fell and moved towards the other path leading down to the Inner regions of the Orbital.

At the heart of the giant Gargantua where the Unlocked rode, a large part of the ship removed itself.

It was the main ship of the Unlocked.

Guinevere followed the Thrones that shot ahead of her.

They flew through the large tunnel with great speed.

The tunnel moved straight and then followed a straight drop.

"We're moving in guns blazing! Meryl! Charge up to make an attack!"

"With pleasure!"

A bright light began to fill the entire area as they shot with fast speed.

"Rai!"

"Opening the portal now!" Rai answered, and numerous portals appeared in front of their thrones.

The Void Realm opened, and everyone began to move through it.

At that moment, Render saw the sudden war among the Presiders marching toward Marrho's fortress.

"Are those the Earthlings? Why are they fighting?" Render was confused.

The bizarre action forced him to focus his dimensional power to 'see' the region where Seeker, Vender, and Lowengren fought.

The battle made no sense, and he heard the voice of the broadcast.

"They are there! What's going on? Was the plan to attack these Presiders all along?" Render used his dimensional power to observe the battle as fast as possible.

Three seconds was what it took for him to see who was fighting.

But that three-second decision to watch the battle was critical, allowing Lynd and the rest to move in undetected.

But by then, it was too late!

"...That easy, huh? So Vender's actions have given us quite an advantage!" Lynd smiled as he appeared over the base.

The power of the Thrones created numerous strange lights where wheels were spinning within wheels as he released his multidimensional attack.

BOOOOM!
