Chapter 621: Pridgeon’s Madness
In the darkness of Space, the Orbital continued to move towards Earth.
The chaos within continued, with many clashes and battles occurring.
Rumors of the weakness of the strongest Presiders due to their very eccentric acts of desperation and impatience had caused many of the other Presiders to start testing the waters to see the response of these Presiders.
Before, attacking Render's fortresses was met with great preparations. But the Top Tiers, who were not among the strongest, were now able to fight and invade Render's land and actually deal some damage to him!
It was then that the Presiders realized that these peaks of the Top Tiers were now similar to regular Top Tiers, and thus, another small war began.
But at the start of the second week since the arrival of the Earthlings, a strange broadcast was received.
"Lowengren. I know you are there on the Orbital! I, who experienced your tricks and skills in infiltration and how you led me by the hand! I congratulate you on doing the impossible! I hear that the Top Tiers and even the Principal are affected by your team. I was able to analyze fully what your broadcast was! I know what you were trying to say!" Pridgeon spoke.
"But now, I must call because I am sure that most of the Presiders there underestimate you a lot. Even though me and Alexander, who is an incarnation of a Principal, were defeated by your lot! You who follow the Lost Primordial! Who are Overcomers? People that share Thrones! But among you are those who have Marrho's living Lighting! You have Zetayne Light! And now, you threaten even a Principal!" Pridgeon revealed.
Soon the entire grand cube was shown that towered over the Caliphates, and New Jerusalem was shown.
"And Presiders! Don't think that I am weak! I had killed Presider Crostfree! An incarnation that was supposed to surpass even Presider Marrho! Is that not right, Marrho? I wonder if Prime Defiant is angry!" Pridgeon laughed.
At that point, Pridgeon began to feel powerful. He now had the courage to make such bold moves as a Conqueror would. And this time, it wasn't just for show. Pridgeon's time and experience on Earth had truly molded him to be greater.
Yet despite the shocking words of Pridgeon's claim, it wasn't the most disturbing fact of the call.
Principal Dormin listened and was enraged at the claims of Pridgeon. The worst thing he needed was for someone to instill hope in the other Presiders. Those at the very peak, the four strongest Presiders, would then know that his ability to see through the future and cause even more diversion to what he saw.
"Why? Why? Why has Earth diverged so far from the future that I saw? This was not there in any of the possible futures!" Dormin cursed.
When the Earthlings managed to infiltrate and use Cecilia's broadcast, Dormin didn't act to do anything, as Cecilia succeeded in creating a connection with them.
Cecilia gave subtle reports, but because she was in close proximity to the others, Dormin didn't find it suspicious that Cecilia would only send her messages.
It didn't seem logical for Cecilia to side with Seeker and the rest and betray Dormin. He was a Principal.
But now, that simple broadcast created waves of changes, and with Render being bombarded by attacks from all around, Marrho being attacked, and even Haresha suddenly going off the grid.
Renkerdis was slowly gaining power, and among them, this person who had connections to a Principal was one he was most wary of.
The changes were so immense that the call of Pridgeon itself drove many to question the state of the Presiders on Earth.
Dormin could, however, do nothing. He could not intervene anymore. He allowed the broadcast to be sent to Earth, which allowed another broadcast to be received through the same device Cecilia had.
Renkerdis continued to watch the video that Pridgeon sent and was also bothered by Pridgeon's antics.
"I knew he was weird... but this!" Renkerdis wondered.
WARP!
Renkerdis felt the explosion over him as his own Universe Energy covered the entire area.
Renkerdis expected this to happen and did not attack the intruders.
Two Thrones appeared.
Unlike the last time they visited Renkerdis, they were now appearing with caution.
"It's been twice that you've sought for me, you two!" Renkerdis frowned.
"What the hell... happened?!" Marrho demanded.
"How the hell would I know?!" Renkerdis frowned.
"You were there!"
"I spent most of my time in Uranus and was only able to teleport through a long relay system that could send my team there. So I didn't know Pridgeon very well. He was a Low-Tier Presider!"
"Even low-tier Presiders would not be this... crazy!" Render shouted.
"He's only saying those bold statements because he is on Earth. This is a desperate move to make him rally the Presiders to attack Principal Dormin before moving here. Time will tell if this is arrogance or if those claims of his are because he is a Conqueror. But... I wonder. He is not the only one to have implied this. I wonder if Principal Dormin is truly affected. Remember, Porrelom said something similar. And I've seen the reports about Porrelom. Something about him doesn't feel right. I played the fool back on Earth and nearly died though I gained great things. And I believe Porrleom wouldn't say those things without having any basis for his claims."
"That's what you're concerned about? If I cannot see Destiny, then surely, Principal Dormin is also suffering! But why is Pridgeon naked?!" Marrho demanded.
The video revealed a fully disrobed Pirdgeon making such crazy claims above New Jerusalem.
Renkerdis couldn't answer.
Somewhere within the second layer of the Orbital, Seeker now had a well-guarded fortress of nearly three hundred Pioneers and Planteds. The group watched the video and frowned.
"Alright, first of all, the most important question..."
"Why is he naked?" Madelyne asked. She had severed Pridgeon and couldn't understand why Pridgeon would do such a thing.
"No. That's very obvious." Seeker rejected.
"Right." Meryl nodded her head.
"I have to say, that was very nostalgic," Lourca added.
"What?" Madelyne was confused.
"How is that obvious?!" Cecilia exclaimed.
"Why did Vender's transmission create such a reaction?" Seeker asked.
"...When would Earth have received the signal?" Lowengren asked.
"Around five days since we sent it," Cliff answered.
"Vender got better on the fourth day and is back to his eccentric self... Could it be?" Harker pondered.
"No way! Vender was out of juice when he sent that. This is probably just a coincidence!" Gardo answered.
"... I'd think you'd have been around Vender long enough not to underestimate his power. He can be normal and yet be a zone-breaker. I vote he got his powers back and created a reaction on Earth." Lowengren answered.
"Me too." Lynd raised his hands.
Seeker did as well.
Rai and Jake also followed.
Finally, Irvana did so.
"Then we act as if that is the case. We should note this down. Lowengren, for the benefit of the rest, explains why Pridgeon is naked.
"It has similarities to my stunt, which I did when I also showed myself to be naked back then."
"You both are insane?" Madelyne asked.
"Well, that. But this is a conflicting message. He spoke an outrageous claim that tells us that the Principal is weakened. Of course, no one will believe him because he is naked. But his words were meant to open up this thought to answer for the chaos we've been creating here. But most of all, this is a message that is aiming for Principal Dormin."
"I bet I know what Pridgeon was using to aim at Principal Dormin." Gardo joked.
"Please focus." Lowengren sighed while the others were laughing.
"This is clearly not in Principal Dormin's visions and dreams about the future."
"I mean, I'd be more worried if it was in Dormin's dream," Gardo added.
"Please stop, Gardo! Anyway..." Lowngren spoke again as the rest kept laughing.
"A naked Pridgeon would draw fear to Dormin. This is another victory for us!"
Everyone was looking at Gardo, who looked like he was about to burst from Lowengren's serious words and contained himself from making any more comments.
"Lowengren's right," Lennox spoke. He was the only one, apart from Lowengren, who was not amused.
"I understand. This insanity is not a normal deflection of the future that Principal Dormin saw. If he sees this, he will get worried. Pridgeon would NEVER do this. This would cause Principal Dormin to consider that what's happening on Earth is not as it once was before."
"Correct. And since we've destroyed any attempts to reestablish that strange power that placed a huge camera over the Earth, Dormin has no way to see what had happened. And who knows what Lanterk is doing?"
"So what do WE do?" Meryl asked.
"Seeker?" Lowengren asked.
"...We have another reason to diverge from the future of what he showed Cecilia. We'll aim for another Presider, but now, we attack to kill him! How about an all-out attack to Render tomorrow?"
Cecilia and the rest were surprised.
"Sounds like a plan." Lowengren stood up and walked to the other room, where Vender continued his broadcast. He was unable to continue it for several weeks and only continued a few days ago.
"Once you're done with your broadcast, let me say something."
"And Amir showed his hot, warm, and hulking body to Bella... 'Me, be with you?' Bella asked. 'It's only logical.' The half-Vulcan Jedi answered... And that's all the time we have for you today, folks! But before I end today's broadcast, a word from our sponsors..." Vender handed the microphone to Lowengren.
"The next broadcast will be two days from now if we live. For tomorrow because we will be attacking Marrho. Prime Defiant. Prime Zephirus has an important message for you! We will deliver this message yourself right before we kill you." Lowengren ended the broadcast.
