Chapter 443: Chapter 443 - The Adventures of Naruto Uzumaki 09.

When Naruto arrived at the Village, he was met with a chaotic scene. The Hokage building had already collapsed by that point, while an enormous beast remained before the rubble, roaring before opening its mouth and beginning to suck everything inside with an absurd amount of force.

Even the ANBU team in front of the Hokage began to grow desperate as they tried to resist the powerful suction force.

"Hm!?" Naruto appeared at that moment beside Yamato, who had a kunai marked with the Hiraishin. Even though he had returned on impulse after sensing that something was wrong, he had never imagined he would find the Village in such a state.

Tsunade turned her gaze toward him in surprise. "Naruto?! What are you doing here?!" she shouted, even though the sound was somewhat muffled by the wind.

She was enveloped in the Fox’s red chakra, and Naruto could also see Kakashi, Jiraiya, and Yamato himself wearing the same chakra cloak. His eyes soon turned toward the man who stood atop that enormous beast. However, his gaze never rose above the man’s chin.

"Who is he? Is he Danzou?" Naruto asked, narrowing his eyes. He had never met Danzou in person, so it was only natural that he did not recognize him.

"Naruto, don’t look into his eyes!" Jiraiya shouted immediately.

Naruto remembered very well the conversation he had just had with Jiraiya’s clone on Mount Myōboku and immediately knew that he was standing before the man who possessed that Mangekyō Sharingan.

"Don’t worry, I know." Naruto said in a solemn tone...

"Damn it, Naruto, you weren’t supposed to be here..." Tsunade muttered, knowing there was nothing more she could do to keep him away.

"It’s not like this is out of character for Naruto, Hokage-Sama..." Kakashi couldn’t help but smile beneath his mask. "Besides, this chakra saved us," Kakashi said, looking at the red cloak that still enveloped his body.

He had already understood that, somehow, Naruto must have known something was wrong when this chakra had burst out of them, which had caught everyone by surprise. Even though Yamato had mentioned it during their private meeting yesterday, Kakashi and the others had never imagined that something like this could actually be possible, and it was difficult to believe even while seeing it on themselves...

Naruto had left it within them without them even noticing... No wonder he had appeared at precisely that moment, while the wind began to grow even stronger as everything was sucked into the summon’s mouth.

"I’ll be careful..." Naruto couldn’t help but add without anyone hearing him... he knew he couldn’t risk being controlled by that Sharingan, but he also knew that Danzou needed to look directly into his eyes to do that. So, without looking back in his direction, Naruto simply removed the forehead protector from his forehead and placed it over his own eyes, tying it in place while displaying a smile. "I don’t need my eyes anymore."

His body had been golden ever since he arrived, covered in the Fox’s Chakra Mode since leaving Mount Myōboku.

Danzou observed all of that and couldn’t help but become quite concerned. Tsunade, Kakashi, Yamato, and Jiraiya surrounded by that bijuu chakra and Naruto himself standing in front of everyone with the golden cloak...

Something had certainly gone wrong...

Shortly before that entire battle began, when Tsunade had gone to meet him along with the other two advisors, she had stalled them for hours before finally going to meet them... they immediately tried to pressure her.

Flashback ->

"Tsunade, what are you doing? Something happened to the jinchūriki and you’re acting as if it’s nothing. Without taking him in to investigate what really happened, after just a few conversations you simply believed him?"

Tsunade grew irritated with Homura and clicked her tongue before staring at him. "Don’t come at me with that crap now. Naruto has changed, yes, but he’s still the same Naruto who left the Village for that mission, and I still trust him. That same Naruto will lead this Village one day, whether you like it or not."

Tsunade had always believed that Naruto would achieve his dream. He had proven long ago that he would carry with him the dreams of her former lover and her brother, just as he carried the dreams of all those who had also dreamed of becoming Hokage and carried that same flame within their hearts. She couldn’t simply throw all of that away just because Naruto had changed and now seemed different.

Besides, she believed everything Naruto and Yamato had told them, and he had proven during that morning’s training that he had become even more trustworthy, not trying to hide anything from them and demonstrating all of his new abilities simply because he trusted them.

What kind of Hokage would Tsunade be if she didn’t do the same?

"Tsunade, you’ve gone too far. We cannot accept this," Danzou said.

Tsunade narrowed her eyes as she stared at him. There was no longer any reason to wait. Danzou had called that meeting believing he would be able to corner Naruto so that he would fall into his hands, he even seemed desperate for it... Naruto’s new abilities had probably frightened him...

And yet, it was Danzou who would be cornered here. Therefore, Tsunade simply raised her hand, lifted two fingers, and then turned them downward in Danzou’s direction. Immediately, the room was flooded by several ANBU, surprising the advisors.

"Tsunade! What is this?!" Homura said immediately, glaring angrily at the Hokage.

"Tsunade, do you have any idea what you’re doing? Where is the jinchūriki?" Danzou asked as he looked around. Jiraiya, Yamato, and Kakashi were present, as were Sakura and Sai among the several ANBU who began surrounding the entire room.

"Naruto is somewhere else. After all, I couldn’t risk letting him get near you, not while you possess that eye," Tsunade replied directly to Danzou.

Danzou stared at her with hatred, but inside he was beginning to panic.

How did she know?

Homura tried to speak again, but Tsunade interrupted him. "Shut up." Then she turned to Danzou.

"Danzou, you are being kept under surveillance for several crimes you have committed in the shadows over the years, and we will have to investigate every single one of them. Besides that, you possess Shisui Uchiha’s Mangekyō Sharingan in your right eye, with an ability capable of controlling anyone’s will. We cannot allow you to keep that eye. And then there’s your arm with Mokuton, the result of Orochimaru’s experiments, along with the ten Sharingan implanted in it."

Tsunade spoke each word with growing hatred toward Danzou, especially after learning that her own grandfather’s body had been used in Orochimaru’s experiments with Danzou to increase the power of other ninjas.

Yamato was also a result of those experiments, but Hashirama was still her grandfather, the First Hokage, the man who had helped build that Village and who desired above all else to achieve peace. Tsunade couldn’t even imagine what he would think if he discovered that his own body had become a means of increasing military power for future wars.

Even after his death, Hashirama had been turned into a tool for the Ninja World, of all people, the very man who had sought peace above anything else in that world.

Danzou froze for a moment, as if the ground had vanished beneath his feet. Despite his face still maintaining the same coldness as always, several questions began to arise in his mind. She knew all of that? She knew about his eye, about the modified arm, and even about the ten Sharingan implanted in it? No one was supposed to know about any of that. So, did she also know about Izanagi?

It was at that moment that the conflict began. Before Danzou could react, the ANBU quickly advanced to restrain him under Tsunade’s command, who hadn’t even given him enough time to think properly. All he could do was try to defend himself while the Root members also sprang into action to protect him.

Chaos began immediately, and Danzou, realizing that he was completely surrounded, simply performed a summoning, the Baku, which appeared in the middle of the area and destroyed the Hokage building.

A fierce battle began immediately as Danzou, accompanied by the Root members, tried to find a way out of there. He didn’t know how the situation had reached that point, but he hated it, hated being exposed like that and, above all, that they were now trying to arrest him, without him knowing how they had discovered all of his abilities...

He quickly removed all the restraints from his arm, after all, there was no longer any point in keeping his cards hidden. Danzou fully entered the battle and began using several Wind Release jutsu, catching several ANBU by surprise as screams echoed throughout the area and some of them had their bodies torn apart by the powerful blades of air.

Jiraiya quickly responded with an enormous blast of flames, forcing Danzou to retreat, while Kakashi appeared right afterward using a Lightning jutsu and nearly managed to hit him. Danzou dodged at the last instant and landed a kick on Kakashi, sending him flying away, but Tsunade appeared immediately afterward using her monstrous strength, while Yamato also attacked with Mokuton. Danzou was at a complete disadvantage against the four of them, there was no way to face those four like that.

The Root was holding back the ANBU...

Not knowing how to get out of that situation, Danzou quickly activated Izanagi. He would use that technique to finish all of them off and then take control of the Village if he could reach Naruto. He could claim that Tsunade was conspiring to take complete control of Konoha, perhaps even the Land of Fire, or he could come up with any other excuse later. First, he needed to survive and eliminate everyone standing in his way.

The jinchūriki would still be a problem, but Danzou could control him using his trump card. He had already prepared beforehand to face Naruto if necessary and, if the boy wasn’t there, that probably meant Tsunade and the others didn’t want to risk putting him in front of Danzou precisely because they feared he might be able to control him. To Danzou, that only proved he still had a chance.

After activating Izanagi, Danzou began fighting with far more confidence, advancing directly across the battlefield while everyone watched the Sharingan on his arm without much surprise, only disgust displayed on their faces.

That irritated him, because somehow, they also knew about this technique of his, but now he could fight much more freely, without fear of dying as long as Izanagi remained active. The problem came when Kakashi managed to find an opening and pierced his heart with Raikiri, causing Danzou to die at that very instant before simply disappearing thanks to Izanagi and reappearing behind him.

Danzou didn’t waste the opportunity. He could finally kill Kakashi and take revenge for the many problems that man had caused him over the years. He had always imagined that Kakashi would eventually meet the same fate as his father, and now he could ensure it with his own hands. His kunai moved directly toward the back of Kakashi’s neck, who didn’t have enough time to react, much less use his Mangekyō Sharingan, but at the exact moment the blade was about to strike him, a layer of red chakra appeared around his body. The kunai struck that protection and was unable to penetrate it, leaving Danzou with no choice but to immediately move away as he stared with a certain horror at Kakashi enveloped by that chakra.

"What’s happening?" Danzou murmured, unable to understand what was before his eyes. It was then that he realized it wasn’t just Kakashi. Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Yamato were also beginning to be enveloped by the same red chakra, which emerged from their bodies like a protective cloak.

The four of them seemed surprised by it as well...

"How... How is this possible? How do they have the Fox’s chakra? And why is it protecting all of them?" Danzou questioned in disbelief. With no other choice, he retreated and landed on Baku’s head, causing the enormous summon to open its mouth and begin sucking in everything around it.

It was at that exact moment that Naruto appeared.

Danzou immediately saw an opportunity to turn the tables. From what he had understood, Naruto had gone somewhere to train and returned much more powerful, even gaining control over the Nine-Tailed Fox.

That meant the boy had become a much greater threat than before, but at the same time, he could become his greatest weapon. If he managed to control him, he would have an extension of his own will with all that power and, along with it, control over the Nine-Tails itself. Because of that, Danzou couldn’t help but regain a certain sense of calm. As soon as he managed to make Naruto look into his eyes, it would all be over.

But Naruto simply removed the forehead protector from his forehead and tied it over his own eyes, preventing Danzou from using the very thing he needed to execute Kotoamatsukami.

End of flashback...

And back in the present, Naruto’s next move was immediate. He shot directly toward Baku without showing any fear, while beginning to perform several hand seals. The first thing he needed to do was get that beast out of the middle of the Village, because leaving it there would only continue causing problems and putting everyone around it in danger. Naruto quickly expanded his golden chakra, creating an enormous hand that grabbed the creature while he finished the final seal with his other hand.

Danzou barely had time to react before Baku simply disappeared along with Naruto.

"He teleported the summon?" Jiraiya asked, surprised... Naruto had learned that move from Minato.

At the same time, the center of the battlefield fell silent, with only the sounds of the Root members continuing to clash with the ANBU and other Konoha ninjas around them.

With all that destruction and the Hokage building collapsed, more and more people from the Village began running in that direction to find out what was happening.

As if things weren’t already bad enough for Danzou, Naruto reappeared only a few seconds later.

"Naruto, where did you take that beast?" Yamato asked.

"I used the mark I left at the same place where we reappeared when we returned to the Village. I also left a clone there to eliminate that thing. Now let’s focus on this Danzou," Naruto replied, still with the forehead protector completely covering his eyes.

In the next instant, he simply disappeared from there. Danzou felt his presence vanish and, when he looked up, his eyes widened as he found Naruto above him with a giant Rasengan in his hands, ready to crush him.

"This is way too easy..." Naruto couldn’t help but murmur.

Danzou hadn’t even managed to move from the spot before he was struck by the giant Rasengan, being smashed directly into the rubble of the Hokage building. An enormous explosion engulfed the area, causing the sound of the impact to echo throughout the entire Village.
