Chapter 733: NASM - 733

"Who would have thought they sell so many different things here, and so many of them are things we’ve never even seen before! It’s clear this village is far more prosperous than our own Hidden Leaf Village. Most of these items are rare and unusual things we hardly ever come across... looks like we’re going to end up spending quite a lot of money this time around!" Harumiko said cheerfully as she looked at all the goods displayed along both sides of the street, turning to Hiroshi with a bright smile.

Hiroshi had to admit she had a point, and nodded with a smile. He had noticed the same thing – there were countless things here that he had never seen in his life, even back in his original world.

"You’re absolutely right. It looks like we’re finally going to get to see and experience all sorts of new things. The smaller villages we visited before mostly just sold the same common, everyday items you can find anywhere!" Hiroshi replied with a smile.

Harumiko nodded happily and then asked, "By the way, Hiroshi... did you have things like this in the world you used to live in? Or were they not available there either?"

Hiroshi thought for a few seconds before answering softly, "I was just thinking about it... and no, we definitely didn’t have anything like this there. It seems these are special items unique to this place. But looking around, it’s obvious that most of the people here are travellers from other places, which means they’ve all come specifically to visit this village."

"You’re right, I noticed that too. So many people here are outsiders, and they look completely different from the locals. This place really must be quite famous and popular!" Harumiko said softly with a smile, glancing at all the people walking back and forth along the street.

By now, the two of them had walked right to the centre of the street, where they found the atmosphere far livelier and the crowds much denser. It was clear that this was the busiest and most popular spot in the whole village.

"Wow, there are so many people up ahead! Let’s hurry over and have a look – there are bound to be all kinds of interesting things there. And wherever you go, you always find people performing acrobatics or magic tricks, don’t you?" Hiroshi said with an excited smile.

Harumiko nodded eagerly, and together they quickened their pace and made their way through the crowd towards the centre. As they got closer, they could see that the area was indeed full of energy and laughter – it seemed there was a performance going on, and judging by the constant sounds of amusement, whatever was happening was very funny and entertaining.

"This is wonderful! I never thought we’d get to see acrobats or magicians performing here... but there are so many people around, I can’t see anything at all!" Harumiko said with a sigh, standing on her tiptoes and craning her neck in a vain attempt to catch a glimpse of what was going on inside.

Hearing her words, Hiroshi suddenly reached out and lifted Harumiko up into his arms, holding her high enough that she could clearly see what was happening at the centre. Naturally, this made Harumiko feel quite shy and flustered.

"Hiroshi! What are you doing, lifting me up like this? I feel so embarrassed all of a sudden... there are so many people around us, isn’t this a little inappropriate?" Harumiko whispered softly, looking down at him.

Hiroshi shook his head with a smile and reassured her, "Don’t worry, it’s perfectly fine. This way you’ll be able to see exactly what show they’re putting on. Just enjoy the view, okay? I’ll let you know when I start getting tired, and then you can come back down."

Harumiko nodded shyly in response, then slowly lifted her gaze to look at the performance. Right in the centre, she could see acrobats showing off their skills, and there was also a clown putting on a show beside them. Everything they did was so funny and entertaining, and it was easy to see why the crowd was laughing and enjoying themselves so much.

"This is just perfect! I knew there would be a show going on, and it really is hilarious. They’re like a source of pure happiness. Just seeing something like this makes me feel so relaxed and light, and it helps me forget all my worries and troubles for a while. It really feels like fate brought me to this village for a reason!" Harumiko thought to herself as she watched the performance unfold.

The two of them stood there like that for a very long time. Harumiko was slender and graceful, and her light weight meant Hiroshi was able to hold her up easily without getting tired quickly.

"I never realised how light Harumiko is... though that doesn’t make sense, does it? She has such a lovely figure, I never expected her to weigh so little. I’d guess she’s around fifty-five kilogrammes – not exactly light, but it’s just the kind of weight I like best. After all, girls with a little softness to them are the real beauties!" Hiroshi said softly with a smile, shifting his arms slightly to make himself more comfortable.
