"Alright then, since we’re all ready, let’s head out right now! I’ve been dying to go out and see what this village has to offer – I’m really so curious!" Harumiko nodded excitedly as she stood up, speaking with a bright smile on her face.

It seemed that girls in this world were exactly the same as anywhere else – they absolutely loved going shopping. The moment they heard those two words, it was as if their energy instantly returned to its peak, giving them endless strength to walk around and browse, just like machines that never seemed to run out of power.

"I never realised you girls could be this enthusiastic. Just hearing the word ’shopping’ makes you so excited and happy – it’s completely different from how us guys feel about it!" Hiroshi shook his head gently, thinking to himself.

"It really does seem that way. No matter where you go, there are always more women than men out on the streets. It’s clear that shopping is something girls just love doing. But guys, if we don’t have anything specific to do, we’d much rather stay cooped up at home – we really don’t feel like going out or moving around at all. Lying around and sleeping at home honestly sounds like the perfect way to spend time. I really wonder what goes through girls’ minds to make them feel so differently!" Hiroshi thought to himself, a smile playing on his lips.

Meanwhile, Harumiko quickly tidied up their room, gathered a few essential items they might need, and slowly walked towards the door.

"Okay, I’m all set. Let’s go now!" Harumiko said with a smile, standing by the doorway and looking over at Hiroshi.

Hiroshi nodded happily in response, put his wallet in his pocket, and walked out of the room alongside her. They made sure to lock the door securely behind them before walking out of the inn feeling completely at ease.

"I can’t believe it’s still this hot out here, though I suppose it’s definitely better than it was at noon. After all, it is summer – if it weren’t warm, it would feel no different from spring!" Hiroshi said softly with a slight frown as soon as they stepped out onto the street.

"Actually, I think the temperature is just right. If it were any cooler, it would feel uncomfortable, and if it were any hotter, we’d be feeling sticky and miserable all over. This is honestly the perfect temperature!"

"And we’re not planning to do anything strenuous, so this weather is absolutely ideal for walking around and shopping!" Harumiko said cheerfully as she felt the warmth of the air around her.

Hiroshi nodded with a smile. As they stood there wondering where to start, they noticed that the streets were already bustling with people – most of them adults and young people, while children their age were extremely few and far between. Perhaps it was simply because there was nothing on this street that would appeal to younger children.

"I’ve noticed there aren’t any kids around here – or rather, there are hardly any at all. It seems the places where children like to play must be somewhere other than this street!" Hiroshi said with a smile, turning to Harumiko as he looked at the crowds passing by.

Harumiko nodded in agreement and replied, "Yes, you’re right, it does seem that way. If we want to get to the streets where the children go, we’ll probably have to walk right through this one first. Though looking at how crowded it already is, getting through might be a bit of a challenge!"

"Ah, never mind. Let’s just take our time and wander wherever our feet take us. Besides, we’re not exactly little children anymore, and we don’t really care all that much about the kinds of things kids like to play with anyway!" Hiroshi said with a smile, shaking his head gently as he reached out and took hold of Harumiko’s hand.

Harumiko no longer felt shy or embarrassed when he did this – after everything they had been through together over the past year, holding hands while walking around had become the most natural thing in the world for them.

It was clear that both of them had changed a great deal over these past twelve months, and nowhere was this more obvious than in their relationship, which had deepened and grown far beyond what it had been before.

"Let’s just have a look at what all the shops here are selling first, and we’ll get something to eat later. I’m not feeling hungry yet anyway!" Harumiko said as she walked along, glancing from side to side at the stalls and shops lining the street.

Hiroshi nodded softly and replied with a smile, "Alright, whatever you say goes. We’ve got all the time in the world, so let’s just take it slow and enjoy ourselves. There’s no rush at all – we’ll stop and get something to eat as soon as you feel hungry!"

Harumiko nodded gently, and after that, the two of them happily wandered through the streets together, browsing the shops and picking up all sorts of things that caught their eye.
