My Tribrid System: More than a Monster
Chapter 545: Attack on Abberants (3)
Chapter 543
The battle going on didn’t seem to affect Raze one bit as he calmly sipped his coffee while the resounding quakes and bangs filled his ears, sounding like a lullaby of sorts.
This made him yawn silently as he rubbed his tired eyes.
’Hang on... why the hell did I even bring my axe to this play party? Should have brought my sword instead.’
Taking a swig of his coffee, he cradled the cup in his hand for a moment, feeling its remaining quantity.
’...One-Spines, possibly Two-Spines coming this way or something? This is just one section of the Wall, which means more are still lurking.
Based on my experience, there’s usually an Aberrant more powerful than these guys put in charge of a base. So I wonder what rank the dude will be at. Four or Five-Spined?’
Sipping on his coffee and letting out a satisfied sigh while watching his squad rampage, he nodded sleepily.
"We... yawn... we will just have to see."
Even though it had been a year since the takeover of the Wall, considering the destruction they had caused that day and the fact that they had been living there ever since, the Aberrants hadn’t even made an effort to rebuild the place or make it livable.
The way the whole place had been destroyed a year ago, the same way Ray, Van, and the survivors of Wall Rose had left it, was how it was found.
There was just one slight change.
These same creatures were now occupying the place.
Leaping from rubble to rubble, Felix sped ahead with his arms bulging incredibly as a wide grin stretched across his face.
Weaving between the massive feet of some Aberrants, he blasted off a piece of rubble and rammed his fists into its face with all his might.
The creature was sent crashing backward into the earth, having never expected the werewolf to appear from nowhere.
Jumping away, beams of searing light rained down from Van’s mech suit.
They were almost like laser beams as sections of the suit opened up, raining down beams nonstop.
"Remember this? This was how you bastards laser-beamed our home! Eat this, suckers!" Van screamed as the beams continued raining down from above.
Swinging his fist downward, an Aberrant aimed to crush Caster into the earth.
But the Legacy was nowhere to be seen as a cloud of dust was kicked up.
The next second, the creature collapsed to the ground with a booming thud.
Leaning backward with stunning grace, Trisha watched as an Aberrant’s fist sliced past her face.
From the side, a claw from the same beast hurtled toward her ribs.
CLANG!
A katana appeared in her hand, intercepting the claw strike—a tremor running through her hands from the impact.
Parrying the claw to the side, Trisha kicked the air and leaped higher into the air for a moment, gas spraying as the creature refused to relent.
Its fists and claws lashed through the air repeatedly, yet the girl weaved between the strikes with stunning agility, parrying the hits away with her sword.
Remarkable swordsmanship was on display as she kicked the air behind her for a moment and pounced forward, moving faster than the Aberrant could follow.
STAB!
Her sword slid into its eye before she pulled it back out. Stuck to the blade was something as small as half a finger, thudding like a heart.
Blood oozed from the void in the Aberrant’s head as it stared at Trisha with a stunned look of disbelief before it swayed twice and collapsed backward.
The young woman didn’t waste a second as she moved into action once more.
A crystal platform formed beneath his feet, propelling him higher into the air as he twisted his body to the side, watching as a thick arm rushed past him.
Another platform formed, allowing him to twist his body and bend down as the claws raked past his head.
Then, Kai simply jumped forward.
Crystal spikes materialized in the air, raining down on the Aberrant.
The creature swatted at them with its claws.
However, Kai had already lunged forward, twisting underneath a slam from above before a crystal spear thrust forward, slicing through the creature’s armpit.
With a twist, the Aberrant groaned in pain.
Hand rocketed upward, swiping through the air in an attempt to knock the handsome Legacy out of the sky.
Alas!
Kai was already gone.
He had moved on to the next Aberrant, leaving his previous foe disoriented as it staggered through the air before crashing into an overturned structure.
Then—
A streak of lightning tore across the battlefield.
Ray.
He shot through the air like a living bolt, wrapped in crackling electricity as though he were the God of Thunder himself.
His eyes blazed with lightning while arcs of electricity crawled across his body, sizzling violently and bursting from his skin in heavy sparks that made it nearly impossible for anyone to approach him.
The very air around him seemed to tremble from the sheer amount of electricity radiating from his body.
On his way forward, Ray had uprooted a steel signpost.
Now, the metal was completely wreathed in the same lightning pouring from his body, electricity crawling across its surface in violent arcs.
He raised it above his head.
Below him, a cluster of Aberrants looked up.
One by one, their gazes followed the silver-haired figure descending from the sky, the massive signpost held high above his head.
They didn’t even have time to react.
Ray came crashing down.

"Bring me that mother crusher!" Ray howled.
BOOOOOOM!
He slammed into the earth directly in the middle of the Aberrants.
The ground erupted beneath him.
A violent surge of lightning exploded outward from both the signpost and Ray’s body, generating a devastating omnidirectional discharge that engulfed every Aberrant within his immediate radius.
Crackling energy surged through their bodies.
Lightning crawled through their blood as their massive frames convulsed from the electrical assault before they were blasted in every direction.
The towering creatures flew through the air like helpless rag dolls, their bodies thrown away from the point of impact.
Dust and debris erupted into the air.
A crater ten metres wide had been carved into the earth exactly where Ray had struck.
And at its center—
Ray slowly straightened his body.
Lightning sparkled violently around him, striking the ground beneath his feet as fresh arcs crawled over his arms, shoulders, and chest.
His eyes, which usually carried only subtle traces of lightning, now practically oozed electricity.
Sparks escaped from them.
His chest rose and fell heavily.
Killing intent flooded the entire area.
Ray slowly twisted his head from side to side, searching for his next target.
The moment his eyes locked onto the Aberrants—
CRACK!
Lightning erupted beneath his feet.
His VMS boots activated at the same time, adding their propulsion to the burst of electricity as Ray launched himself into the air.
In a flash, he was upon one of the Aberrants.
The steel signpost swung forward.
SHING!
It slammed into the creature’s neck.
Ray’s momentum carried through the strike as he spun fiercely, tearing the signpost across the Aberrant’s neck.
Its head separated from its body.
Blue blood sprayed through the air as the severed head went flying.
But before it could fall—
A golden lasso shot forward and wrapped around it.
Ray seized control of the momentum, spinning around in midair before violently sending the head hurtling into the distance.
The severed head slammed directly into the chest of another Aberrant.
BAM!
The impact caved its chest inward.
The creature was sent staggering backward as Ray’s golden lasso snapped away, leaving the battlefield filled with the crackle of lightning, the roar of collapsing bodies, and the aftermath of his attack.
