My Taming System Makes Me Overpowered
Chapter 288: The moonlit bathing Pavilions
The calm, indigo stillness of the Garden Realm was broken only by the rhythmic splash of water and the distant, soft notes of Lyrielle’s lyre floating through the warm night air.
At the northern edge of the pavilion complex, Vince had forged a secondary sanctuary—the Moonlit Bathing Pavilions. Carved from pale pearl-stone and surrounded by bioluminescent night-blooms, the sprawling open-air pool was fed by deep underground veins of liquified celestial spirit energy. The glowing silver water glistened like crushed diamonds beneath the twin moons Vince had placed in the sky, reflecting soft beams of pale light across the submerged marble steps.
Vince stood waist-deep near the center of the pool, the cool silver water lapping smoothly against his abs. His broad shoulders flared under the moonlight, and the dark amethyst matrix over his heart pulsed with a slow, mesmerizing glow that turned the surrounding liquid into a swirling halo of deep violet and shimmering silver.
"You built an entire sea of liquid spirit force just for late-night bathing, Sovereign," Vetra purred softly, gliding through the translucent water toward him like a sleek aquatic shadow.
Her dark crimson silk wrap from earlier was long gone. The moonlight danced across the defined, toned curves of her body, highlighting the crimson dragon scales decorating her ribs and spine. She broke the surface directly in front of him, her wet dark hair slicked back, her crimson-gold dragon eyes burning with intense, uninhibited desire. She placed her hands flat against his broad chest, her claws lightly scratching over his skin as her long dragon tail wrapped possessively around his leg underwater.
"Spirit energy relaxes the muscle fibers of high-tier entities, Vetra," Vince replied smoothly, his deep velvet baritone carrying effortlessly through the quiet pavilion. His long, broad fingers reached out, taking a firm grip on her hip and pulling her body flush against his. "And after your performance in the pavilion earlier, I thought you might require some conditioning."
Vetra let out a throaty, breathless laugh, her head tilting back as Vince’s grip tightened on her waist. "Conditioning? Is that what you call turning my bones to absolute liquid, Sovereign? I’m the lead military enforcer of the empire, and you left me completely helpless on those furs."
"Yet here you are, asking for more," Vince murmured, his dark amethyst eyes locking onto hers with a dark, commanding intensity that sent an electric shiver straight down her spine.
"Always," Vetra whispered, her confident smirk melting into pure, hungry submission. She arched her back, pressing her chest against his as her lips captured his in a deep, fiery kiss that tasted of sweet night-nectar and burning passion. Her arms wrapped tightly around his neck, her body completely surrendering to the overwhelming strength of his embrace.
On the submerged marble bench near the edge of the pool, Solaria sat quietly, her slender legs swaying in the glowing water. Her gold gown was soaked through, clinging sheer against her soft skin, while her amber eyes watched Vince and Vetra with deep, affectionate warmth.
Beside her, Elena leaned back against the smooth pearl-stone rim, a crystal goblet of star-nectar held loosely in her fingers. The former chief administrator looked entirely transformed; the severe, analytical tension that had defined her for millennia was completely gone, replaced by a radiant, glowing serenity.
"It is fascinating," Elena murmured softly, taking a slow sip from her chalice as she watched Vetra melt in Vince’s arms. "My previous strategic models predicted that complete conquest would lead to stagnation or boredom. I never factored in the sheer, infinite utility of domestic indulgence."
Solaria giggled softly, leaning her golden head against Elena’s shoulder. "That is because you calculated with logic, Elena, not devotion. The Sovereign didn’t just conquer the multiverses to rule them. He conquered them so we could have this—a home where we never have to let go of him."
"Vince! Look! I made a moon-boat!"
Barnaby’s cheerful voice rang out as the lotus-nexus floated past them on a giant, hollowed-out star-lily leaf, using a woven lotus stem as an oar. Her 100% bloomed Lotus Core hummed with a cheerful, golden radiance that lit up the water around her leaf, causing tiny water-lilies to blossom wherever her vessel drifted.
Lyrielle sat on the pool’s edge near the flower beds, her bare feet dipping into the shimmering water as her delicate fingers plucked a soft, hypnotic melody on her elder-wood lyre. Her silver-white hair hung down to her waist like liquid moonlight, and her violet eyes were fixed on Vince with quiet, eternal adoration as the music wrapped the entire bathing pavilion in a blanket of absolute tranquility.
Vince broke the kiss with Vetra, leaving the dragon-kin enforcer panting softly against his neck, her crimson eyes heavy and glossy with devotion. He turned his head slightly, his dark gaze sweeping over Solaria, Elena, Lyrielle, and Barnaby.
"Elena," Vince called out smoothly, his voice vibrating through the warm night air. "Bring the nectar. You and Solaria belong in the water beside me."
Elena smiled—a rare, dazzling expression of pure happiness—as she set her crystal goblet aside. "At once, my Sovereign."
Solaria didn’t wait a single second, slipping off the marble bench into the deep, glowing water and swimming gracefully toward her master alongside Elena.
Under the peaceful glow of the twin moons, in the heart of the custom paradise he had built with his own hands, Vince drew his queens deeper into his arms, letting the quiet night wash over them in an unbroken, delicious rhythm of unending love and absolute dominion. Solaria reached him first, her golden hair fanning across the silver water as she pressed soft kisses along his jaw. Elena followed close behind, her usual composure melting as she rested her cheek against his other shoulder, fingers tracing the glowing amethyst matrix with quiet reverence. Vetra’s tail tightened possessively around his leg while Barnaby’s little lotus leaf drifted nearer, her cheerful laughter mixing with Lyrielle’s continuing melody. Vince’s free hand slid down Solaria’s soaked back, pulling her flush against his side even as he turned to claim Elena’s mouth in a slow, claiming kiss. The celestial water swirled warmer around their joined bodies, spirit energy seeping into every tense muscle and leaving only liquid surrender. One by one his queens gathered closer, soft sighs and whispered devotion rising with the steam until the entire pavilion felt like an extension of his will—warm, endless, and utterly his.
