My Taming System Makes Me Overpowered

Chapter 287: Twilight over the Oasis

  • Next Chapter

The serene purple twilight of the Garden Realm settled gently over the pavilion, bringing with it a cool, fragrant breeze that rustled the silk drapes of the obsidian dais. High above, the skies bled into deep indigo, displaying a stunning constellation of newborn star-clusters that Vince had shaped to cast a permanent, soothing ambient glow over their secluded paradise.

On the velvet furs of the grand daybed, Elena lay completely spent, her silver hair shimmering like spun starlight against Vince’s broad, bare chest. Her breathing was slow, deep, and rhythmic, her golden eyes half-lidded in a state of absolute, languid contentment. The absolute control she had maintained for thousands of years as the supreme administrator of the empire was nowhere to be found, replaced entirely by the soft, glowing warmth of total surrender.

Vince remained reclined against the dark bolsters, his long, powerful arm wrapped securely around Elena’s waist, keeping her slender body pressed snugly flush against his side. His dark amethyst eyes watched the quiet flutter of the curtains as soft, feminine footsteps approached the elevated dais.

Vetra stepped into the alcove first, her crimson-gold dragon eyes catching the dim starlight. She had shed her usual leather battle gear in favor of a dark crimson silk wrap that hung loosely over her toned hips, leaving her sculpted midriff and glowing dragon markings exposed to the night air. Her heavy dragon-kin tail flicked behind her with lazy, affectionate rhythm.

Close behind her came Solaria, wrapped in a shimmering gold gown that reflected the gentle pulse of the twilight mark over her chest, followed by Lyrielle and Barnaby.

Vetra paused at the foot of the dais, a sharp, wicked smirk pulling at her fangs as her gaze swept over the disheveled furs and Elena’s thoroughly thoroughly thoroughly thoroughly adored, flushed form.

"Well, well," Vetra purred huskily, stepping onto the obsidian platform with quiet, predatory grace. "Looks like our chief administrator finally completed her most important diagnostic of the century. You look completely wrecked, Elena."

Elena didn’t even bother to hide her blush. She merely let out a soft, contented sigh, pressing her face deeper into the crook of Vince’s neck, her arm tightening around his waist. "And every single second of it was infinitely superior to managing an empire, Vetra."

"I told you so," Solaria murmured with a sweet, melodious laugh, gliding up to the side of the daybed. She knelt beside Vince, resting her hands against his knee and looking up at him with amber eyes brimming with unshakeable worship. "Our Sovereign’s touch cures all lingering weariness."

"He’s warm," Barnaby chirped happily, clambering onto the bed without a moment’s hesitation. The small lotus-nexus wriggled her way up under Vince’s free arm, curling into a small ball against his ribs as her 100% bloomed Lotus Core radiated a comforting, golden warmth that filled the alcove with the faint scent of fresh blossoms.

Lyrielle sat near the edge of the dais, bringing forward a silver tray holding goblets of chilled moon-nectar and sweet, crystal-dusted pastries. Her violet eyes locked onto Vince with serene, eternal devotion as she set the tray down. "The evening meal is prepared, my Sovereign. Though if you prefer to remain here in the sanctuary, we are more than content to serve you where you rest."

Vince reached out, his broad hand cupping Solaria’s chin to tilt her face upward, pressing a slow, possessive kiss to her lips that left the former High Priestess breathless and trembling against his leg. His dark amethyst eyes then turned toward Vetra, who was leaning over him from the right, her claws lightly tracing the powerful contours of his chest.

"We have all the time in the multiverse," Vince spoke smoothly, his deep velvet baritone vibrating through the quiet night air, sending a delicious shiver down the spines of every woman in the room. "There is no rush to leave this bed."

Vetra’s crimson-gold eyes flashed with sudden, fiery heat at his words. She slid onto the furs beside him, her supple, toned body pressing flush against his side, her tail coiling tight around his thigh. "Good. Because now that Elena’s had her turn... I believe it’s time the Dragon-kin gets her personal reward, Sovereign."

"You dragon-kin are always so impatient," Lyrielle teased softly, sliding onto the bed alongside Solaria, her silver hair cascading over Vince’s legs as her slender hands began gently massaging his calves.

"Impatient?" Vetra chuckled, nipping playfully at Vince’s collarbone before pressing her hot lips against the pulse in his neck, her breath hitching as his broad hand shifted to grip her hip with unyielding force. "I’ve waited thousands of years to sit at the top of reality with the strongest man in existence. I’m just making up for lost time."

Solaria rested her head against Vince’s chest, her fingers tangling with Elena’s silver hair as the consorts settled into a tight, intimate pile around their sovereign. The dark, comforting aura of Vince’s twilight authority expanded, wrapping around each of them like an unbreakable, warm cocoon.

Outside the Garden Realm, the infinite multiverses turned in absolute, harmonious balance under the undisputed domain of the Sovereign of Creation. But inside the private pavilion, under the starlit sky, Vince pulled his queens closer into his embrace, letting the quiet peace of his empire dissolve into an unbroken, unending night of pure passion and eternal devotion.

As the night deepened, the soft murmurs and low, satisfied purrs inside the pavilion melted into a sweet, intoxicating rhythm. The silver lanterns flickered gently against the obsidian walls, casting long shadows of their entwined forms across the silk furs.

Vince looked down at the women gathered around him—Solaria resting flush against his heart, Elena sleeping peacefully against his chest, Vetra purring deeply at his side, Lyrielle draped across his lap, and Barnaby curled securely at his ribs.

There were no more worlds left to conquer, no ancient entities left to overthrow, and no limits left to break. In the absolute, unyielding sanctuary of his domain, the Sovereign of Creation claimed his eternal prize: a peaceful empire, an unburdened soul, and the unending love of the queens who ruled existence by his side.
