My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!

Chapter 992 - 995: Can You Stop Making a Scene?

"Am I looking pathetic?" Elias Hale seemed to suddenly awaken, touching his face with both hands. The prickly stubble was somewhat rough, and the smell of alcohol overwhelming—he truly was a bit of a mess right now!

Elias Hale ran back to the hotel like a madman, rushing into the bathroom, not caring whether the water was cold or cool, dousing himself with all of it. In his haste, he cut several nicks on his chin with the razor!

"Master, are we really following him at this hour?" Jenson Ona asked impatiently.

"If you don’t want to stay, then leave, but don’t ever claim to be my apprentice afterward!"

"Master, are you admitting it?" Jenson Ona said excitedly.

Melody Thorne snorted with pride; it seemed taking on an apprentice was not a bad idea, even if a bit silly.

"That’s great, Master. I promise I’ll be filial to you from now on."

Melody Thorne: "...Get lost."

The bathroom door swung open with a "whirr," and Elias Hale walked out, his fit physique only wrapped in a towel. His black hair was dripping, and as if he didn’t see the people in the room, he opened the closet and took out a suit, totally unconcerned as he pulled off the towel wrapped around him.

Timmy and Ona quickly stepped in front of Melody Thorne.

"Elias Hale, what do you mean by this, pulling off your towel in front of my master? What the hell, are you implying my master is a pervert?"

Melody Thorne slapped Ona on the back. "Speak properly!"

After dressing, Elias Hale walked towards the hotel exit. His handsome face still bore the traces of being beaten these past two days. Wearing a white suit, he was nobly dissolute.

Melody Thorne and Timmy hurriedly followed him.

They saw Elias Hale stopped at the spot he stood before, only with a change of clothes, and the sky began to sprinkle with rain, hitting his suit.

Ona handed a black umbrella to Melody Thorne and Timmy.

"Elias Hale, can you stop messing around?" Melody Thorne couldn’t take it anymore. If Elias Hale hadn’t saved her life, she wouldn’t bother with him. "Whether you’re waiting for someone or your beloved, or you’re just acting out these days, this self-destructive behavior doesn’t help you at all. If you truly see the person you liked once down this road, and if she liked you too, she would have come out long ago!"

Elias Hale remained unmoved. "I don’t need you to tell me what I need to do!"

Melody Thorne was infuriated by him. "Ona, let’s go, forget about him. Let him be however he wants!"

"Alright."

The rain poured harder, and the clothes Elias Hale had changed into were completely soaked. His leather shoes were drenched through, and the wounds on his body hurt more under the rainfall’s washing.

But he wasn’t the only one in the rain; at the end of the alley, a woman was also caught in the downpour, completely soaked. Leaning against the cold, hard wall, she couldn’t step out.

Like before, she would rush over as soon as she saw Elias Hale.

Her heart, in pain, suffocates!

A "thud" sounded as a heavy body fell.

The tall figure, carrying the burden of two days’ decadence and the wounds from fights, and only drinking alcohol, collapsed on the ground, exhausted.

Selina Sloan watched in panic but dared not approach.

She was scared, scared of being discovered by him again.

This wasn’t what she wanted; what she wanted was just to quietly guard him, it was enough just to watch him, not to reveal her ugly side to him, which was her last bit of dignity.
