My Pervert Sytem
Chapter 190: Forge of Shadows
The politician visibly shrank, his knees knocking together. He nodded frantically, backing away so fast he nearly tripped over his own velvet robes. He signaled his guards and scurried toward the front doors without looking back.
Seraphina let out a long, frustrated sigh. She uncrossed her arms, letting her hands fall to her sides.
“We are going to be dealing with those pathetic leeches all week,” the warlord grumbled, though a proud smile touched her lips. “They smell blood in the water. They know the political structure is fractured.”
A glowing pink box materialized in the air right next to a marble statue of a rearing lion.
[System Notification: The Jealous Lioness]
[Your beautiful commander is stressed by the politics and still annoyed by your pirate flirtations. Remind her who truly holds your attention.]
[Task: Step into her space, trace the edge of her jaw, and tell her she is the only ruler you acknowledge.]
[Reward: +10 Charisma, 300 Shameless Points.]
[Penalty: A localized curse making your hair smell like rotting kelp for three days.]
Leon grinned, embracing the opportunity to soothe her frayed nerves.
He stepped close, gently lifting his hand to trace the delicate line of her jaw. His calloused fingers brushed against her pale skin, sending a warm spark of kinetic friction directly into her nervous system.
Seraphina gasped softly, her violet eyes widening. The volcanic tension draining her energy instantly vanished, replaced by a deep, intoxicating rush of romantic submission.
“You are the only ruler I acknowledge, Seraphina,” Leon whispered, his voice vibrating with undeniable sincerity.
The fierce noblewoman melted into his touch, leaning her head against his palm. A brilliant flush painted her cheeks.

A rush of magnetic charm fortified his presence.
He stepped back, offering her a confident nod before they headed toward the war room to finalize their shadow government.
The capital was theirs, and they had an empire to rebuild before the Obsidian King arrived.
—
The morning sun struggled to penetrate the thick gray smog hanging over the capital’s industrial sector. The air here tasted of burning coal, molten slag, and hot iron.
Leon walked down the soot-stained cobblestone street, his long dark coat billowing behind him. He needed to secure the royal armories. If the Vaelorian fleet was sailing toward the coast, the Vanguard knights defending the harbor required heavy artillery and reinforced armor. The old border-issue gear House Sterling brought with them was insufficient for a full-scale naval war.
Beatrice walked flawlessly by his side. The Ice Queen wore a crisp, tailored dark uniform rather than her traditional maid attire. Her Tier One frost mana passively cooled the oppressive heat radiating from the nearby blast furnaces, providing a comfortable, freezing pocket of air around them.
“The Master of the Forge is a stubborn traditionalist,” Beatrice warned, her piercing blue eyes scanning the massive brick buildings. “He served three different Emperors. He controls the flow of star-metal and runic artillery. If he refuses to recognize our shadow government, the Vanguard will face the invasion under-equipped.”
“Stubborn men just need the right kind of persuasion,” Leon replied, a dark, dangerous spark igniting in his midnight eyes.
They approached a colossal iron building situated at the heart of the district. Massive smokestacks belched thick black clouds into the sky. The deafening clang of heavy hammers striking anvils echoed from within, vibrating through the ground beneath their boots.
Two burly guards wearing heavy leather aprons stood at the entrance. They took one look at Leon’s towering, muscular frame and wisely stepped aside, pulling the heavy sliding doors open without a word of protest.
The interior of the forge was a sprawling, chaotic nightmare of industry. Rivers of molten metal flowed through stone channels. Hundreds of sweating, soot-covered blacksmiths worked tirelessly, shaping glowing steel with rhythmic, punishing strikes.
At the very center of the facility stood the Master of the Forge.
He was a giant of a man, boasting a thick braided beard and arms thicker than tree trunks. He possessed a dense, fiery magical signature, marking him as a Tier Seven Master of earth and fire manipulation. He was currently hammering a massive glowing shield, ignoring the intense heat radiating from the anvil.
Leon walked straight toward the central workstation. Beatrice followed closely, her freezing aura drawing the attention of the surrounding workers. The blacksmiths slowly stopped their hammering, sensing the heavy, intimidating gravity rolling off the uninvited guests.
“Master Ignis,” Leon called out, his voice cutting through the remaining noise.
The giant blacksmith slammed his hammer down one final time before turning around. He wiped his sweating brow with a dirty rag, inspecting Leon with a critical, dismissive glare.
“I heard the Chamberlain got squashed into paste,” Ignis grumbled, his voice sounding like grinding rocks. “And I heard the Silver Lioness is giving orders from the inner keep. But until I see the Emperor’s royal seal on a requisition form, not a single blade leaves this forge.”
“The Emperor is indisposed,” Leon stated smoothly, stopping a few feet away from the anvil. “The Obsidian Kingdom is marching on the coast. I need your artillery mounted on the harbor walls by tomorrow morning.”
Ignis laughed, a booming, arrogant sound. “You think you can just walk into my domain and demand my life’s work? You are a magicless brute wearing fancy clothes. You don’t know the first thing about imperial steel.”
A sleek digital interface popped into existence, hovering right above the glowing hot anvil.
[System Challenge: The Blacksmith’s Pride]
[The old master respects raw physical power and creation. Break his ego by showing him what true density looks like.]
[Action Required: Grab a raw ingot of cooling star-metal from the table. Use pure kinetic pressure to crush it into a perfect sphere with your bare hands, then toss it to him.]
[Reward: +30 Strength, 700 Shameless Points.]
Leon cracked his knuckles, stepping forward. He didn’t even acknowledge the prompt’s penalty; the opportunity to show off was too perfect to ignore.
He reached toward a nearby cooling rack. Sitting on the iron grating was a thick, rectangular ingot of unrefined star-metal. The material was notoriously stubborn, requiring extreme magical heat and hours of punishing labor to shape. It was still glowing a dull cherry red, radiating a blistering temperature that would incinerate a normal man’s flesh.
Leon picked it up with his bare right hand.
Ignis widened his eyes, expecting the arrogant stranger to scream in agony.
Instead, Leon activated Aura Hardening, protecting his skin with a dense layer of kinetic energy. He channeled a massive, overwhelming surge of raw power directly into his fingers. His muscles bulged dangerously, threatening to rip the seams of his dark coat.
He squeezed.
The dense star-metal groaned in structural agony. It folded inward, the tough molecular bonds snapping under the astronomical physical pressure. Leon rolled the cooling metal between his palms, utilizing raw friction and brutal force to mold the stubborn material.
A few seconds later, he casually tossed the object toward the giant blacksmith.
Ignis caught it instinctively. He stared down at his heavy leather gloves in profound shock. The rectangular ingot had been crushed into a flawless, perfectly smooth metallic sphere.
“I know enough about steel to know it breaks when I tell it to,” Leon murmured, projecting a terrifying, unyielding dominance.
The Master of the Forge swallowed hard. His arrogant pride fractured into a million pieces. He looked at the towering brawler, realizing he was standing in the presence of an apex predator who defied the natural laws of magic.

A dense, rushing tide of raw physical strength flooded his nervous system. His bones felt denser, his muscles buzzing with devastating kinetic potential.
“The artillery will be on the harbor walls by midnight, my lord,” Ignis bowed his head, formally surrendering his forge to the shadow government.
Leon offered a satisfied nod, turning away from the anvil. He gestured for Beatrice to follow him back out into the smog-filled streets.
As they walked away from the roaring furnaces, the Ice Queen kept her piercing blue eyes fixed on his broad back. She was trembling slightly, but not from the cold. Watching him casually dominate the stubborn, legendary blacksmith had sent a sharp, intoxicating thrill straight to her core.
Leon noticed her ragged breathing. He stopped in the shadow of a towering brick chimney, turning to face her.
“You did exceptionally well maintaining the perimeter, Beatrice,” Leon praised, his voice dropping into a dark, magnetic register.
He reached out, brushing a stray blonde curl behind her ear. His calloused fingers lingered against her freezing skin, sending a warm spark of kinetic energy down her neck.
Beatrice gasped, her professional demeanor melting instantly. A fierce blush painted her pale cheeks. She leaned into his touch, her eyes fluttering shut as she chased the comforting, blistering heat of his presence.
“I exist only to serve your will, Master,” she breathed weakly, her devotion absolute and unwavering.
Leon smiled a dark, predatory grin. The military supply lines were secured, the loyalties of the capital were solidifying, and his beautiful faction was growing stronger by the hour. The Obsidian King was sailing into a trap, and Leon was going to enjoy springing it.
