1. Ancient-style clothing must be worn on the Meteor University campus.

Lu Shengming listed only these five points. When he was done, he told everyone to return to their rooms and pack their things. Staff members would then go around to collect the non-Soul Energy Items and distribute the ancient-style clothing.

Hearing this, the students had mixed feelings, but most followed Lu Shengming’s instructions and returned to their rooms to prepare.

Li Heng, however, stood rooted to the spot, frowning in thought. He could understand the other conditions, more or less.

There weren’t many non-Soul Energy Items in his medium-sized Space Stone: just a cell phone, a thermos with goji berries steeping inside, a small supply of goji berries, a few articles of clothing, and a bank card.

Not long after he finished sorting his non-Soul Energy Items, there was a knock on the door. It was Lu Shengming, who handed him five sets of ancient-style clothing.

"Li Heng! One of these sets is a perk the university gives to every new student. The other four are part of the admission terms we agreed upon. One of them is top-tier; on campus, a set like this would cost about fifty school credits."

One set was white with a Rarity of "Rare," while the other four were blue and "Common." Their effects were significantly inferior to the Rare one.

Li Heng accepted the clothes, stashed the other four sets in his medium-sized Space Stone, and kept only the white one out.

The first thing Lu Shengming had noticed upon entering the room was the pile of non-Soul Energy Items Li Heng had laid out. Seeing Li Heng’s calm demeanor now—as if he weren’t the least bit curious about the university’s rules—he couldn’t help but praise him inwardly. He then said aloud,

"Li Heng, you’re a Soul Warrior now, so you’ll need Soul Qi Goji Berries for them to have any effect. I happen to have some in my personal collection; I’ll bring you some in a moment."

"Thank you, Teacher Lu! These goji berries are a real lifesaver!" Li Heng’s attention was completely captivated by the mention of goji berries, and he nearly forgot that he had been planning to ask about the university rules.

Lu Shengming then collected all the non-Soul Energy Items and told Li Heng to get ready quickly. As he was leaving, he added a final comment.

"Li Heng! Life at Meteor University will absolutely blow you away! Once again, welcome. We look forward to you expanding the frontiers for Meteor University!"

Lu Shengming was gone, but his words left Li Heng utterly stunned.

He then turned his attention to the set of white robes.

After changing into the white robe, Li Heng took a good look at himself in the room’s mirror. He had to admit, this robe looked much better than his old school uniform.

Then, as if struck by an idea, he drew his Empty Cicada Longsword. He looked at his reflection again, nodded silently, and felt his spirits lift.

Putting everything else aside, one thought surfaced as he looked at his new getup: ’I should have changed my outfit sooner.’

About five minutes after Li Heng had changed, a loud SCREECH echoed from outside, and he felt the Flying Boat begin to ascend.

Feeling the Flying Boat lift off, Li Heng composed himself and walked out onto the deck, ready for his first look at the Meteor University campus.
