The bronze iron gate, the white swing on the lawn in the yard… Even the tall trees within the enclosing wall have been pruned to look just like they did before.

Summer Shawcross sat in her seat, looking at the house through the car window, and her expression suddenly became complex.

How could it be so similar…

She started to wonder if the current owner of this house had any connection to The Shawcross Family…

Otherwise, why would they make the house look like it did in the past.

Thinking this, Summer Shawcross suddenly felt a tightening in her heart, and couldn’t help but push open the car door and step out.

“Ma’am, where are you going?” Katherine Irving also hurriedly got out of the car and followed.

“I want to meet the owner of this house.” Summer Shawcross bit her lip as she spoke, already standing in front of the iron gate.

She stopped, raised her head, and looked at the white building that had been repainted in front of her.

But as she saw the scene inside, her heart, which had been calm for a long time, suddenly became somewhat excited…

This place, she had lived happily here for decades… All her beautiful childhood memories were here.

“Ma’am…” Seeing Summer Shawcross’s expression at this moment, Katherine Irving’s face showed a bit of confusion.

Before she could say anything more, Summer Shawcross suddenly reached out her hand and pressed the doorbell.

The doorbell rang for a while, but no one came to open the door.

Unwilling to give up, Summer Shawcross pressed the doorbell twice more.

Again, it was the same; the yard remained quiet, and no one came out from the house.

Seeing this, Summer Shawcross couldn’t help but be a little stunned.

Could it be that no one is home?

“Ma’am, maybe the homeowner isn’t home. It’s Friday, so he might have gone to work.” Katherine Irving couldn’t help but say.

Hearing Katherine Irving say this, Summer Shawcross bit her lip again, not saying anything, just insistently pressing the doorbell twice more.

Still, no one came to open the door…

She couldn’t help but feel a wave of disappointment in her heart.

“Maybe no one is really home…” She sighed lightly, her heart suddenly full of disappointment.

Suddenly worried, worried that this was just a fleeting moment of joy, thinking that she could finally contact the owner of this house to discuss buying back the old Shawcross mansion.

Summer Shawcross lingered at the old Shawcross mansion’s door for a long time; after a long time, she reluctantly turned around and sighed.

“Forget it, let’s go to Aunt Zhu’s house.” She pursed her lips and suddenly said to Katherine Irving.

With that, she looked up in the direction of the street corner.

“Okay, let’s get in the car first, I’ll drive us over.” Katherine Irving nodded and quickly helped Summer Shawcross open the car door.

Summer Shawcross got into the car somewhat disheartened.

Two minutes later, the car stopped in front of Aunt Zhu’s house.

Summer Shawcross got out of the car, carrying the fruits she bought on the way and some tonics brought from home.

Aunt Zhu told her this news, which was indeed a great help to her. Coming empty-handed would not be appropriate.

Just as Summer Shawcross got out of the car and was about to reach out to press the doorbell, the door of Aunt Zhu’s house suddenly opened from the inside.

A slightly plump, yet smiling middle-aged woman appeared in front of Summer Shawcross.

Upon seeing Summer Shawcross, her face instantly lit up with joy!

“Oh, Summer! It really is you!” Aunt Zhu exclaimed in surprise, glancing over Summer Shawcross a few times, then her expression became even happier, hurriedly praising her.
