Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure

Chapter 1035 - 1034: Afraid to Divorce

  • Next Chapter

Finn Chandler asked curiously, could it be true that Mr. Ford didn’t have much money, and if he divorced Mrs. Ford, he would leave with nothing, ignoring even Julian Ford!

"He seems so tough on the outside, but he really doesn’t have the guts to divorce!"

Julian Ford smiled lightly at the corner of his mouth. In the past, he might not have understood why Mrs. Ford didn’t divorce Mr. Ford, choosing to protect Fiona Ford with him!

Later, when he joined The Ford Corporation and encountered more events and people, he began to see the truth.

No matter how they fought, it was between Mr. and Mrs. Ford, and had nothing to do with him.

"No matter how they fight or change, they will always be Mom and Dad!"

Julian Ford’s words hit the nail on the head, and Finn Chandler nodded, still worried about the conflict between Mr. and Mrs. Ford.

Finn Chandler had no choice but to stand up and go persuade Mrs. Ford.

Just as she reached the living room, she saw Mr. Ford, his face flushed with anger, pointing at Mrs. Ford, "Can’t you give me a break for once!"

"No, I can’t!"

Mrs. Ford replied calmly, giving him a look full of disdain.

"If Fiona returns, there will be no peace in The Ford Family."

"Fiona knows she was wrong, I assure you she won’t have any bad intentions!"

"You can’t assure that!" Mrs. Ford’s attitude remained firm, "No matter how you try to figure this out, I won’t change."

"For her to come back, something major must happen to our family."

Mrs. Ford looked at Mr. Ford, who was obstinately devoted to Fiona Ford, gritting her teeth in anger.

By "something major," she meant separation.

After so many years of enduring each other, she was truly fed up!

"Do you think I wouldn’t dare!"

Fury rose once again to his head, and Mr. Ford shouted, suddenly seeing darkness before his eyes and collapsing straight to the floor.

"Mr. Ford!"

Mrs. Ford, seeing that she had caused him to faint, shouted in a panic.

Standing at the doorway, Finn Chandler quickly looked towards the dining room and saw Julian Ford already stepping over.

"Call the doctor to come over."

Because of Little Bao’s health condition, The Ford Family had a doctor on call.

"No, we have to take him to the hospital."

Mrs. Ford intervened, "This isn’t the first time he has fainted."

The last time, Mr. Ford also fainted.

"Julian, quickly bring the car."

Mrs. Ford corrected herself after speaking, "No, call the hospital; we can’t move your dad’s body."

"Let the doctor come to see what the issue is first, then we’ll take him to the hospital."

Julian Ford suggested again.

"Alright, alright!" Mrs. Ford responded repeatedly.

"Mom, it will be okay."

Finn Chandler consoled Mrs. Ford, who turned to look at her, and Finn noticed Mrs. Ford’s eyes were red.

Though not knowing Mrs. Ford for long, Finn knew she was a resilient woman.

She had never seen Mrs. Ford this anxious, nor had she ever seen her shed tears.

Now, with Mr. Ford lying on the ground, Mrs. Ford, who was always in conflict with him, was crying.

"I’ve always told him to exercise more, but he just wouldn’t listen."

Mrs. Ford didn’t let her tears linger long in her eyes, bowing her head and speaking softly.

Seeing Mrs. Ford like this, Finn suddenly understood why Julian Ford said Mr. Ford and Mrs. Ford couldn’t get divorced.

Perhaps there were many issues between them, especially concerning Fiona Ford, but they had somehow remained together over the years because they couldn’t let each other go.

After Mr. Ford was taken to the hospital, he underwent a full examination, and Mrs. Ford refused to leave even for a moment, waiting for him to come out from inside.
