Chapter 1800: Chapter 461: Tiger Humbled in Flatlands (Part 3)

Enduring the pain as if his bones were about to fall apart, and the burning sensation from overextended muscle fibers, he sprinted madly towards the depths of the jungle.

Roar!

The giant beast behind him immediately discovered his trail, let out a roar, and its four hooves stomped the ground like an uncontrolled heavy battle tank, destroying all obstacles along the way, pursuing relentlessly.

The deafening sound of trees falling accompanied by the cracking of branches and leaves, sticking close behind.

"Cough...Spurt!"

The intense running aggravated his internal injuries, and Tu Hu couldn’t hold back, a mouthful of hot blood spurted from his mouth, splattering on the mottled moss in front.

His vision began to blur, a buzzing rang in his ears, his legs felt as heavy as if they were filled with lead.

He felt the Strength was rapidly draining from this damaged body.

Is it over?

No!

A surge of desperate anger erupted from the depths of his heart.

Just at the moment when the giant beast’s foul-smelling, bloody mouth snapped from the rear side, the instinct to survive overwhelmed all pain.

"Get away!"

Tu Hu let out a hoarse roar, almost unconsciously twisting his waist and turning, pouring all the remaining Strength into his right fist, and swung it fiercely towards the menacing head that was within arm’s reach.

This punch, plain and simple.

But at the moment the fist struck the Bone Spike-covered head.

Bang!

A dull roar exploded.

The air seemed to be compressed by an invisible Strength, a ripple visible to the naked eye spread outward with the fist as the center.

The gigantic beast, weighing several tons and charging fiercely, suddenly froze.

Then, as if struck by an invisible Siege Hammer head-on, let out a painful wail, and its massive body flew backward off the ground.

With a "boom," it crashed into a giant tree behind, requiring several people to encircle, and finally fell to the ground, kicking up clouds of dust and leaves.

Tu Hu maintained his punching posture, standing frozen in place, stunned.

He glanced at his plain and simple fist, then looked at the giant beast far away struggling to get up but unable to steady itself due to its shattered skull, his mind went blank.

This...was accomplished by me?

Who exactly am I?

What kind of Strength is hidden within this body?

The intense pain surged again from within, reminding him of his dire condition.

That punch seemed to have drained his last ounce of Strength, causing his internal injuries to Worsen further.

"I can’t stop."

Though he didn’t understand why he possessed such terrifying Strength, Tu Hu’s rationality remained.

Heaven knows what kind of dreadful things are lurking in this eerie jungle.

With a glance at the temporarily harmless giant beast, he turned without hesitation, dragging his painfully weary body, and staggered into the depths of the jungle.

Priority is to find a relatively safe place to tend to his injuries, and then...try to recover his lost memory.

Holding together his nearly falling-apart body, Tu Hu trudged through the dense jungle, with each footstep unsteady.

His vision grew increasingly blurry, and aside from his own heavy, bellows-like breathing and drum-like heartbeat, he could hardly hear any other sounds.

The twisting pain in his abdomen tightened with each wave, and the sweet metallic taste kept surging to his throat, forcing him to swallow.

Finally, after pushing aside the drooping branches, he saw a cave entrance partially obscured by vines.

The entrance was large, the interior deep, exuding a cool and moist aura.

Tu Hu staggered inside, then leaned back against the cold stone wall and slid to sit on the ground, panting heavily.

Cold sweat soaked his clothes, sticking to his skin, bringing chills.

He could clearly feel the life force of this body draining with each cough.

"I must...stay awake..." he muttered to himself, pinching his thigh hard, trying to use the pain to dispel the wave-like dizziness.

Yet the Darkness seemed like a gentle trap, tempting him to fall.

However, just as his eyelids grew heavy and were about to close.

A faint "rustling" friction sound came from deep within the cave.

Tu Hu jolted awake, the lingering drowsiness instantly dispelled.

He struggled to lift his head, and as his eyes adjusted to the dim cave, he saw a scene that made his scalp tingle.

A creature resembling a spider, as large as a compact car, was slowly crawling out from the shadows deep within the cave.

It had eight jointed limbs covered in bristles, a bloated body, with a shell dark brown blending into the environment.

At the front of its body, several pairs of eerie glowing compound eyes locked onto him, a pair of giant pincers opened and closed, emitting "clicking" sounds.

Evidently, it had marked him, the intruder, as a meal delivered to its doorstep.

"Damn it!" Tu Hu cursed inwardly, struggling to stand, but his weakened body and severe injuries made his movements Slow.

The giant spider wouldn’t give him a chance, its eight legs exerted force, Speed incredible, pouncing like a Shadow, the sharp pincers stabbing straight at Tu Hu’s face.

The instinct to survive once again overwhelmed the pain.

Tu Hu desperately rolled to the side, narrowly dodging the deadly strike.

The pincers struck the stone wall he had leaned against, gouging holes and sending rubble flying.

Tu Hu crawled and stumbled towards the cave entrance, behind him the giant spider let out sharp screeches, pursuing relentlessly.

The foul wind swept in, the disgust-inducing smell nearly suffocating him.

Just as he charged out of the cave, into the slightly brighter forest clearing, Tu Hu felt his feet weaken, triggering his internal injuries, another mouthful of blood was coughed up, and his body staggered.

At that moment of Slowness, behind him came the Breaking Sky sound.

A sticky, tough white spider silk shot out, instantly wrapping around his ankle, a massive pulling force surged, dragging him back to the dark lair.

Tu Hu roared as he was dragged down, gripping the protruding tree roots on the ground tightly, resisting the force behind him.

Even at the end of his rope, the Strength in this broken body was astonishingly strong, it held firm against the giant force behind.

But this Strength was rapidly draining, his body slowly being dragged inch by inch towards the deadly sharp mouth behind.

Despair engulfed Tu Hu’s heart instantaneously.

Is this...the place where I’ll die?

Die in a manner where I don’t even know who I am?

Consciousness began to fade, the scene before him turned into double images.

Just before Tu Hu was about to lose consciousness, he suddenly heard the consecutive Broken Wind sounds.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

As if something sliced through the air at extreme Speed.

Next, came the giant spider’s wretched howling from behind.

The spider silk entangled around his ankle suddenly lost Strength, loosening.

As the Strength dissipated, Tu Hu’s tension and will crumbled, no longer able to resist the overwhelming Fatigue enveloping his entire body.

His head tilted, consciousness fell into endless Darkness.
