Chapter 1799: Chapter 461: Tiger Fallen in the Flatlands (Part 2)

After completing its mission, the teleportation array completely turned into a charred wreckage.

And Tu Hu, who entered the space rift, felt as though he had been thrown into a bizarre and fanciful pipeline.

All around were twisted colorful lines flying backward at high speed, as if countless colors were being mixed and torn here.

His perception became chaotic, the teleportation speed was sometimes fast, sometimes slow, and at times felt stagnant, while a strong sense of dizziness constantly assaulted his consciousness.

What frightened him even more was that outside the colorful tunnel barriers, huge space reverse flow vortices would occasionally appear without warning.

Each close proximity flash would make Tu Hu’s face turn pale.

"Stay calm, stay calm... the sacrificial power can’t be wasted."

He tightly clutched the Dream Weaving Crystal Stone, praying madly in his heart.

He wasn’t truly afraid of death; he feared that the enormous sacrificial power invested would be lost with no return.

Just as he was feeling extremely tense, a soft light suddenly appeared at the end of the path ahead.

"We made it?!" Tu Hu’s heart leaped with joy, as if seeing the shore of hope, his tension somewhat eased.

But just as he wanted to adjust his posture and rush toward the light, an abrupt change occurred.

That ’light’ suddenly swelled and twisted, and inside was not a stable exit but a huge space reverse flow vortex formed by countless space fragments and void energy.

It was like a giant suddenly opening its mouth, and the terrifying suction instantly increased a hundredfold.

Pulling the already fragile passage to pieces.

"Damn, it’s over."

Tu Hu only had time to let out a despairing cry in his heart, and then he completely lost control, instantly engulfed by the irresistible void force.

Afterward, darkness fell before his eyes, and his consciousness went blank.

...

He didn’t know how long had passed when a hot and humid breeze carrying the scent of soil and strange floral fragrance entered his nostrils.

He opened his eyes suddenly, the glaring sunlight penetrated through the overlapping, umbrella-like large leaves, casting mottled and flickering light spots on his face.

Instinctively, he raised his hand to block, only to find his arms incredibly heavy, his muscles sending waves of soreness.

Where is this place?

He strained his arms and sat up, surveying his surroundings.

Everywhere he looked was a primitive wilderness scene.

Towering trees reaching the sky, bark as rough as scales, vines thick as pythons entwining them.

The air was filled with dense white fog, and far away, an unknown beast’s low roar could be heard, the sound penetrating the dense forest, causing leaves to shake rustlingly.

Tu Hu looked down at himself and found his left hand gripping a dazzling gemstone shining with brilliant colors.

He couldn’t help frowning, completely unable to remember its purpose.

Following this was a stronger sense of curiosity.

Who am I?

That question exploded like thunder in his mind, but only provoked hollow echoes.

He forcefully kneaded his temples, trying to grasp at something within the chaotic thoughts.

Name? Identity? Past?

Everything was covered with a thick layer of fog, and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t penetrate it.

He only remembered the last moment before losing consciousness, as if he saw endless darkness, terrifying suction, and... shattered light?

Other than that, it was all blank.

A nameless panic gripped his heart.

He stood up, cautiously observing the surroundings.

The ground beneath his feet was soft and wet, covered with thick falling leaves and moss.

A giant flower taller than himself swayed nearby, its petals showing an eerie purplish-red, emitting a thick exotic fragrance.

Carefully, he took a step forward, the dry branch beneath his foot producing a light "crack," especially distinct amidst the tranquil forest.

Roar!

Suddenly, a deafening roar came from the left side of the dense forest.

Along with the sound of trees being snapped by great force, the ground slightly trembled, and a massive shadow was swiftly approaching.

Tu Hu’s pupils shrank, an intense sense of crisis swept over him.

With no time to think, relying on instinctual reaction, he dashed sideways, rolling beneath a bunch of dense giant fern plants.

Exerting force made his muscles ache terribly.

Almost simultaneously, a giant beast as large as a small hill crashed through layers of vines, arriving at the spot he just stood.

The monster had rock-like rough gray-brown skin, limbs as thick as pillars, and a head covered with menacing bone spikes, revealing dagger-like sharp teeth upon opening its blood-red mouth, with saliva carrying a strong corrosive quality, sizzling the vegetation on the ground.

The beast lowered its head to sniff his remaining scent, its white eyeballs moving as if searching for his whereabouts.

Tu Hu held his breath, curling up in the shadows of the foliage, heart racing.

Yet, his mind was in chaos.

Who am I? Why am I here?

But the memory still offered no answers.

Tu Hu then gritted his teeth, forcibly swallowing the blood-tinged taste in his throat.

Every breath tugged at his chest cavity, causing needle-like pain, as if all his internal organs had been torn by some force.

This realization made him aware that his body was likely riddled with holes, barely able to maintain his actions.

The giant beast impatiently pushed the ground with its bone-spiked head, glancing aimlessly around with its white eyeballs, heavy breaths spewing foul-smelling hot air.

It seemed to have lost its clear target, yet was unwilling to leave, its massive body resembling a moving fortress, blocking most escape routes.

Can’t wait any longer!

Tu Hu seized the opportunity, at the moment the giant beast turned around to kick the ground with its hind limbs, lifting a large patch of soil, he swiftly dashed out.
