At the very moment Aeramis signaled the start of the third trial, Ataraxia took in a deep breath as he sat down cross-legged.
Slowly directing his senses inward, the young man eventually found himself within the world where his energies resided, a vast space of darkness where any of the energies he controlled could appear as long as he thought of it.
’It’s been a while since I’ve been in this place,’ murmured the young man to himself inwardly, feeling a slight sense of nostalgia as he took a look at the parts of the void that contained the mana and Mystic Energy he controlled.
Thanks to him pushing the 81 Phases Mana Reformation Scripture to the 9th level, his mana was a tier above in quality compared to the mana everyone else used. Though it was an inferior version of actual Arcana, powering his skills with it still allowed them to undergo great improvement.
On the other hand, ever since he had attempted fusing mana and Mystic Energy together, his Mystic Energy had remained stagnant at the stage of 1st Cleansing.
Although seeing his Mystic Energy in its current state rekindled his ambition to fuse the two energies into something similar to Prime Azure Energy, the young man decided not to dwell on it for the meantime, considering that he still had to make a movement skill from scratch.
’Now that I think about it, is it possible to draft entire movement skills here before trying them out in the real world?’

As those thoughts popped up in his mind, the young man took in yet another deep breath as he willed his body to move closer towards where his Lesser Arcana could be found.
Feeling his senses gradually get overwhelmed by the power passively emanating from the energy, Ataraxia eventually stopped at a point in the void where his senses and the energy were at an equilibrium, getting the feeling that this balance would improve his chances in creating a powerful movement skill.

Recalling the steps Aeramis taught to him regarding the creation of a movement skill, the young man went ahead and willed part of the Lesser Arcana to move towards where he stood.
Then, bit by bit, he moved the energy according to a certain pattern, using the internal space of his body as reference.
Denoting specific nodes in his body with greater amounts of energy, the young man eventually made an energy construct that resembled the nodes and connections that covered his entire body.
In fact, there were even some parts of the construct that resembled the acupoints and meridians he had opened through his mana circuit, increasing the number of possible paths he could take towards making his movement skill.
’From what Aeramis told me, the first step to making any skill is the corresponding energy circuit that allows the effects to appear,’ murmured Ataraxia to himself, summoning yet another batch of energy towards him before redirecting some of it towards the newly-created construct.
’Since what I’m creating is a movement skill, the final part of the circuit must end at the nodes that correspond to the feet.’
With this thought in mind, the young man slowly directed the energy towards the various nodes, deciding to create a circuit similar to the one the man taught him for the meantime.

Sensing the energy passing through the nodes slowly increase in power, Ataraxia eventually directed it towards the nodes corresponding to its feet, which caused the potency of the energy to quickly improve by 30%.

Seeing that his first unguided attempt at creating a skill’s energy circuit was successful, the young man went ahead and began to modify the circuit he had used, getting the feeling that there were some parts of the circuit that he could improve upon.
And thus, node by node, the young man gradually began to deviate from the energy circuit Aeramis gave him, slowly creating an energy circuit that flowed in a way that more suited the capabilities of his body.
Of course, there were still times where the node he ended up redirecting the energy to was the wrong one. There were also times where the entire circuit began to fail because of his decision to incorporate a few minor nodes into the circuit.
Nevertheless, amidst the failures and mistakes, the young man was still able to create a brand new energy circuit in the end, its final power output around 50% stronger than the first one he made.
Sensing that his compatibility with the energy circuit had greatly improved now that he had tailored it to fit more of his body’s nodes, the young man decided to roll with it as the circuit he would use for his first attempt.
’After the energy circuit, the next step is to create the movements that would accompany the skill,’ murmured Ataraxia to himself, only to still remain within the void after doing so.
That was because, if the personal skill he wanted to create needed to reach the False Intent tier or any higher tier than that, he needed to take an extra step before creating those movements.
That extra step… was none other than the incorporation of a concept into the circuit.
’Which of my Intent Seeds should I go with…?’ asked the young man to himself, briefly bringing up a screen in front of him to take a look at the concepts he comprehended, as well as the stages he reached for said concepts.
Though, considering how much of a strength disparity there was between the two, the young man ended up going with the Intent Seed of Spell Control, seeing as it had already reached the Culmination stage.
’Although I feel like the Intent Seed of True Mana would be more compatible with the circuit, I feel like the Intent Seed of Spell Control wouldn’t be that far off,’ thought Ataraxia, summoning the power of the Intent Seed he had chosen into the void.
’After all, greater control means greater output, right?’

With that thought in mind, the young man slowly directed strands containing the power of his chosen concept towards the energy circuit before him, making sure that both the energy and the concept itself was at the same starting point.
Then, under the control of his thoughts, he had both elements move through the nodes he chosen, which gradually improved their overall strength.

With both the energy and the concept continuing to grow stronger as they passed through more and more of the nodes, the young man felt hopeful that his first attempt at creating a False Intent-tier skill would turn out to be successful.
However, just as the two elements made contact with the final node…
