Maybe I really am a Villian
Chapter 311: Enchantment
Asher walked towards the cafeteria, holding a bottle of apple juice in his hand.
Meanwhile, back in the training room, several students were still struggling to recover from their experience in the test. After facing Asher, some of them needed therapy for the pain they had experienced, while others needed it for the despair they felt after being completely crushed by him.
Of course, that therapy would have to be done by themselves, not by doctors.
The staff members eventually left the training room after announcing the results, bringing the test to an end.
However, among all the students, the one who was the most troubled was Celestine.
She had done something stupid during the test because she had been under the influence of fear, and that might have been the worst decision she could have made.
Her decision was bound to bring her even more trouble, especially when it came to her family.
Her dear brother, Lucian, wouldn’t let such a good opportunity go to waste. He would surely use this incident to make her fall even further in her family’s eyes, just as he had done on previous occasions.
Celestine couldn’t help thinking about what would happen to her once the news reached her family. The thought alone was enough to make her feel even more frustrated, but there was little she could do about it now.
Meanwhile, Asher continued walking towards the cafeteria with his apple juice in hand, taking occasional sips as he moved.
His mind was empty of every thought except eating and enjoying his life.
He had no interest in worrying about what had happened to the other students, nor did he care about the trouble Celestine might face after the test.
For now, all he wanted was to enjoy his food and have a peaceful time.
....
In the Grimwood Continent
Asher’s Shadow vessel moved stealthily along the continent’s shore, slowly making its way into the outer region and towards the forest.
While travelling through the area, Asher encountered numerous low-ranked beasts. However, none of them noticed his presence, allowing him to move through the forest without attracting any unwanted attention.
His Shadow vessel continued moving through the outer region in a circular path, carefully covering the surrounding area as it advanced.
With every step it took, the vessel left behind a trace of its mana, infused with Asher’s will and authority. These traces blended into the surroundings, becoming invisible to ordinary perception and extremely difficult for others to sense.
Even if someone happened to pass through the area, they would have little chance of noticing anything unusual.
Asher’s Shadow vessel continued moving slowly through the continent, leaving behind these traces one after another. Each trace was connected to the others, gradually forming something resembling a vast enchantment spread throughout the forest.
The process continued as the vessel passed through the forest and moved among the beasts, carefully leaving its mana behind without disturbing the natural surroundings.
After travelling some distance, Asher’s Shadow vessel finally stopped.
It then began gathering its mana, and a large black core gradually appeared before it. The core contained the power of Nothing, its darkness seemingly swallowing everything within its reach.
However, that wasn’t all.
A white mist slowly emerged and began mixing with the black core. The black fog represented Nothing, while the white mist represented Asher’s own authority.
The two forces gradually intertwined, spreading throughout the core as the white mist continued to expand.
Asher’s Shadow vessel remained still throughout the process, carefully controlling the mixture until the white mist had completely covered the black fog.
Once the core was fully covered, the vessel slowly lowered it towards the ground.
The moment the core touched the ground, it disappeared.
There was no visible trace left behind, and the surrounding area returned to its previous state, as though nothing had happened there at all.
Asher’s Shadow vessel remained at that spot for a moment, quietly waiting for something to happen.
However, nothing happened.
The forest remained as peaceful as before, and none of the nearby beasts showed any signs of noticing the change.
After waiting a little longer and making sure that nothing unusual had occurred, Asher’s Shadow vessel finally resumed its movement.
It continued travelling through the Grimwood Continent, leaving behind more traces of its mana as it moved deeper into the forest, all while remaining completely unnoticed.
While Asher’s Shadow vessel was slowly creating a large enchantment around the entire Grimwood Continent without being noticed, another one of Asher’s vessels had finally reached the Domain of the Nightmare Saint.
The Domain of the Nightmare Saint was located in the eastern region of the Demon Continent.
Asher’s vessel stopped just outside the domain and looked towards it, observing the strange sight before him.
The entire domain was covered by a mysterious black fog that spread across the surrounding area, making it impossible to see what lay within. The fog appeared almost endless, covering everything inside the domain and giving the entire region an eerie atmosphere.
This wasn’t ordinary fog.
Anything that entered the black fog would immediately come under the influence of the domain, experiencing their worst nightmares. However, that wasn’t all. Those who entered the domain would also experience the nightmares of those who had perished within it.
Over countless years, the nightmares of those who had died inside the domain had become part of its foundation, strengthening its influence and making it even more terrifying for anyone who dared to enter.
The domain wasn’t simply a place where people experienced their own fears. It was a place where countless nightmares had gathered, becoming a part of its very existence.
Asher’s vessel continued looking at the black fog for a moment, seemingly curious about what awaited him inside.
’I wonder what kind of nightmares it has. I hope they’ll at least be fun to experience, though I doubt there’s any nightmare in this domain that could even affect me.’
After thinking about it for a moment.
Without showing the slightest trace of concern, Asher’s vessel spread its wings and flew straight into the domain, allowing the strange black fog to swallow its figure completely.
