Asher smiled at them and then said in an amused tone, "One trash cleaned, two more left."

After that, Asher walked slowly and calmly toward the remaining two students. When Celestine and the other boy noticed him approaching, they couldn’t help but remember what had just happened to Leon.

The fight had ended so quickly that neither of them had even managed to understand how Asher had defeated him. One moment, Leon had been standing in front of Asher with his sword in hand, and the next, he was lying on the ground, unable to continue fighting.

Celestine and the other boy looked at each other, then at the barrier, and finally back at Asher, who was still walking toward them with a smile on his face and a sword in his left hand.

His relaxed expression made it seem as though he wasn’t taking the test seriously at all.

Celestine looked at Asher with her eyes full of anger and fear. However, she couldn’t completely hide the nervousness she felt after witnessing Leon’s defeat.

She could already imagine herself lying helplessly on the ground, unable to continue fighting against him.

She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down before her emotions affected her judgment. She knew that losing her temper would only make things worse, especially against someone like Asher.

Meanwhile, the boy standing beside her continued watching Asher approach.

After witnessing what had happened to Leon, he couldn’t deny that he was afraid. However, he still tried to convince himself that there was nothing to worry about.

’It’s only a virtual world. I’ll only feel some pain, right? It can’t be that bad... right?’ ℯℯ𝑙.

He swallowed nervously before tightening his grip on his sword.

Despite his fear, he decided to make the first move. Rather than waiting for Asher to approach any further, the boy suddenly lunged towards him, holding his sword firmly in both hands.

He quickly reached Asher and swung his sword downwards in a vertical arc, aiming directly at Asher’s chest.

Asher calmly raised his own sword and blocked the incoming attack.

The moment their blades collided, Asher raised his leg and struck the boy’s sword hand, causing his grip to loosen.

That was all Asher needed.

He immediately struck the boy’s sword with full force, sending it flying away from his hands.

The boy was left in shock for a moment, unable to believe how easily Asher had disarmed him.

Before he could think any further, Asher’s sword moved again, striking towards his wrist.

The boy barely had time to react before Asher continued his attack, leaving him with no opportunity to regain his composure.

The sword sliced towards his wrist, and before he could back off, both of his hands fell to the ground, and his arm started bleeding from his wrist in a stream of blood.

The boy looked at his wrist with a blank expression, then at Asher, and then he screamed in pain.

AAAH!

It hurts way more than he expected. While screaming, the boy stared at Asher with eyes full of fear and then tried moving backward, but then Asher swung his sword again, and this time the sword swung in a horizontal arc toward the boy’s eyes and then sliced through both of his eyes.

Then the boy had just lost his hands, and just after his hands, he lost both of his eyes, and the only thing he could do was suffer and cry in pain.

The boy couldn’t see anything, so he just thought of moving backward and decided to move backward away from Asher, but just when he tried to move back, something sharp struck his legs, and then, before he could understand, he fell to the ground, with both his legs cut in two pieces.

The boy screamed in pain, and then tried to crawl away from there; as he tried to move, the blood kept bleeding from his arms and his legs.

The boy felt more pain as blood continued to flow from his wounds, increasing his blood loss and making his thoughts increasingly sluggish. His movements were becoming slower, and it was getting harder for him to concentrate on what was happening around him.

Meanwhile, Asher was still standing with a calm expression, showing no sign of worry on his face.

He looked at the boy for a moment before suddenly moving back and blocking a strike aimed at his head from behind.

After blocking the attack, Asher turned his head and looked at the person who had just tried to ambush him.

It was Celestine.

As soon as she realized that Asher had blocked her surprise attack, her expression turned ugly. She immediately pulled back her sword before thrusting it straight towards Asher’s face, hoping to catch him off guard with another quick attack.

However, Asher simply looked at the incoming thrust and tilted his head slightly to the side.

The sword passed through the air, missing his face by a narrow margin.

In the next instant, Asher clenched his free hand into a fist and punched Celestine directly in the stomach.

As soon as the punch connected, Celestine tried to retreat, hoping to create some distance between them. However, while she was moving backwards, Asher struck her shoulder with his sword, preventing her from escaping unharmed.

The sword struck her shoulder, making Celestine grimace, but it wasn’t a clean cut; it was still a deep cut, but not enough to cut her arm free from her body. She couldn’t use her one shoulder now, and then Asher released a barrage of sword strikes at her. She tried her best to block, but she still couldn’t block them all.

She gave an opening, and Asher didn’t miss it. He struck at her already wounded shoulder; the sword dug deep into her shoulder, and then her whole arm fell to the ground as Asher cut it from her shoulder.

Celestine grimaced and then tried to retreat. Asher let her, not trying to stop her.
