Only then did the two students realize that someone else had entered the area. Both of them immediately turned their attention toward Asher, and their expressions changed when they recognized the person standing in front of them.

Asher casually looked at both of them and smiled.

“Well, what a coincidence.”

Noah and Adam looked at Asher and then, Noah gave him a forced smile.

Noah was the first to speak.

“Yeah, what a coincidence. All three of us just decided to take this area.”

Asher nodded casually. He then raised his sword and pointed it toward Noah.

“So, ready to fight now?”

Noah didn’t say anything for a moment. He simply continued giving Asher the same forced smile, clearly trying to think of something to say.

He was just about to speak when Adam suddenly interrupted him.

“Yeah, we are ready.”

Adam’s tone was slightly confident, even though his expression clearly showed that he wasn’t nearly as confident as his voice suggested.

Asher moved his gaze away from Noah and toward Adam after hearing him.

Adam continued, his tone becoming a little more excited and angry.

“Today shall be the day I show you that I am not useless.”

He then looked at Noah and stared at him for a moment.

Noah looked back at him, slightly confused by what Adam was about to say.

Adam seemed to think about his next words for a moment before finally speaking again.

“And maybe Noah is not a Fool either.”

There was a short silence.

…

Asher simply nodded.

“Okay.”

Noah looked at Adam with a complex expression before his face slowly turned angry.

“Bastard, why did you take a pause?! And what do you mean by ‘maybe’?! I am not a Fool!”

Asher and Adam both stared at Noah.

Neither of them looked convinced by his words in the slightest.

Noah noticed their expressions but continued anyway.

“I am the most handsome, kind, smart hero in this world that everyone loves.”

.

.

.

Adam stared at Noah for a moment.

His expression slowly changed into one that made it look like he genuinely wanted to throw up.

“How can someone even say that with a straight face? Even I am feeling second-hand embarrassment from what you just said.”

Asher didn’t say anything about Noah’s statement. He simply looked at both of them, then raised his sword slightly.

“Enough talk. Let’s finish this now. I have to rest after this fight.”

Adam raised his sword as well, ready to fight Asher. He then looked at Noah and spoke with confidence, “Noah, let’s go. Together, we’ll defeat this idiot today and take our revenge for all those months of ragebaiting at once.”

Noah tightened his grip around his spear. He looked at Adam with a serious expression before slowly moving his gaze toward Asher.

He stared at Asher for a few seconds. Then he suddenly looked down at his wrist.

Adam watched him with a confused expression, wondering what Noah was doing. Noah looked at his wrist again before raising his head and looking at Adam. He then gave a helpless smile.

“Sorry, guys, I can’t play. My mother told me to come home early today.”

“Huh…?”

“Huh…?”

Both Asher and Adam stared at Noah. Their expressions became strange as they tried to understand what he had just said.

Noah, however, completely ignored their reactions. “So you guys continue. I have to go home now.”

He casually waved his hand toward them before slowly starting to walk toward the Barrier.

Asher and Adam stood there and watched him. Neither of them moved.

Both wore expressions of complete disbelief. Noah continued walking as if nothing strange had happened.

He slowly moved farther away from them, getting closer and closer to the Barrier.

Asher narrowed his eyes slightly while Adam continued staring at Noah.

Then, when Noah reached a little distance away from them, his entire attitude suddenly changed.

He stopped pretending to walk casually.

He suddenly turned around and started running toward the Barrier with all his strength.

“Hehe! Stupid Adam! There is no way I’m going to fight that crazy idiot! I’m not a Fool! You can fight him alone and get your limbs cut!”

Adam didn’t show any anger at Noah mocking him, instead he just looked at Noah with even more confusion.

Asher calmly stared at Noah as Noah desperately sprinted toward the Barrier.

Noah continued running as fast as he could while shouting.”I am not staying here! You can deal with him yourself!”

He then looked ahead and saw that the Barrier was only a few meters away.

A huge smile appeared on his face.

“I’m going to escape now.”

With those words, Noah jumped forward, trying to cross through the Barrier.

However…

BAM!

His body suddenly collided head-on with the Barrier.

The invisible force stopped him instantly and sent him falling backward onto the ground.

Noah remained on the ground for a moment, completely stunned.

Adam stared at him in silence.

Asher also looked at Noah with a strange expression.

Noah looked at the Barrier while lying on the ground with a confused expression. He then looked between Adam and Asher before finally asking, “We can’t escape from the Barrier if there are multiple people inside?”

Adam looked at Noah with a slightly confused expression and asked, “Didn’t you know that already?”

Noah stared at Adam for a moment without saying anything. He then slowly stood up from the ground and brushed himself off.

He raised one hand and clutched his forehead, which was starting to hurt from the collision with the Barrier.

“Ah, I didn’t. I was always alone inside the Barrier, so I never noticed it. I thought we could escape from it.”

Adam stared at Noah for a few seconds.

Asher looked at him silently, wondering how Noah was so lucky.

Noah noticed their expressions and awkwardly looked away.

“I mean, how was I supposed to know? I never tried to leave before.”

Adam sighed and shook his head.

“You really are a Fool.”
