Chapter 129: Chapter 129: Curious Minds

"Huh?"

Quill looked completely dumbfounded.

"The kind of android you slept with, obviously!" Since he had already brought it up, Daniel abandoned his hesitation and spoke with complete frankness.

"You want...?" Quill stared at Daniel in sheer shock.

Crack!

Something inside Quill’s heart shattered completely!

To be perfectly honest, after spending the past few days together, Daniel’s image in Quill’s heart had been rather grand and imposing.

Powerful, invincible, and someone who had casually crushed Yondu with absolute ease. To him, Daniel was simply unbeatable.

Now, that image completely collapsed. Daniel was actually looking for that kind of android! This completely contradicted his character archetype!

Even if he really needed to scratch that itch, there was no need to look for an android, right? Wouldn’t a real person be much better?

...

However, now that Daniel had asked, Quill felt his own interest being piqued too! At his age, his energy levels were naturally at their absolute peak.

"Let me look around. Usually, these kinds of places are..." Quill began scanning their surroundings.

"No need, I’ve already found it." Daniel grabbed Quill and led him straight inside. He had just utilized his X-ray vision and super sight, completely mapping out the entire area.

Before long, the two arrived in front of a building bathed in flashy, neon lights.

"This is the place," Daniel remarked, staring at the structure.

"What model of android do you think we should order later?" Quill asked, rubbing his hands together in pure excitement.

"How should I know?" Daniel shot Quill a look, countering, "I just left Earth!"

"How about the C-1 model? I heard those are incredibly wild. Everyone who uses them gives rave reviews!" Quill asked, seeking Daniel’s input.

"Doesn’t matter to me. I’m just curious, nothing more." Daniel emphasized.

"I get it, I get it. I’m just curious too!" Quill flashed a deeply sleazy grin.

"Hello, esteemed guests. How may I be of service to you today?"

The moment they stepped through the door, a green-skinned alien dressed in clothing similar to an Earth tuxedo approached them.

His two eyes took up half of his face, he lacked eyebrows and a nose, and his skin was covered in deep wrinkles. Aside from his eyes, the only prominent feature left on his face was a massive mouth.

"My name is Timo. It is a great pleasure to serve you!" The green-skinned Timo behaved with utmost politeness.

Daniel turned his gaze toward Quill.

Quill took a step forward and spoke up, flashing a series of suggestive winks. "We need two androids that can bring us some ’pleasure.’"

"Oh... I understand perfectly. You are looking for our pleasure-model androids?" Timo asked, clapping his hands together.

"Yes, yes! The pleasure models!" Quill nodded frantically.

"Please follow me," Timo said, turning around to lead the way. Daniel and Quill closely followed behind.

The three of them passed through the main hall and entered a luxurious suite.

"What specific models do you require? We have every single variation available here," the alien inquired.

"The absolute best!" Daniel stated.

"Understood. Please wait a moment." Timo bowed deeply before backing out of the room.

Once Timo left, Daniel stared intently at Quill.

"This is your first time too, isn’t it?" Daniel asked.

Quill let out two awkward chuckles. "Ahem... well, Yondu never let me touch them before. He kept saying I was too young, so I could only watch!"

Catching the deeply skeptical look in Daniel’s eyes, Quill immediately explained further in a hushed whisper.

"But I have plenty of experience! I possess a wealth of theoretical knowledge! I’ve secretly watched Yondu and the others at least a few hundred times..."

Daniel cast a look of sheer disgust at Quill. "You disgusting creep!"

A few minutes later, Timo reappeared before the two of them. A few Vrellnexians followed closely behind him, carrying over a dozen different female androids into the room.

They were all human-shaped androids without any bizarre or monstrous features. The only difference was their skin colors, which ranged from red to green and purple.

"Both of our guests are humanoid organisms, so the models I brought out are of similar configurations. Of course, if you possess any eccentric preferences, we also have beast-like models and various other appearances available!" Timo took the liberty to explain.

"This works perfectly," Daniel spoke up.

"Please allow me to introduce them to you." Timo pointed toward a blue-skinned android on his right-hand side. "This is Annie. She just arrived, so she has never taken a guest before."

Daniel stared at Annie. Her eyes were closed, her features were delicate, and her long hair framed her face. Aside from her skin color, she looked almost identical to a human woman from Earth.

"This is Miduo... This is Weier..."

Timo introduced them one by one. In the end, Daniel selected Annie, whom Timo had mentioned first, while Quill chose a green-skinned android named Dora.

"I wish you both an incredibly pleasant evening!" Seeing that they had made their choices, Timo led his crew out of the suite.

This left only Daniel and Quill staring blankly at one another. The two female androids had not been activated yet and remained in a standby state.

"Well then, shall we head back to our respective rooms?" Quill spoke up, his eyes locked entirely onto his Dora as his hands already began wandering over her body.

"Alright!" Daniel nodded.

The moment the words left his mouth, Quill hoisted Dora over his shoulder and charged straight into one of the rooms...

"Heh!"

Daniel let out a scoff of utter disdain, then lifted Annie up and headed into his own room. The moment he entered, Daniel activated Annie.

"Hello, I am Annie," she spoke smoothly upon booting up.

Staring at Annie, Daniel suddenly found himself deeply conflicted.

’Is it really alright to do this?’ he questioned himself. ’Susan is still waiting for me back on Earth. Doesn’t this count as cheating on her?’

Across both his past life and his present one, Daniel had never once been unfaithful. This was his absolute first time, and he was completely getting cold feet.

"Do you require my services?" Annie’s sweet voice echoed right beside Daniel’s ear. "I am exceptionally skilled at serving men."

The female android was far too lifelike. Daniel could actually feel the warm breath brushing against his ear as she spoke, throwing his mind into absolute chaos.

’To hell with it! An android isn’t a real human! I’m just curious! Seriously!’ Daniel wrapped his arms around Annie.

.....

When Daniel and Quill ran into each other again, it was already the following day. Quill hadn’t stepped foot out of his room the entire yesterday.

Meeting again, Quill was clutching his lower back, the dark circles under his eyes incredibly deep. It was painfully obvious that he hadn’t gotten a single bit of proper rest.

"You really need to take better care of yourself," Daniel said seriously. "You know, when you’re young, it’s easy to overdo it..."

Quill shot Daniel an irritated glare. "It’s not like you left your room either!"

"I am entirely different from you!" Daniel countered.

"What’s so different? Didn’t you do it too?" Quill fired back.

Daniel extended a single finger. "My physical constitution is countless times superior to yours! Second of all, I didn’t do it!"

"Oh, please!" Quill didn’t believe a word. He figured Daniel had done the deed but just refused to admit it.

"By the way, I actually have a question for you." Daniel stopped arguing over whether he did it or not and shifted the subject.

"What’s wrong?" Quill looked at Daniel.

"Come with me." Daniel dragged Quill straight into his room.

The moment they stepped through the door, Quill saw mechanical components and parts scattered all over the floor.

"You... you broke her?!" Quill looked at Daniel in absolute disbelief.

Daniel smacked him upside the head. "What are you thinking?! I already told you, I didn’t do it! I dismantled her because I wanted to inspect her internal structural layout. Is this thing expensive?" Daniel asked.

"This is the latest model. It costs at least fifty thousand credits," Quill stated.

"Do you have fifty thousand credits?"

"Me?" Quill pointed a finger at himself. "How could I possibly have that kind of money?"

"I don’t have any money either. What do we do now?" Daniel spread his hands.

He felt a little embarrassed. Coming out to do this sort of thing only to end up bringing absolutely no money, what did this count as? Just getting a free handout?
