"Hahahahaha!"

Yondu and his crew laughed so hard that tears almost came to their eyes. What on earth did they just hear? Someone was actually requesting to have a leg broken?

"You think we won’t do it?" Yondu’s voice turned cold. "Tell him, who are we?"

"Ravagers!"

"Cold-blooded killers!"

"Bandits!"

The crew members chimed in all at once, shouting over each other.

"Scums!"

Hearing this word, everyone stopped and looked over. Within Yondu’s crew a one-eyed alien had spoken up.

Seeing everyone staring at him, he asked weakly, "What’s wrong?"

"Pfft!"

Daniel couldn’t help but burst out laughing.

Yondu’s expression darkened. With a flick of his hand, the idiot who had shouted "scum" was dragged out of sight.

"When you have too many men under you, there are bound to be a few idiots!" Yondu remarked.

Daniel shrugged. "Come on, break my leg already!"

"As you wish!" Yondu thought this guy was completely unhinged, but since he asked for it so politely, it would be rude not to oblige!

Whew! Whew!

Yondu whistled. Responding to the sound, a metallic arrow rose into the air, turning into a streak of red light as it shot straight toward Daniel’s legs.

Clang!

The impact was like two massive forces colliding, creating a deafening sound that echoed far and wide.

Then came the sound of the flying arrow clattering onto the floorboards.

The arrowhead was completely bent.

"Looks like this arrow isn’t as pierce-anything as you claimed!" Daniel patted Quill on the head.

"Looks like this arrow isn’t quite as unstoppable as you claimed!" Daniel patted Quill on the head. "At the very least, it doesn’t seem to have pierced through my legs."

"That’s impossible!" Yondu cried out in shock.

Whew! Whew! Whew! Whew!

Yondu whistled frantically, but there was absolutely no response.

Daniel bent down and picked up the flying arrow. "It looks like it’s broken!"

He gestured for Yondu to look at the bent arrowhead.

"Is it because it’s been used for too long?" Daniel asked earnestly. "Usually, high-tech products tend to act up easily once they are past their warranty period!"

Quill stared at Daniel in sheer awe.

He had been completely proven wrong! He originally thought Daniel was strong enough, but he never expected him to be this terrifyingly powerful!

’Looks like I won’t have to go back anytime soon!’ Quill thought to himself.

Yondu looked utterly incredulous, and so did the lackeys behind him.

They had followed Yondu for so many years; how could they not know the deadliness of his flying arrow? This arrow had literally pierced through spaceships before! Even the most advanced starships couldn’t withstand its might!

And now it can’t even pierce through a living being’s leg? You’ve got to be kidding me. Is this some kind of dream?

They rubbed their eyes and looked at the arrowhead again. It was indeed bent out of shape.

An ominous feeling crept into Yondu and his men’s hearts. They were probably in deep trouble! If even the flying arrow couldn’t pierce him, would the weapons in their hands be of any use? They were far inferior to the flying arrow!

"Do you know why the Kree put a hundred-million bounty on my head?" Daniel asked with a smile.

The crowd, including Quill, shook their heads one after another.

"Why?"

"Nope, not telling you! Haha." Daniel was clearly enjoying himself. "You can go ask the Kree yourselves."

Daniel imagined what would happen if they actually went to ask the Kree. With how much the Kree hated him, they’d probably get beaten up the moment they showed their faces. The thought alone was hilarious.

"Now then, do you still want to break my leg and take me to the Kree?" Daniel looked at Yondu.

Before Yondu could even speak, the men behind him shook their heads in unison. With this kind of combat power, the guy would probably tear their spaceship to pieces!

"So, can I borrow him now?" Daniel asked, pointing at Quill.

Yondu looked at Daniel, then back at Quill.

Quill gave him a barely perceptible nod, only then did Yondu give a difficult nod of agreement.

"Much appreciated. Here, back to you." Daniel tossed the arrow back to Yondu.

"Do I need to invite you all for tea?" Daniel asked when he saw that Yondu and his men weren’t moving.

Another synchronized shake of their heads.

"No need, no need!"

"Well then, shall I see you out?" Daniel extended an arm, pointing toward the exit.

"Goodbye, everyone!" Daniel called out, waving his hand at the airlock door.

Nobody paid attention to him. Yondu and his crew only wanted to leave as fast as possible.

"Whew..."

Once they were safely back on their ship, Yondu and his men breathed a collective sigh of relief, wiping the sweat from their foreheads. They had been scared out of their minds.

"I did say I would see you off on your journey."

Just as they relaxed, they suddenly heard Daniel’s voice again.

Looking up, they saw Daniel floating in open space without any protective gear whatsoever.

"Bye-bye!"

Daniel waved again, then flew right behind the stern of Yondu’s spaceship.

Bam!

Daniel delivered a swift kick to the spaceship, and it began spinning frantically out of control.

"Ahhhh!"

The people inside were thrown all over the place, tumbling head over heels.

Bam!

Daniel delivered another kick.

This time, Daniel timed it perfectly with his eyes and feet, striking right at the center of the spinning spaceship. The vessel instantly transformed into a streak of light and vanished into the distance.

"Job well done, time to wrap it up!"

Daniel flew back into his own spaceship.

Quill stared at Daniel with an expression like he was looking at a freak of nature.

"What’s wrong? Do I have dirt on me?" Daniel asked.

Quill shook his head, then asked, "Are you really a human?"

The spaceship jumped out of a strange, unfamiliar sector of space. After navigating through a dense asteroid belt, a colorful, dreamlike nebula came into view.

More importantly, right in the center of the nebula, a massive, severed skull floated quietly in the void.

"This is Knowhere?" Daniel looked at Quill.

"Yes!" Quill nodded. "I’ve seen pictures of this place on Yondu’s ship."

"Wow, it really is... spectacular!" Daniel marveled.

"Supposedly, it’s the head of an ancient cosmic being."

"Then it must have been massive!" Daniel made a rather silly observation. "Too bad he died so early, otherwise, I could have challenged him to a fight!" Daniel felt it was a bit of a shame.

Quill gave Daniel a look that said he was completely overestimating himself.

"Just his head is as big as a planet!"

"So what? I could blow up a planet with one punch!" Daniel replied confidently.

"Yeah, yeah. Keep bragging." Quill rolled his eyes.

The spaceship flew past a mining area.

"For hundreds of years, the Tivan Group has been mining the organic matter, bone marrow, blood, and tissues of this skull. These things fetch a fortune on the black market!" Quill continued to explain.

"Are they this valuable?"

"Yeah."

"Then we’ll grab some later too," Daniel said.

"This stuff belongs to the Tivan Group, and if we get caught, we’re dead!"

"What’s there to fear? You have me!"

Quill thought about Daniel’s terrifying combat power, and his eyes lit up.

"There’s a way!"

With Daniel being this powerful, the two of them could just grab the goods and run. The Tivan Group wouldn’t be able to do anything to them anyway.

"Alright!" Quill nodded in agreement.

"Knowhere is a lawless place. It’s full of thugs and criminals, so you won’t find many good people around here. Except for the two of us, of course!" Quill continued explaining the place to Daniel.

Daniel completely agreed. "Yeah, there aren’t many people left with such excellent character like me!"

"This place gathers entertainment facilities from all over the universe. Whatever exists outside can be found here, and even things that don’t exist outside can be found here too!" Quill told Daniel after they stepped off the spaceship.

Hearing this, Daniel suddenly got a bit excited.

"Are the androids you mentioned available here too?" Daniel asked.

"What androids?" Quill looked entirely puzzled.

"You know, that, that kind!" Daniel felt a little embarrassed to say it out loud.

"What do you mean, this or that?"

"The ones you mentioned... the androids you slept with..."
