Chapter 799: Chapter 398: New Body and Clone!

In the Cultivation Room of the Hall of Ten Thousand Races.

The Spiritual Qi surrounding Cheng Zongyang had reached the pinnacle of density, almost solidifying into physical substance. Five-colored light flickered around his body, growing brighter and brighter. Suddenly, a resonant boom echoed from within him, ringing like a massive temple bell. It was as if he had just unleashed the very first sound of the universe’s creation.

His aura surged violently as a surge of immense Power erupted from his Dantian. Inside Cheng Zongyang’s Dantian, his Golden Core shattered with a loud bang, and a tiny Nascent Soul began to take shape. This Nascent Soul bore a striking resemblance to Cheng Zongyang himself. It radiated a dazzling five-colored light, shining so brightly it looked like a burning five-colored flame.

The fragments of the shattered Golden Core quickly dissolved into pure Spiritual Power, which the tiny Nascent Soul eagerly absorbed. It consumed the Energy much like a newly hatched creature eating its eggshell to replenish its strength. As time passed, fueled by the Golden Core fragments, the Nascent Soul’s facial features grew distinct and its body became increasingly solid. At first, it was merely a faint outline, but its colors gradually deepened. It transitioned from blurry to clear, from illusory to real, as it slowly moved from his Lower Dantian up to the middle Dantian space in his chest.

Cheng Zongyang’s consciousness closely guarded this newly born Nascent Soul. Meanwhile, the almost physical Spiritual Qi surrounding him outside acted like a reservoir filled to its absolute limit. The exact moment the last Golden Core fragment was absorbed, it was as if a dam had burst. A torrent of Spiritual Qi transformed into a terrifying vortex, surging straight into Cheng Zongyang’s middle Dantian, where the Nascent Soul devoured it fiercely. This near-endless supply of Spiritual Qi allowed the tiny Nascent Soul to gradually "grow" and further solidify its form.

The moment the Nascent Soul finally completed its transformation, the entire Cultivation Room was flooded with five-colored light. The Nascent Soul trembled slightly, as if adapting to this new world. Suddenly, it turned into a streak of flowing light and began to swim through Cheng Zongyang’s body. Every time it passed through a Spirit Vein, it left behind a trail of five-colored radiance, widening and strengthening his Spirit Veins in the process.

Cheng Zongyang could clearly sense a wondrous, blood-linked connection between himself and the Nascent Soul. It felt as though this Nascent Soul was an extension of his own life and the true wellspring of his Power. This was the restorative feedback that came after the Nascent Soul’s formation.

Once it returned to the middle Dantian and finished absorbing Spiritual Qi, it slowly flew out of his body. After exiting, the Nascent Soul circled in the air. Despite its tiny size, its figure seemed to harbor world-destroying Power. It observed its surroundings curiously, the five-colored light from its body illuminating the whole Cultivation Room. Finally, the Nascent Soul hovered just above Cheng Zongyang’s head and slowly closed its eyes, enveloped in a swirling halo of five colors.

Thus, the Five Elements Nascent Soul had been successfully formed!

Right at that moment, the Ring Spirit retrieved the Five Elements Body from the Creation Space and floated it beside Cheng Zongyang’s main body. The Five Elements Body exuded an aura that resonated perfectly with the Nascent Soul; there seemed to be a natural, magnetic attraction between the two.

"You’re good to go!" the Ring Spirit reminded him.

Instantly, as if heeding a call, the Nascent Soul snapped its eyes open and shot forward as a streak of colorful light, diving straight into the Five Elements Body. The moment it entered its new vessel, the entire space seemed to freeze. The inherently homologous Five Elements Spiritual Qi began to merge. The Power of Five Elements intertwined, clashed, and fused with the Nascent Soul’s Spiritual Power. The five-colored light mingled with the radiance of the Five Elements, forming a brilliant, multi-colored orb of light.

The new body acted like a giant furnace, smelting their combined powers together. Cheng Zongyang’s consciousness bore the brunt of a massive impact during this process, making him feel as though he were trapped amidst the birth and destruction of a universe. However, he didn’t need to do anything; he simply had to wait quietly as the Ring Spirit took control. This fusion process required time, and if there was one thing Cheng Zongyang had in abundance, it was patience. He had already survived ten years of secluded Cultivation. Besides, compared to the life-and-death struggles of the future, this wait was absolutely nothing.

Three months passed in the blink of an eye.

Slowly, the fusion neared completion. The new body suddenly opened its eyes. An unparalleled, tyrannical burst of Power erupted, though Cheng Zongyang quickly seized control and reined it back in. As the new body radiated an unprecedented vitality and vigor, every inch of its skin brimmed with explosive strength. Cheng Zongyang could feel that he was perfectly attuned to this new vessel. Whether it was his Cultivation or his physical Physique and Power, everything had undergone a qualitative leap.

"Ring Spirit, would you call this a success?" Cheng Zongyang asked excitedly, reveling in the feedback of Power that felt completely different from when he had just broken through to the Nascent Soul Realm.

"The Five Elements Body, shaped from the Five Elements Spiritual Vein Origin, has one supreme function," the Ring Spirit pointed out. "You will no longer face any Realm barriers, and you can flawlessly master all Five Elements Techniques. Every ounce of power you absorb will be rapidly refined and assimilated by the Origin power, meaning you will never again suffer from an unstable foundation. Once you reach the Divinity Transformation Realm, you will be able to utilize the Origin power on a basic level."

"If there’s such a powerful Five Elements Body, why didn’t you offer it to me earlier?" Cheng Zongyang asked.

"First, I didn’t think of it. Second, it couldn’t be bought. Third, you didn’t have enough Points," the Ring Spirit replied bluntly.

Cheng Zongyang figured that made sense. It was like a new idea—some people just wouldn’t think of it until they saw someone else do it, and only then would they have a sudden epiphany. Not being able to buy it meant they couldn’t purchase a Spirit Vein Origin. Even if the first condition was met, he still wouldn’t have had enough Points to buy five Eighth Grade Spiritual Veins or cover the Points required to shape the body. Not to mention, he also needed the final assistance of the Creation Space.
