Martial Arts: I Have a Wilderness World
Chapter 798 - 397: Shaping the Five Elements Body
Chapter 798: Chapter 397: Shaping the Five Elements Body
Cheng Zongyang conferred titles upon all of them and imparted Cultivation Techniques, sending them out to develop their own species.
As for Gangzi, there was no need for that. Their species were completely different.
Afterward, he selected many more creatures to confer titles upon, such as the Wilderness Ox, tigers, leopards, wolves, deer, and sheep. He even included some plants and other flora. This was done to further increase the number of Demon Race species.
As for the rivers, lakes, marshes, and mountains scattered among the landscapes, they were not needed at the moment, nor could they reproduce and multiply. Moreover, the Immortal Realm currently only had Cultivators and virtually no ordinary mortals. They didn’t need the protection of a Mountain God and Water God. The only thing capable of offering protection was the Ring Spirit’s Divine Statue.
For the following period, Cheng Zongyang did not leave the Hall of Ten Thousand Races. Instead, he had the Ring Spirit capture a wide variety of living creatures from different regions, continuously enlightening and conferring titles upon a vast number of animals and plants. A massive amount of accompanying Demon Race Cultivation Techniques were also bestowed upon them before they were finally sent back to their original locations.
After taking human form, these animals and plants also came to know that Cheng Yang was the Realm Master. Because of this, they were incredibly respectful and vowed to properly develop their species.
Although a Cultivator’s death and their resulting Soul would accelerate the speed and probability of Demon Beasts gaining intelligence, it was still a gradual process. His current actions were merely to add more "leaders" for the respective species within the Realm of Ten Thousand Races, thereby providing them with a better environment for Cultivation and advancement. As for the subsequent competition between the various races, he would leave it for them to handle on their own.
In the blink of an eye, three months passed.
With the arrival of early summer, Cheng Zongyang once again went to the Cultivation Room. Inside, he asked the Ring Spirit,
"Ring Spirit, when are you preparing to forge the Five Elements Spiritual Vein Origin?"
"It can be done at any time. The forging process will take about three months, and I will need your blood during that period."
"Then let’s begin." Cheng Zongyang did not waste any time. Forcing out a drop of Essence Blood from his finger, he handed it over to the Ring Spirit and began a new session of secluded Cultivation.
The Ring Spirit, meanwhile, manipulated the Origin Spiritual Qi of the Five Elements Spiritual Vein Origin, the Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi, and various other types of qi, funneling them all over to supply Cheng Yang. As Cheng Zongyang entered a meditative state, the Ring Spirit extracted the sealed Five Elements Spiritual Vein Origin located beneath the spatial realm of the Hall of Ten Thousand Races.
In the Creation Space.
Looking at the breathtakingly beautiful Five Elements Spiritual Vein Origin, the Ring Spirit didn’t waste much time. Cheng Zongyang’s Essence Blood appeared. Carrying his formidable vitality and unique aura, the Essence Blood flickered with a faint, blood-red glow within this bizarre space. At that exact moment, ten million Points were deducted from Cheng Zongyang’s account.
Immediately, under the Ring Spirit’s manipulation, that drop of Essence Blood transformed into a thread thinner than a strand of hair. These threads seemed to come alive, rapidly sketching out the silhouette of a human figure. They darted and wove with agility, while the blood threads continued to shrink and stretch until they reached an almost nanometer-level thickness. Such operations within the microscopic world were not difficult for the Ring Spirit in the slightest.
Very quickly, the rapid weaving formed a "blood vessel" skeletal framework—complete with a full set of bones and meridians—which served as a completed "mold." Every single detail of this "mold" perfectly aligned with Cheng Zongyang’s own physical structure, as it was forged precisely based on his body. This was the necessary foundation for forging a body compatible with Cheng Zongyang. Like the cornerstone of a skyscraper, it provided stable support for the subsequent construction and significantly reduced the time needed to create something out of nothing.
Next, the Spirit Vein Origin—completely incapable of resistance under the Ring Spirit’s control—had its Spiritual Nature stripped away and sealed off to the side. Although the light of the Spirit Vein Origin that had been stripped of its Spiritual Nature dimmed slightly, the Energy it contained was still substantial. The Ring Spirit felt it could still be put to good use. Afterward, this Spirit Vein Origin was gradually compressed and refined. Ultimately turning into a liquid-like state, it began to fill the "mold" to start forging the new body.
This liquid resembled the water of a dazzling, multicolored cosmic river. As it slowly flowed into the "mold," every drop carried the origin Power of the Five Elements Spiritual Qi. This "injection molding" process was not fast. As days passed, the liquid gradually took shape within the "mold."
First, the skeletal frame was outlined. Then came the blood vessels attached to the bones, followed by the nodes attached to the vessels, which were the meridians. Meridians lacked physical substance, yet they existed—their locations lying on the surface of the various main blood vessels, with acupuncture points serving as crucial nodes along them. They could also be called qi channels. After that came the tendons, followed by the muscles that covered the bones, vessels, meridians, and tendons. Finally, there was the skin.
As the new body gradually perfected itself, skin began to cover it. That skin was smooth, elastic, and shimmered with a multicolored luster. Finally, the facial features grew distinct. The eyes were like deep, abyssal stars, the nose was tall and exquisitely defined, and the lips formed an elegant curve. It was even more handsome and dashing than Cheng Zongyang’s original body. When all these steps were concluded, the Internal Organs, nervous system, and everything else were also completed.
Each had its own unique function and placement, coordinating with one another to form a complete system. This brand-new body lay quietly within the Creation Space, looking like a peerless work of art. Throughout this process, the Ring Spirit maintained intense focus at all times. It carefully controlled every single step, allowing no room for the slightest error. The origin of all this was that single drop of Cheng Zongyang’s Essence Blood, which vastly reduced the time and cost of the creation process.
The overall body had been fully forged, but the subsequent steps still required the Essence Blood to merge with the Spirit Vein Origin. They were mutually assimilating, remodeling the meridians, and strengthening the physical form to turn it into a true body of flesh and blood. As the days passed and the new origin body underwent assimilation, Cheng Zongyang’s Cultivation was also steadily rising.
Over the course of three months, the Ring Spirit meticulously completed the forging of the Five Elements Spiritual Vein Origin body within the Creation Space. That body floated silently, surrounded by swirling Five Elements Spiritual Qi, looking as though it were the most perfect Five Elements creation in the world. Every inch of skin on this soulless new body rippled with a mysterious halo woven by the Power of Five Elements. Within the new Spirit Veins forged by the Five Elements Origin, multicolored Spiritual Power circulated smoothly. The bones shone as dazzlingly as the stars, radiating an aura of the origin of laws.
However, Cheng Zongyang did not end his secluded cultivation. At this moment, he was fully devoted to his Cultivation, as if immersed in a deep, profound dream. His consciousness was like a small boat on the open ocean, sailing freely through a sea of Spiritual Qi. The endless stream of various qi in his surroundings was drawn in by the North Nether Swallowing Qi Method, constantly surging into his body and forming a massive Spiritual Qi vortex.
Sitting right at the center of this vortex, he continuously absorbed the Spiritual Qi. Each breath seemed to synchronize with the unique rhythmic pulsation of his surroundings, and every intake of Spiritual Qi propelled the Golden Core within him toward a higher realm. The new body could only be used after forming the Nascent Soul. It was a lengthy process, but he was not in a rush right now, nor would rushing help. He could only trudge forward, one step at a time, on this arduous journey of Cultivation.
Rapid breakthroughs, slow consolidation.
Ten years passed by like flowing water, quietly slipping away while Cheng Zongyang lost himself in his Cultivation.
Over these ten years, the Immortal Realm and the Immortal City were like two resplendent pearls, their development changing with each passing day. Buildings in the Immortal City sprang up like bamboo shoots after a spring rain. The new streets became wider and more prosperous, lined with a dazzling array of goods. Crowds rubbed shoulders in a constant flow of foot traffic that lasted all twelve hours of the day. It had long since become the sole pilgrimage destination in the Martial Arts Realm.
Anyone with a yearning for Martial Arts or Cultivation Immortality would travel from thousands of miles away, scaling mountains and crossing rivers to get there. However, the various mortal nations now also had transport vehicles specifically dedicated to traveling to the Immortal City. All of this prosperity promoted stability and peace across the entire Martial Arts Realm.
Within the Immortal Realm, new Sects emerged like scattered stars, while ancient Sects burst with vibrant vitality under these new opportunities. The Cultivation of disciples improved across the board, and new Cultivation Techniques and Divine Abilities were constantly being created and unearthed. Everything was incredibly prosperous and flourishing. It had truly embarked on the fast track of development, running steadily and progressively like a massive, precise machine.
