Chapter 497 Sharon Sutton, What Are You Doing Here?

Yvonne Evans said, “Who knows what you’re up to?”

Sharon Sutton said, “I heard you got a boyfriend.”

Yvonne’s expression darkened. She stared at Sharon. “Who told you that? Why are you prying into my life?”

‘She’d only just gotten a boyfriend.’

‘And now Sharon was already bringing it up.’

She glared at Sharon. “What are you trying to do? Sharon, I haven’t done anything to you.”

“You haven’t done anything to me?” Sharon found her words laughable. “If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have lost my baby.”

“Are you kidding me?” Yvonne didn’t think the miscarriage had anything to do with her. She looked at Sharon and said, “You were completely in the dark, like an idiot. If it weren’t for me, you’d still be getting played by that scumbag. You should be thanking me!”

“Thank you?” Sharon found Yvonne’s words utterly ridiculous. “You think I don’t know what you were up to back then?”

Yvonne snorted. “So what? Do your worst!”

‘Sharon wouldn’t actually hit me, would she?’

‘Even if we did fight, I’m not afraid of Sharon.’

While she was a little afraid of Anne Sutton, she felt nothing for Sharon.

‘After all…’

‘Anne is the chairwoman of Fawcett Group now, not to mention she has Nathan Fawcett backing her.’

‘People are all the same—they bully the weak and fear the strong.’

‘Anne was someone they didn’t dare to cross.’

Sharon said, “What does it matter to you whether she’s doing well or not? You don’t actually think she cares about you, do you?”

When he went out, all he had to do was mention that his daughter was Anne Sutton and his son-in-law was Nathan Fawcett, and people would treat him wonderfully.

Even though their family’s relationship was terrible.

But in the eyes of others, they were still family.

That’s why he always acted so concerned about Anne.

Sharon said, “You’re really good at taking credit, aren’t you?”

Seeing Sharon speak to him that way, Sean Sutton retorted, “Is that how you talk to your father! Sharon, just look at you. Look what you’ve become. Have you divorced that David Hayes yet? I told you not to marry him, but you just had to do it! If you were half as smart as your sister, you wouldn’t have ended up in this mess.”

“…” Sharon looked at her father, remembering how he had been vehemently against it when Anne first went to be with Nathan Fawcett.

He even forced Anne to abort her and Nathan Fawcett’s child.

‘And now he’s here playing dumb!’

Sharon snorted coldly. “Have you forgotten how you treated Anne? You made her get rid of her baby! That was Nathan Fawcett’s baby! And now you’re delusional enough to think they’d want anything to do with you?”

“You…” Sharon had hit a nerve, and Sean Sutton’s expression turned ugly. “Has it been too long since you’ve had a beating? Are you asking for one?”

With that, Sean Sutton grabbed a nearby broom and charged at Sharon.

Sharon saw this and quickly ran off.

But her desire for revenge against the family hadn’t faded in the slightest.

She contacted Noah Linden and asked him to look into Yvonne Evans’s boyfriend for her.

Noah was fast, sending her the information shortly after.

But after sending it, he asked, “What do you need info on Yvonne’s boyfriend for?”

Sharon replied, “Nothing in particular.”

She didn’t tell Noah what she was planning.

That evening, she went straight to find Yvonne’s boyfriend.

It was the weekend, and Anne Sutton was at home with her child, keeping Nathan Fawcett company as well.

Noah Linden came over.

He stood to the side and said, “There’s something I think you should know.”

“What is it?” Anne looked at him.

Noah said, “Miss Sutton has gotten together with Yvonne Evans’s boyfriend.”

“…” Anne looked at Noah, her face a mask of disbelief. “Is she insane?”

“She asked me for his information before, and I had no idea what she was planning. I only found out recently. I tried to talk her out of it! Now the guy is dating both of them at the same time.”

Anne said, “Forget it. From now on, she can be responsible for her own messes.”

She knew Sharon had a problem with Yvonne, but seducing another woman’s man was something only she would do.

Anne had to hand it to Sharon, in a way.

‘I don’t know what goes on in that head of hers.’

Noah said, “Right. By the way, how is Nathan doing? I heard he’s been sick, so I came to check on him.”

“…” Anne said, “He’s doing okay. He’s been very cooperative lately.”

With Anne taking care of him, he was eating and sleeping properly every day. Anne had also taken him for a check-up, and the results were good.

‘The man just has no self-discipline. Sometimes I have to tell him something several times before it finally sinks in.’

But Anne was very patient with him now.

Noah said, “I’m glad to hear he’s okay.”

“Thanks for your concern.” Anne looked at Noah. “Do you want to go up and see him? He’s probably still asleep, though.”

“No, it’s fine,” Noah said. “I should get going.”

He had been in Westhaven for a while now and had grown accustomed to the work there.

In the eyes of others, his move from the Linden Group to Westhaven was a demotion.

After all, Fawcett Group could never compare to the Linden Family.
