Felix Young glanced at Sharon Sutton. “What about her? She’s perfectly fine! I called you here today to break up with you! Yvonne Evans, let’s split up. Sharon and I are truly in love.”

Yvonne Evans stared at Sharon Sutton. “Sharon Sutton, I won’t let you get away with this! You’re a real bitch!”

The other day, when Sharon Sutton mentioned she had a boyfriend, Yvonne Evans had felt a pang of worry.

But she never imagined that Sharon would go so far as to seduce her boyfriend.

‘That woman has no shame!’

“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Sharon Sutton said. “Felix and I are truly in love.”

Yvonne Evans glanced at Felix Young. “Do you even know this woman is divorced? No, that’s not right. She probably isn’t even divorced yet.”

Sharon Sutton sat to one side, offering no explanation as Yvonne went on about her past.

Felix Young said, “Sharon told me all about the divorce. She was just unlucky enough to meet a scumbag. I feel terrible for her. But you? I’ve had enough of you! Every holiday, all you think about is what gifts I’m going to buy you! You throw a tantrum any time you’re the least bit unhappy. I’m sick of your princess attitude. Sharon is so much better.”

‘Besides, I heard Sharon is Anne Sutton’s sister!’

‘They’re both Anne Sutton’s sisters.’

‘In that case…’

‘Why should I be with Yvonne Evans?’

‘And Sharon is even closer to Anne Sutton!’

‘If I can get together with Sharon, I’ll have an in with Anne Sutton. My family’s fortunes will be made!’

Yvonne Evans couldn’t believe it. The boyfriend she loved was saying all this right in front of Sharon Sutton.

‘Could I really…’

‘…be less desirable than a divorcée like Sharon Sutton?’

…

‘She was going to die from sheer anger!’

A moment later, Yvonne Evans ran out in a fury.

Sharon Sutton remained seated, watching Yvonne’s sorry figure retreat. She found it quite amusing.

‘This feels pretty good, actually!’

‘She had failed to steal Nathan Fawcett, but stealing Yvonne Evans’s man had been laughably easy.’

Felix Young turned to Sharon Sutton. “Sharon, when are you going to introduce me to your sister?”

Listening to him, Sharon Sutton said, “My sister’s been busy lately. I’ll take you to meet her when she comes back.”

David Hayes had always asked the same question when they were together.

Back then, she had let herself be brainwashed by him.

She never suspected that he was only with her to get to her sister.

Now, hearing Felix Young say the same thing, she couldn’t help but find it ridiculous.

‘All these men were after Anne Sutton!’

‘Was that sister of hers really so charismatic?’

‘It just goes to show, power is everything!’

“Sharon, you’re the best!” Felix Young said.

Sharon Sutton glanced at the man.

‘If it weren’t for her wanting to crush Yvonne Evans, she wouldn’t have even given him the time of day!’

‘Him? Did he really think he was worthy of her?’

‘Ever since she set her sights on Nathan Fawcett, all other men seemed pathetic in comparison.’

…

‘She couldn’t even be bothered to look at them.’

…

After leaving the restaurant, Sharon Sutton was about to head back to the office when a car pulled up beside her.

The window rolled down. She looked at the person inside and was surprised to see it was Justin Shields.

“What are you doing here?”

She knew that Justin Shields and Anne Sutton had been very close.

Seeing him now made her wary.

“Long time no see, Sharon,” Justin Shields said. “What are you doing out here by yourself? Hop in, I’ll give you a ride.”

“Who sent you?” Sharon Sutton asked.

Justin Shields chuckled. “‘Who sent me?’ What kind of question is that? I was just passing by and saw you, so I thought we could catch up.”

“If this is about my sister, I’m not interested,” Sharon said coldly.

“We’re not talking about your sister. Get in the car,” Justin Shields said.

Hearing that, Sharon Sutton got in the car.

She sat down and fastened her seatbelt. Justin Shields looked at her and asked, “What’s wrong? Did you fight with your sister?”

“You said you wouldn’t bring her up,” Sharon retorted.

“I’m just concerned about you,” Justin Shields said. “I heard you and your sister had a falling out, that you came to Westhaven and joined the Fawcett Group. You two used to be so close, how could you be at odds now?”

“…” Sharon Sutton glared at him. “Mention her again and I’m getting out.”

“I won’t mention her again,” Justin Shields said. “Let’s talk about Nathan Fawcett.”

Sharon stiffened at the mention of Nathan Fawcett. “Why are you bringing him up?”

“I heard,” Justin Shields said, “that you were the one who was originally supposed to marry into the Fawcett Family, but your sister took your place.”

“So you know.”

Justin Shields continued, “Don’t you want to switch places back with your sister?”

Hearing this, Sharon Sutton’s eyes widened as she stared at Justin Shields.

Justin Shields’ words had struck a chord deep in her heart.

But a moment later, a wave of disappointment washed over her.

She said, “Don’t be ridiculous. Nathan Fawcett doesn’t even see me.”

‘She’d tried!’

‘The man paid her no attention whatsoever.’

‘She didn’t stand a chance!’

‘Otherwise, she wouldn’t have been packed off to this place.’

“How can you be so sure?” Justin Shields asked. “If you really want that, I can help you.”

His words made Sharon’s heart race. “You can help me?”

Justin Shields nodded. “Mhm. If you’re willing to trust me, I can make Anne Sutton leave him and put you by his side. You and your sister actually look quite a bit alike. Don’t you want to know why Nathan Fawcett fell for Anne, but won’t even look at you?”

“Why?” Sharon was desperate to know.

She couldn’t figure out where she fell short.

Why was it so easy for Anne Sutton to make Nathan Fawcett so completely devoted to her?

Justin Shields smiled. “Because they have a child. They have a child, so you don’t have a chance. But I can help you figure something out. One day, your sister will leave him, and you’ll be able to take her place.”

“Why would you help me?” Sharon asked. “Aren’t you on Anne’s side? You’re not trying to set me up, are you?”

She was suspicious of his offer.

“Set you up?” A hearty laugh from Justin Shields filled the car.

He said, “Sharon, you’re adorable! I was close with your sister in the past, that’s true, but… I’m not trying to trap you. You want to be with Nathan Fawcett, and I want to be with your sister! That’s not too much to ask, is it?”

“You’re in love with my sister?” Sharon looked at Justin Shields, surprised.

“I am! I’d be overjoyed if she married me. It’s just that she has Nathan Fawcett by her side now. The truth is, your sister doesn’t like Nathan Fawcett at all. But you know how much power he has—who can defy him? Your sister is being forced to stay by his side. If you help me, you can be with Nathan Fawcett, and I can be with her. Isn’t that a happy ending for everyone?”

“What do you want me to do?” Sharon was already swayed by his proposition.

Before, she had been completely isolated and helpless. Even when she claimed that Nathan Fawcett belonged to her, everyone just thought she was being ridiculous, that she was delusional.
