Chapter 150 Wes Silas[2]
Chapter 150 Wes Silas[2]
Harry’s eyes focused on the blonde haired boy standing in the red domain, and a weird glint flashed through his eyes.
He couldn’t help but be curious about how Wes’s stats would compare to Trent’s current stats, given that they were both rivals who hated each other.
‘Probe.’ Without wasting anytime, he activated his skill, and immediately, a set of tabs appeared in front of his eyes.

Harry’s eyes squinted slightly when he saw Wes’s stats. It seemed like he had also broken through to the third mana core stage, as his mana was now over a thousand.
To be honest, Wes’s stats was actually very impressive, given that he was the same age with Trent, and was still far from reaching his full potential. .
However, they couldn’t compare to Trent’s, whose mana was already over three thousand.
It was another reason why Harry was shocked at Trent’s growth.
The last time he met Trent in the spell library, his mana was also around the same level as Wes, but suddenly, within a few weeks, it more than doubled.
Apart from their mana, Trent was also stronger than Wes when it came to physical abilities. His strength and even his agility was higher, and also his other physical capabilities.
With the way things were now, Harry doubted that they could even be considered “rivals” anymore, given that Trent had already far surpassed Wes.
If it were to be the him of the past, he would have been jealous of those with talents like Wes and Trent, but now, he didn’t feel even the tiniest bit jealous of any of them, not when he had something a lot better.
And that was of course, the [Manaless Mage System].

Meanwhile, on the stage, the members of the participating teams stared at one another in a face-off.
The girl leading Team 32, whose name was Leah, stared at Wes with the fire of determination brimming in her eyes.
She wasn’t the only one though, the rest of her team members were also staring into the eyes of their opponent’s team members with determination burning in their eyes.
They had already watched the fight between Harry’s team—or rather Susan’s team, and Ria’s team, and seeing how Harry managed to knock Team 4’s leader down, despite her being her elite student, had caused a fire to light in their hearts.
If he could do it, then they could also. There was no need to cower in fear, all that had to do was fight against their opponents with all they had, and also with full co-operation.
The goal of the competition wasn’t to defeat Wes, but to take their flag, though to do that, they would have to go through Wes first.
In comparison to Team 32, the members of Team 28 had lax expressions on their faces.
Their lips were curled into smug smiles, and they were smirking and snickering to themselves.
They didn’t see any reason to be worried about losing the competition, not when they had an elite student powerful as Wes leading the team.
Wes, the leader of the team, had a weird sinister smile on his face as he relished in the gazes of determination shot at him.
‘I guess they are feeling pretty determined, huh? I can’t wait to smash that determination away from their faces, and make them realize who they are up against.’ He mumbled inwardly, his lips curling into an even more evil smile.
He was one of those that felt very annoyed with Harry’s win against Ria, he felt like it was a stain on the name of elite students.
However, for some reason, he also felt like Harry’s face looked strangely familiar, but he couldn’t put a finger on where he had seen that face before.
His brows furrowed slightly, as he tried to remember where he had seen a similar face before, but no matter how he thought about it, he just couldn’t remember.
He eventually gave up on it, feeling that whatever it was, it mustn’t be important, given that he couldn’t remember. He should just focus on the competition he was participating in.
[And with all the teams ready, let the flag-hunting competition, begin!!]
Just then, the instructor’s voice reverberated through the speakers around the hall, announcing the start of the competition.
“Fine. Let’s see how you all would fare… against my mighty power!” Wes shouted, as he stepped forward, with his hands outstretched.
Wes was also a dual Elementalist, which explained his high magical talent, however, unlike Trent who was a dual Elementalist with wind and water element, Wes’s elements were earth and water, with the former being at high-grade and the later being at medium-grade.
He immediately channeled his mana, in preparation to cast a spell, but just as he was about to cast the spell, the purple haired girl and the two Elementalists standing behind her suddenly bursted forwards.
The girl ran towards Wes himself, while the other two ran in the opposite directions, each of them casting speed-boost spells of their own.
Wes’s eyes widened slightly when he noticed that Leah charged at him directly.
‘She’s charging at me, is she stupid or what?’ He couldn’t help but wonder.
However, without needing to think too much about it, he understood her plan, and he couldn’t help but scoff at how stupid it was.
She was clearly trying to do the same thing the brown haired Elementalist from before did—use her sudden charge to catch him off-guard and land a hit, except that she was trying to use two of her teammates as distractions for him.
While the plan might have worked if she was going up against a stage one Elementalist like herself, she wasn’t facing just any Elementalist, but an early stage three Elementalist.
“Earth spike!” Wes shouted, and almost immediately, a long, thin spike with pointed ends appeared in front of him and with a simple mental command, it shot towards the purple-haired girl with astonishing speed.
