After banishing away the leader of the fallen angels from the queen of witches’ private dimension, she looked at the maid that was still standing in her place without moving.

She was the maid that had come along with the leader of the fallen angels and also his contracted witch.

"Go back, you now don’t have any connections to the fallen angels." As she said so, the maid bowed before replaying in a respectful tone.

"As you wish, my queen." Then she vanished.

But where did she go?

It would be the place where witches dwell.

Back at the vampire country.

Inside the palace, in the queen’s bedroom.

Arthur opened his eyes feeling slightly disoriented as his head was buzzing making him feel so uncomfortable.

He frowned and squinted his eyes a little before that feeling slowly dissipated and everything went back to normal making him sigh and look up at the ceiling.

’An unfamiliar ceiling.’ He muttered inwardly before looking beside him just to see a pair of crimson blood-red eyes looking back at him.

They were unreadable yet beautiful and mesmerizing like two precious gems never seen before.

But realizing whom they belonged to, he refrained from looking too much.

"You can look....as much as you want." A deep soulful voice reached his ears once he looked back at the ceiling.

"It would look uncomfortable for you."

"I...don’t mind." She said making Arthur look at her again.

Her relaxed posture on the bed beside him, the way she was dressed, he could make guess of where he was.

"Why am I in your bedroom?" He asked.

To this, Glorias tilted her head slightly to the side with an unreadable expression that made her look cute to Arthur.

"Because I wanted to." She then replied as if it was a simple matter that wasn’t that concerning.

"Just relax, your body is still exhausted."

Hearing this, Arthur tried to move his body a little and he could barely move his arm even an inch.

’Just what had happened?! I don’t remember anything after having my chest pierced by John’s hand.’

His memoy after that was hazy and blurred, so unclear and unrecognizable.

"How long have I been sleeping?"

"Three days."

This made him open his eyes widely as he didn’t expect to sleep that long. It was strange.

And as if noticing the confusion on his face, Glorias clarified.

"When you passed out, your body was exhausted to the limits. So, rest was needed." As she said so, she moved closer that Arthur could smell the natural scent of her body that was quite addictive.

’Smells good.’ He thought.

Then he felt her hand on his chest making him feel the coldness of her skin even if he was wearing clothes.

But more than that, he felt weird as he didn’t understand why she had done something like that, though he didn’t mind.

Then suddenly, they heard a voice coming from outside the room.

It was loud and clear. ℯ

"Let me inside, right now! I must see my darling!" It was Ava’s own voice, and Arthur could recognize it even if he didn’t see her.

Her voice was enough.

He then felt Glorias pulling her hand back before getting out of bed.

"Don’t move." She said as she looked at him while tucking few strands of her long white hair behind her ears making the gesture look so beautiful.

"Like I can even move." He mutterred as he saw her walking toward the doors of the bedroom.

Once she opened the doors, she was met with the enegetic and fierce Ava and Fay, who stopping her from going inside.

But when Ava saw how the queen was dressed in such revealing clothes as it clearly emphasized her sensual curves, she felt her brain shuttingdown for a moment as her eyes couldn’t believe what she was seeing.

"Y—you! What the fuck are you wearing?!" Ava shouted while pointing a shaking finger at Glorias who looked unimpressed.

"Clothes?" Nonetheless she replied as if it was the most obvious answer.

"I fucking know they are clothes! But look at what you are wearing! And more importantly, you wore this while my darling was inside!" Ava didn’t even care about Glorias or her being the queen of vampires, a being that demanded respect from everyone around.

Her state right now wasn’t making her aware of whom she was talking to and the reason for that was Arthur himself.

She hadn’t seen him for three days which made her really unable to stand it and go crazy to the point that she stormed her way to the palace of the queen.

Meanwhile Scarlett, the woman didn’t care about what her daughter was about to do as she had her own problems to take care of.

Glorias stared at Ava for a few moments not saying a word before she parted her cherry red lips and said.

"Come in." Then she walked back inside the room without saying more.

Ava just stood there at the threshold unable to react for a second as if her brain was trying to boot but the system crashed during the process.

Fortunately, it was able to boot again as she suddenly rushed inside the room like a bolt of uncontrolled energy.

"Darling!" She screamed as she jumped on him while he watched her crashing down on him unable to move to hold her due to the state of his body. But nonetheless, Ava wasn’t that bad of a wife to not know the state of her husband.

She had noticed immediately once her eyes fell on him. So, she landed softly on the bed beside him before hugging him gently while rubbing her soft cheeks against his own affectionately like a little cute kitten.

"I missed you so soooo much, darling~~" Her voice was filled with so much affection and love that made Arthur smile lovingly at her. Her love flowed through their connection like a tide crashing against him and he embraced it without holding anything back.

’She is really so cute and lovely~’ He thought as he leaned his head against her and Ava when felt his feelings toward her through their connection, smiled more happily.

"I love you more than anything in this universe, darling~" She said in a husky tone.

While she kept hugging him enjoying his warm body against her and his scent that she was inhaling greedily as she buried her face into the crook of his neck.

Though it had been three days since she saw him, it was enough to make her brain go crazy from not seeing and feeling him.

On the couch, Glorias was sitting while looking at them intently as her eyes were focusing on the connection between them, not the physical one but the spiritual one that was making them look closer than they were physically in her eyes.

Her eyes could see it so clearly as day.

And that was the spark of a thought that began to take root deep inside her mind.

Back in the human world.

In a certain room that had only one table, two chairs, and one faintly glowing light bulb.

There were two figures sitting opposite to each other wearing cloaks to hide their identities making them look more like members of a cult.

"Did you get the test subjects?" One of them said, his voice was old like that of an old man in his 50s but filled with vigor.

His body looked big that the claok failed to hide it as it was bulky and filled with muscles.

"Of course, I got enough of them to try as many times as we want." The other’s voice was more like a young man but was quite rough like a middle-aged man making it confusing to define his real age.

But surly both were men.

"That’s good, we are getting close to the final stages and soon we will start the trials. But more importantly, did anyone suspect you?" The old man said in a quite threatening tone.

"No, I made sure of that. So, don’t worry too much." The young man said, not fazed by the old man’s threatening tone at all.

"I hope so. Then about our collaborator, how is he doing?"

"I contacted him yesterday and he told me that it was successful and showed great progress but the subject died for some unknown reasons he didn’t disclose."

"Died? And he didn’t tell you why or just didn’t want to?"

"I suspect that something happened that caused the subject’s death and he knew the cause but didn’t tell me."

Silence descended between the two for few seconds before the old man said in a deeper tone.

"Put him under surveillance for now and report if anything abnormal occurs or if he is acting suspicious."

"I thought the same too."

"....Soon we will show those heretic gods that the human race is superior than them. We will build the strongest army in existence and with it they won’t stand a chance." The old man’s tone was fervent and looked more fanatic as he spoke after a moment of silence.

"Yeah, they will bow down to us." The young man gritted his teeth as he said with a tone dripping with unconcealed revenge.
