Limitless Summoner System
Chapter 89: Orion Enforcement Agency (OEA)
After spending nearly 30 minutes explaining what happened, the dean sat back in his chair with his hands in his face with a look of frustration. He picked up the phone and called the school board of directors who advised him to contact the Magical Law Enforcement team known as ’The Orion Enforcement Agency,’ also known as OEA.
According to the dean and Master Sanju, the OEA lived in space on a massive mothership and had another secure ship for all of the planet’s magical prisoners. They were led by a Commissioner who oversaw several different branches, each led by their own captain. Without getting too deep into specifics, Tyler and Adam were informed that their homeroom Professor would be transported to the mothership and would plead his defense.
Tyler wasn’t thrilled he’d have to be there for the testimony, which happened in just two days’ time, but he was grateful the dean believed him. It helped that Adam’s serpentine link was common knowledge and Master Sanju supported Tyler’s case about this unknown Eidolon realm.
"So there’s a realm for Eidolons that has factions, a King, Queen who are god and goddess and beasts roam freely there too? Why would Ethan try so desperately to get there?" Dean Pritchett asked while shaking his head, which was still in his hands.
"Purely for power sir. As a summoner, my strength greatly increases in that realm. For him, time would move differently there. He could be gone a day here and a week would pass in the Land of Summoned Monsters. Simply put, he wanted to slay a bunch of beasts, collect their hearts and become more powerful."
"I still do not understand why he would go to such great lengths to achieve this. We are at peace, there is no need for such power." Master Sanju said calmly.
’If only we could tell them,’ Tyler thought while remaining perfectly still.
"Maybe he was just on a power trip or something, Sensei?" Adam asked politely.
"That room was really creepy. I remember when Tyler disappeared for the first time, we were all shocked. To know it was our homeroom teacher is just mind-boggling."
"Agreed. You are dismissed. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. The OEA is on their way to escort the prisoner.
"Would you like me to stay to accompany you sir?" Tyler offered.
"I appreciate your support Tyler but you’ve already done so many great things for this school. I probably should have had the officials call your match with Blake sooner, but you definitely demonstrated great power and I hope you will do well in this tournament. I have the utmost confidence in you and your girlfriends. We must win this! The prizepool is 100,000,000 credits!"
Tyler’s jaw dropped. "One hundred million?!"
Adam laughed. "Well, you can definitely tell he was home schooled. Thank you for your time."
"Certainly. Before you go, Master Sanju, I know you have a lot on your plate already, but could you please take over their homeroom period until I find a suitable replacement?"
"Certainly. Take all the time you need sir. I appreciate your best interests are always the students so I am happy to assist for as long as you need me too."
"I’ll give you a raise in the meantime, we’ll talk about that later in private. Everyone, have a great rest of your day."
They all thanked the dean and left with plenty of questions on their minds. This information was new to Tyler and Adam didn’t have a deep understanding of how the OEA actually worked but was glad to know they were overseeing the entire galaxy.
While walking back toward the dojo, Tyler realized he was missing his fourth period class but honestly didn’t care. He had bigger things on his mind right now than a class he was already top tier in. He needed to speak with Nyxara and Kass but wasn’t sure how he’d be able to do that.
"Couldn’t you just go to your apartment and pretend you are in danger?" Shadow chuckled.
"I don’t think that’s how it works. I think one of us would have to be in danger. I wish I could make portals to places around the world and not just in between realms."
"Ask your system if you can learn that skill?" Ritsu suggested.
’System, can I learn a teleportation or portal based ability for Vexarra.’
[Error: User is not at a high enough level to unlock portal transportation or teleportation.]
’System, is there a chance I could learn these abilities in the future.’
[Yes Tyler. This will take time and patience. Although you are SS rank and level 90, your potential remains unlimited and you will certainly have to grow in order to maintain a healthy balance between your body and your familiars.]
Tyler finally strolled into his fourth period and noticed Sophie left a seat open next to her intentionally. He smiled, greeted his professor and apologized. The lesson involved a tactic known as ’hedgehog defense,’ where essentially the unit concentrated their forces into heavily fortified circular strongpoints to support one another. This prevented the enemy from easily breaking through while surrounding and overwhelming them.
He paid attention while holding hands with Sophie. Everyone in the Academy already grew accustomed to Tyler and his harem. Tyler wanted to invite most of his friends to the wedding, but felt it would only be proper to invite Adam and a select few. He went with Alex and Zain for his other two groomsmen to show the unity between humans, werewolves, vampires and demons.
The bell finally rang, which gave him time to catch up with Sophie.
"So we have less than three weeks until our big day. Are you excited yet?!" She said with a gentle kiss.
"I’ve been excited! The tournament starts next week, right?"
"Yes, it does on Monday. The first event will be the Forest of Unknowns team skill challenge."
Tyler grinned. "We are going to dominate!"
