Limitless Summoner System
Chapter 88: Primordial Rage [Bonus]
Professor VanHorn consistently sent a barrage of different dark spells Tyler consumed with his staff.
"Be careful with that Tyler... you don’t want your staff cursed."
"That’s a real thing? Ok, thank you." Tyler said as he unleashed the power again.
"Leviathan, please take care of this. I would really appreciate it. Are you a big fish fan like your big brother?"
"I prefer whale or giant squid, but yes, fish also would be nice."
"All yours as long as you don’t kill him!"
An earthquake rumbled from the surface and Tyler realized Ash hadn’t returned yet. He built a dirt ramp to get him as high as possible. He sprinted upwards and launched himself onto a large tree. The mighty Primordial Eidolon of the sea appeared as the monstrosity he was, swallowing the entire ground, forming a massive lake of pulsating water.
"Tyler! You’ll be expelled for this!" VanHorn screamed in anger.
"Sure, go ahead. Talk to the dean. I think that’s the least of my worries right now." Tyler said with a kind smile.
As soon as Ash returned, Tyler immediately linked with him, allowing him to expand his wings and dart into the sky quickly. The professor tried fighting through the water but Leviathan’s power overwhelmed him. His dark matter walls, bubbles, barricades all were immediately crushed and he was trapped in a whirlpool.
"Tyler, he is about to pass out, swing in and grab him." Leviathan said calmly.
"On it!"
Tyler jetted from the sky, delivering one punch to the Professor’s head before grabbing him. The teacher reverted back to his elven form and was unconscious. Tyler threw him over his shoulder while floating in the air.
"Thank you Leviathan. I will summon you on Vexarra to come and enjoy a nice meal."
"Yes, that would be great. Make sure Seraphim is there. You should also speak with my sister. She’s wondering why you haven’t met with her yet."
"Please tell her it’s because I’m back in school, the tournament is approaching and my wedding is in about 3 weeks."
"The 21st is on a Sunday, it all worked out nicely. 1/21/3334. It has a good ring to it!" Ritsu said cheerfully.
[Ping! Congratulations. You have successfully completed your quest. Reward: Your fragments of soul from dark magic consumption via staff release have been returned.]
’Phew!’ Tyler exhaled.
[Ping! All dark magic has been removed from your magical inventory.]
’Well, that’s probably for the best.’ Tyler thought.
"It most certainly is. The dark arts are not something anyone like you should be using, young Master," Rex said calmly.
"Thanks Rex, but you know you don’t have to refer to me as Master. One of these days we’ll have to talk more about that forest and your family’s origin."
"Yes, that’d be nice, but why can we hear your system notifications? I’ve always wondered but never asked."
"Eidolons feel what their hosts do, see and hear what they do as well. I’m guessing our mother also built certain fail safe mechanisms when she created your system to ensure your safety." Ash said proudly.
"Yes! Like when the system went into emergency override procedure when Leviathan almost killed me. Remind me to thank your Mom and Dad again." Tyler smiled.
"Now what to do with this Professor?" Tyler asked.
"I would take him to Sensei Sanju and have him accompany you and Nyxara to the dean to explain the situation. Maybe get Adam involved. This is going to be a big mess to clean up." Ritsu said calmly.
"Thanks everyone. Leviathan, where on Vexarra would you like to be summoned for your meal?"
"There is an ocean on the western border. There is an area in between the cities of Tenzen and Taipiko lush with forest and no civilization. If you’re too close to the land, I’ll cause a tsunami so make sure it’s in the middle of the ocean," Leviathan explained ecstatically.
’System, please set this on my map once we’re back on Vexarra so I can have Nyxara teleport me there.’
[Coordinates set. Ash will be able to explain to Nyxara where to teleport.]
"Alright everyone! Time to report to return to Vexarra. Thanks again," Tyler exclaimed while opening a portal just outside the dojo.
Class ended and Amanda, Adam and Sophie were walking out just as Tyler appeared.
"Tyler!" Sophie and Amanda shouted at the same time while running up to hug and kiss him before realizing who was over his shoulder.
"Oh my..." Amanda gasped.
"Excuse me ladies, it’s great to see you but I have something I have to explain to Master Sanju. I love you both very much," he said with a large smile.
"Love you too babe," Sophie smiled.
"Also nice job Adam, your tracking helped save the day!" She continued.
"Just doing my part. Tyler did all the heavy lifting," Adam shrugged.
"Tyler, I love you but are you sure you’re not going to be punished for this?" Amanda said with a worried expression.
"Nope. He was using dark magic. Ritsu analyzed all the data for me so all she has to do is come out in Eidolon form and we should be fine. Adam, please come with me."
They both smiled as Adam and Tyler walked into the dojo. They had 15 minutes between periods, leaving ample time to speak with their teacher in private.
"Mr. Rask, Mr. Fawkes, why are you carrying Professor VanHorn over your shoulder Tyler?" Master Sanju asked with both eyebrows raised.
Tyler asked if he could explain on the way to the dean’s office and the Sensei agreed. He put a note on the dojo door informing students to wait patiently for his return and to partner up and work on martial arts with Qi.
They arrived at the dean’s office and Tyler set Professor VanHorn down and cast magical restraints around his arms and legs.
"What is the meaning of this?" Dean Pritchett asked in an angry tone.
"Apologies sir, Professor VanHorn has been using demonic arts and dark magic to try to visit the Land of Summoned Monsters. I have witnesses who can testify and Ash destroyed the secret room." Tyler said with a kind, soft smile.
