It's Perfectly Normal for my Slime to beat up a Dragon, Right?
Ch. 328 - Are You Sure This Isn't a Thug Boot Camp
New Novel - Read Here
"Hand over your three student cards. I'll change your dorm assignments!"
The three of them obediently handed over their student cards, a collective sigh of relief escaping them.
Thankfully it was just a dorm swap. No big deal!
They could still cause trouble again next time!
"Building 1, Room 333!"
The man returned the student cards to the three, an odd look flickering in his eyes.
"Building 1?"
Chen Shu's eyes went wide. "Isn't it Building 16?"
"Building 16 can't survive you three wrecking it. We've specially reassigned you to the honors dorm!"
"..."
The three exchanged glances. Something about this felt seriously off.
"A'Liang, Wang Jue — you two can leave now!"
Both nodded, visible relief in their faces, while casting memorial glances at Chen Shu.
Chen Shu's expression remained perfectly composed, as though he hadn't understood a thing, and he charged straight ahead, taking the lead.
"Trying to slip away?"
The teacher's eyes flared. He reached out and blocked him directly.
Chen Shu put on a pained smile. "Teacher... I was wrong..."
"The dorm's wrecked and you think you're not paying for it?"
The teacher pulled out another form. "The dorm needs full renovation — one million yuan in compensation. Pay it as soon as possible!"
"Additionally, given this is your first offense, the school won't come down too hard on you. Fifty academic credits deducted!"
"??"
Chen Shu had already been gutted over the one million yuan compensation, and now credits were getting docked on top of that?!
"Teacher, I don't have any credits right now!"
"I'm aware. So now you're at negative fifty credits!"
"..."
Half an hour later.
Chen Shu shuffled out of the Discipline Office, utterly dejected, the light completely gone from his eyes!
"My f***ing money and credits!"
He tilted his head back and wailed, his eyes brimming with heroic tragedy. He'd become a debtor on the very first day of school — was this really what university was supposed to be?
He'd come to university to plunder resources, and now he'd somehow turned into a donor instead?
"Chen Shu, you okay?"
A'Liang looked over, undisguised admiration in his eyes.
He'd thought he was already ruthless enough, but this guy had crossed into straight-up absurd territory.
"Sigh, can't hold up anymore!"
Chen Shu shook his head. "Oh yeah, you two got any money?"
"Nope! Not a single cent!"
The moment the two caught the greed in his gaze, they jolted and bolted straight for the dorms.
If they stuck around any longer, they were afraid Chen Shu would strip them clean!
An hour later.
The three gathered at the base of the dorm building, luggage all packed.
"Building 16... ended before it even began..."
Wang Jue and A'Liang had at least gotten one night's sleep there. Chen Shu, in contrast, hadn't even spent a full hour.
"Goodbye!"
The three shook their heads, their retreating backs steeped in loneliness.
After an hour of wandering around, they finally located the legendary Building 1!
"Pretty convenient, actually — built right next to the school's Gate 5!"
Wang Jue took in the scene. A four-story building stood before them, flanked by the school's desolate Gate 5.
Chen Shu, however, froze. A vague realization was creeping up on him.
"You two know what's outside Gate 5?"
Both turned to him, shaking their heads in confusion.
Chen Shu spoke. "The Capital... Spirit Suppression Bureau!"
"..."
The two exchanged a look. Wang Jue slowly said, "That can't be to save time, right..."
"Surely not..."
A knot of unease settled in their stomachs as they made their way toward Building 1.
"New arrivals? Nice!"
Downstairs, an old man was lounging in a rattan chair enjoying the shade, eyeing the three with keen interest.
Chen Shu asked, "Uncle, is this the honors dorm?"
"Honors dorm?"
The old man's expression turned peculiar, then he nodded. "You could say that!"
Just as Chen Shu was about to speak again, a striking figure caught his eye.
"Sis Fang Si!"
He actually spotted Fang Si hauling luggage out.
"Chen Pi! Just as I expected — you really ended up here!"
Fang Si actually smiled, as if she'd seen this coming all along.
"Sis, is this really an honors dorm? What's with the luggage?"
Fang Si said matter-of-factly, "I live here. But I'm a senior now, so I have to move out."
"???"
The three's eyes bulged in bewilderment. This was a girls' dorm?!
"Come with me!"
Fang Si set her luggage aside and led the three inside Building 1.
"Building 1 really was originally exclusive to honors students!"
Fang Si explained. "But as you know, geniuses all tend to have... unique personalities. That made Building 1 absolute chaos."
"The school couldn't let them room with regular students either, so they had to station a powerhouse here to keep order and prevent anything major from going down. But small-scale clashes between rooms never stopped, and the honors dorm gradually devolved into the troublemaker dorm."
As she spoke, Fang Si guided the three up the staircase. "Floors one and three are for boys, floors two and four for girls. People might pick fights with you often, so watch yourselves. But with Lord Wang keeping things in check, nothing too serious will happen. Worst case, you just get beaten up a bit..."
"..."
Chen Shu and the other two were beginning to realize something was deeply wrong here.
"Senior, so not only is this place co-ed, but it's freshmen all the way through seniors mixed together?!"
"Mm. Good luck."
Fang Si nodded and let out a sigh. She hadn't expected three freshmen to get moved in on just their second day of school.
"Don't worry, nothing too serious can happen. If anyone were truly evil, they'd already be in prison!"
"P-p-prison?!"
Wang Jue could barely get the words out.
Are you sure this is a student dorm and not a thug boot camp?!
"It might be a little chaotic in there, but the main point is to stimulate competitive drive."
Fang Si offered a soothing smile. "Meanwhile, it creates an excellent learning environment for the rest of the student body!"
"Not bad!"
Chen Shu, however, was completely unbothered as he stepped onto the third floor.
He was already a Black Iron-rank Beast Tamer now. With his crafty disposition, he definitely wasn't going to be the one taking losses.
"Seems like no one's home!"
Wang Jue noted that the entire building was eerily silent.
"They spend most of their time hunting in dimensional spaces or doing school missions for resources. They can't afford much downtime. You can totally relax!"
Chen Shu pulled out his student card and smoothly accessed Room 333.
The interior had the same layout as the other dorms — still a four-bedroom apartment setup.
"Chen Pi, I've got stuff to take care of. I'm heading out."
Fang Si patted his shoulder and murmured, "If anyone gives you trouble, let me know."
With that, she left Building 1.
"Whatever! University life is about to begin!"
The three quickly stopped dwelling on it. None of them were the type to fear trouble — otherwise they wouldn't have ended up in Building 1 on day two.
Each claimed a room and began unpacking their bedding, clothes, and so on...
They kept busy until evening before finally finishing up.
"Chen Shu, A'Liang, grub?"
Wang Jue had finished tidying up and was waiting on the living room couch.
"Hold on!"
Chen Shu summoned the husky and set out its food.
He rubbed the dog's head and said warmly:
"If you don't finish eating in ten minutes, tonight I'm eating dog meat!"
