Eon had Quin and Alf on his side while Rein had Carla and Chry on his side. The six of them were fighting against one another, and they had some kind of point game that they were focusing on.

He recognised that particular emotion very well. In fact, that one emotion was one thing, like most high ranking knights, that had fueled the blaze which took him to this stage.
“I want to be like them… fight like them… trust like them.”
He did not need an exceptional skill to recognize a genius, and he did not need his extensive experience to recognize a familiar emotion.

She was watching them every time they were fighting. She knew how they fought, how much they enjoyed their time together… how much they adored one another.
She also wanted all that. She also wanted to fight beside them and trust them with her life like they do.
