Investing in My Wife: But She's Already the Strongest!
Chapter 80: Influence
She walked toward the corridor, one of the two corridors in the building.
It led to the restrooms, while the other led to the kitchen.
She entered as though she genuinely needed to use the restroom.
However, she actually took out her phone from the small bag she was carrying and typed a message.
A moment later, Dilan checked his own phone.
When he saw the incoming message, his eyes briefly lit up.
Without saying anything to Luis, who had begun talking to other people, he headed toward the restroom as well.
As little more than a junior in the family, Dilan naturally attracted less attention than Luis.
Even when he walked toward the restroom alone, nobody paid him much attention.
The corridor wasn’t particularly long before splitting into two separate passages lined with doors. The men’s restrooms were on the right, while the women’s were on the left.
Of course, the restrooms here were designed like those in a private residence, offering visitors plenty of comfort.
Noticing that there weren’t many people around, Dilan walked into the women’s restroom corridor, startling a woman who had just stepped out of one of the stalls.
He ignored her displeased expression and hurried toward the door at the very end, which had been left slightly open.
Pretending he simply wanted to use the restroom, he walked straight inside.
The restroom was quite spacious, complete with a washbasin and a large mirror.
Dilan stopped behind the door and promptly closed it. He then looked at the middle-aged blonde woman in an elegant dress standing in front of the mirror, smiling at him.
"Have you missed me?" she asked seductively.
"Gracie, what are you really after?" Dilan asked in response.
He wasn’t foolish enough to approach the situation without suspicion.
"Ohhh, do you think I have some ulterior motive beyond wanting to see you?" Gracie chuckled casually as she approached Dilan and placed both hands on his shoulders.
"Don’t you want to pick up where we left off last time?" she whispered.
Dilan’s breathing began to quicken.
Unable to resist any longer, he pulled Gracie into his arms and pushed her against the wall.
He kissed her neck while squeezing one of her breasts with his hand.
Gracie immediately seemed intoxicated by the sensation, holding the back of Dilan’s head.
"I still don’t believe you came here without a reason," Dilan said again, staring at Gracie’s face.
His desire hadn’t completely clouded his judgment.
He still had his suspicions.
Rather than answering directly, Gracie began unbuttoning Dilan’s shirt one button at a time.
How could a young man like Dilan resist being treated that way by such a beautiful lady?
He opened the front of Gracie’s dress and aggressively caressed her thick, smooth thighs.
When Gracie brought her lips close to his, he couldn’t help kissing her.
Their kiss quickly turned passionate, and their hands began removing each other’s clothes.
Soon, they were naked, holding each other tightly as Dilan kissed Gracie’s shoulders and neck.
"I want to tell you something. Oliver and his zombies will be ready today," Gracie finally said, stroking Dilan’s back.
Dilan froze as he looked at her.
Suddenly, Gracie took hold of his manhood and guided him inside her herself.
"Ohhh..." she moaned with pleasure.
Dilan couldn’t hide the look of ecstasy on his face as they became one.
"This might be our last time together. You’ll die, and I’ll truly be sad, but at most, I’ll only mourn you for a few days," Gracie said, her expression still filled with pleasure as she caressed Dilan’s shoulder.
"Don’t you believe me?" Gracie asked.
"You should understand just how terrifying Miya Stanley is. Even my older brother’s master was defeated by her. Her karmic fortune is unparalleled. Perhaps the world itself wants her to lead humanity. Only a madman seeking death would choose to challenge her. Your older brother has already declared war on her. It’s possible that you’ll obtain Giant Zombies from Oliver, but without them, your family will be the ones in trouble."
"Why are you telling me all this if I’m going to die anyway?" Dilan asked in response.
"Of course, I don’t want that to happen."
"Hmph. You said you’d only be sad for a few days if I died."
"That’s simply the reality of the situation. But I hope we can continue enjoying ourselves like this." Gracie gently caressed Dilan’s face.
Her expression was filled with affection.
"I’ll try to save you and the rest of your family. Your older brother might be the only one I can’t save. For that to happen, you’ll have to do something for me."
"What do you want me to do?" Dilan asked.
The threat of death loomed over him even as he enjoyed the pleasure of being intimate with another man’s wife. He couldn’t help feeling worried.
His survival instincts were now working at full capacity.
There was one thing he understood clearly: Miya Stanley was truly terrifying.
His older brother might have appeared calm when threatening her, but as a junior, Dilan was naturally nervous.
There were countless stories within their family about how Miya Stanley had bullied Luis during their younger years.
Luis was obsessed with getting revenge, and Dilan had been forced to follow him because Luis effectively controlled their family. Even their father was submissive to him.
If Luis was certain to fail, Dilan might still survive. But what about the other family members?
"I heard the power behind those zombies comes from the corpses of Cultivators, with each corpse capable of producing up to five zombies. Giant corpses are extremely rare, and most are closely guarded by their respective families. I know your older brother must have prepared several Giant corpses for Oliver. Help me get those corpses."
"Are you sure this will save me?" Dilan asked, looking skeptical.
"Lady Stanley is willing to forgive someone as long as they sincerely apologize. I was the one who provided Oliver with the Level 4 Spiritual Warriors he needed to create the Giant Zombies, yet she forgave me. What matters is apologizing sincerely while doing something that helps her," Gracie replied, hugging Dilan more tightly and drawing him deeper into their intimate embrace.
She even made Dilan unconsciously sway his hips.
"You’d better do it now, before Oliver arrives. After this event, we can spend the whole night together," she added.
She was deliberately clouding Dilan’s judgment with pleasure while reminding him of the crisis that could strike at any moment.
Dilan looked as though he wanted to ask for a little more time, but the looming crisis was beginning to worry him.
