"Oh?"

"This power... it’s Bright Divine Power!"

The Divine Venerable smiled faintly. "It seems that while this generation’s God of Light is lacking in strength, he’s at least retained a shred of a god-king’s dignity."

With that, he shot the giant before him a meaningful glance.

The giant took the hint and immediately stepped forward. Divine Power swirled around his body as he went to meet the God of Light’s vast divine radiance.

The two forces collided in the void of space, instantly erupting in a brilliant flash of light that sent all spacecraft within a radius of several hundred thousand kilometers tumbling away.

That entire stretch of the cosmos became a vast, empty expanse.

The God of Light transformed into a giant of light, his hair and beard flaring out as he threw a punch at the enemy giant.

The two giants soon clashed.

BAM!

After only a few exchanges, the God of Light was struck by the other’s fist. The giant formed from his Bright Divine Power immediately began to flicker and turn unstable.

"Is that all you’ve got? And you still dared to show your face!"

The giant roared with laughter, raised his fist, and continued his attack.

Every one of his punches carried a strange ripple that tore through space itself. Wherever they passed, space shattered and turbulent currents erupted.

The God of Light hurriedly circulated all his Divine Power to resist the assault.

Unfortunately, his strength ranked among the lowest even in the Divine Domain. How could he possibly be a match for his opponent?

"I’m here to help you!"

Just as he was struggling to hold on, Promi appeared as a rainbow streak of light, flying over at extreme speed.

He was the Divine Domain’s God of Wood, a relatively minor deity whose Divine Power relied primarily on the wood-aspected Spiritual Qi produced by planets.

At this moment, he carried several enormous green planets on his back, his Divine Power boiling so intensely it seemed almost tangible.

"Bind!"

Promi himself had not yet arrived, but his Divine Power had. He pointed a finger, and before the giant could react, his body was already covered in enormous vines.

These vines shot out from the void, trapping the giant securely as they continuously tightened and coiled around him.

The giant roared repeatedly, its eyes bulging like two planets.

"You think the two of you can beat me?"

"What a joke!"

The giant struggled relentlessly.

"God of Light, what are you standing around for?! Your Bright Divine Sword!"

Promi was frantic.

The God of Light’s eyes sharpened. A colossal Bright Divine Sword that blotted out the sky materialized in his hand.

The body of the sword shone brilliantly, countless divine runes and Talismans flowing across its surface.

"Die!"

The God of Light roared, charging the giant with the sword.

"You dare!"

The giant’s eyes narrowed. Two beams of divine light shot out like enormous pythons, wrapping directly around the Bright Divine Sword.

The pythons emanated a pitch-black glow, devouring the divine radiance of the Bright Divine Sword bit by bit.

The God of Light pushed forward with the sword, but he couldn’t move it an inch.

"Such pathetic strength!"

The giant roared with laughter. He clenched his right fist, and a massive axe materialized from thin air. With a few swings left and right, he severed all the vines in a matter of moments.

"Petty buffoons will always be petty buffoons!"

Wielding the great axe, the giant brought it down hard on the Bright Divine Sword with a KRA-CHUNK.

With a CRACK, a deep gash appeared on the Bright Divine Sword.

The God of Light panicked, hastily abandoning his Bright Divine Sword and charging forward.

Having finally arrived, Promi flew up to join him. Combining their strength, the two gods engaged the giant in a fierce struggle within the void.

In the distance, the soldiers of the Divine Domain, who had just felt a glimmer of hope at the arrival of reinforcements, now looked ashen-faced.

’Two of our gods can’t even beat a single vanguard.’

’And there are even stronger enemies behind him. The Divine Domain has no chance of winning.’

"The gods of the Divine Domain are nothing special!"

The giant grinned ferociously. He sent the God of Light flying with one punch, then grabbed Promi and launched him tens of thousands of kilometers with a side kick, crushing countless meteorites along the way.
