Chapter 589 - 320: Sun God

The giant let out a roar that shook the world, and the entire starry sky trembled at the sound.

Miles away, the God of Light and Prometheus struggled to their feet, their eyes burning with fury as they stared at the giant before them.

Their opponent’s strength far exceeded their imagination.

’Are these the people of the Moruo God Clan?’

’There hasn’t been a war for tens of thousands of years. How could they have gotten this powerful?’

’Or has the Divine Domain truly fallen this far?’

The God of Light glanced at Prometheus and said in a low voice, "It seems the Divine Domain cannot be saved. I cannot tarnish the honor of the God King’s lineage. You should flee. When you see the Sun God King, tell him I did not bring shame upon our Master."

With that, a brilliant light erupted from the God of Light, far more dazzling than anything before.

The light grew more and more intense until, in a matter of moments, he transformed into a luminous giant even larger than before.

"Under all of heaven, wherever light touches is my Divine Thought!"

"Where there is light, all evil shall retreat!"

The God of Light roared, once again forming a Bright Divine Sword in his hand as he charged the giant.

"A pathetic clown, a mantis trying to stop a chariot. You overestimate yourself! HAHA!"

The giant sneered and strode forward to meet the attack.

The two clashed in an instant.

"Burning your divinity? How long can you keep that up!"

The giant swung his fist contemptuously, slamming it into the God of Light and sending him stumbling back.

"You dare look down on me!"

The God of Light’s divine aura blazed. He ignored his opponent’s attacks, making no attempt to dodge, meeting force with force in a direct trade of injuries.

After only a few moments of fighting, the divine light around the God of Light could no longer maintain its blazing intensity, and his very form seemed to shrink.

Seeing this, Prometheus knew he could not linger. He transformed into a streak of light and fled into the distance.

But before he could escape the warring Star Realm, a two-horned giant appeared, blocking his path with a savage grin.

"I let you run last time. You think you can get away again?!"

"Damn it!"

Seeing this, Prometheus knew he had no choice but to fight for his life. With a roar, he grit his teeth and charged forward.

On a distant celestial landmass, the Divine Venerable looked down upon the war and smiled faintly. "The Divine Domain has brought this upon itself. To think they would dare attempt to alter their divinity!"

"Lord Divine Venerable, their so-called Sun God has yet to appear. Could it be...?" an old man beside the Divine Venerable asked, bowing slightly.

"A no-name god who likely stumbled upon some fortunate opportunity," the Divine Venerable said with a faint smile. "He’s not worth our concern. Once we kill these two minor gods, the entire Divine Domain will be powerless to resist."

"Your Excellency is wise!"

The old man bowed. Just as he was about to speak again, his expression froze, and his gaze was involuntarily drawn to the depths of the starry sky.

"Your Excellency!"

The Divine Venerable heard him and nodded, his expression turning grave. "Such powerful pressure!"

"Could it be that Sun God?"

At the old man’s words, everyone present turned to look into the distant starry sky.

"The Sun is the embodiment of eternal power!"

"You who have invaded the territory of my Divine Domain, your crime is punishable by death!"

"All the stars in the heavens, heed my call. Condense!"

A soul-shaking spiritual ripple emanated from the far distance. Though it was worlds away, it felt as if it were right beside them.

Strand by strand, the words imprinted themselves with perfect clarity upon everyone’s mind.

It reached the invading gods with their great Divine Techniques, and the ordinary mortals fighting below.

All of them heard those words distinctly.

Just as they were looking around in terror for the source of the voice, they suddenly discovered that the star behind them had erupted in a blaze of scorching light.

Solar flares shot out in an instant, as if from a sudden conflagration.

Countless streams of Energy were inscribed upon the void, like a series of Talismans.
