"I guess it’s time for you to serve your last purpose." Saying that, Leon waved his hand. "Flame whip." The moment he chanted that, fire erupted from his palm. Six serpent-like whips of fire shot out. The monsters who were busy attacking Leon suddenly froze, those whips wrapping around their bodies. Their muscles bulged as the whips tightened around their bodies. They tried to free themselves. But their struggle was futile.

Hissss!

The air sizzled as the smell of burning flesh spread. And within a few seconds, their bodies melted down like molten lava.

Dead! Six A-Class monsters died just like that.

Sol and the others walked up to him. "Don’t you have any other way to train yourself?" Emily asked with a worried expression.

"Yeah. That’s a weird way to train. Very, very weird." Snow added.

"Big bro. If I also continue taking hits like that, will I get stronger like you?"

"I don’t think so," Leon replied with a helpless smile. "You will definitely grow stronger, yes. But the amount isn’t enough to risk your life for. For me, it’s totally different."

"Is it a special technique? A special breathing technique, maybe?"

"Let’s move." Leon didn’t reply and suggested they continue their move. "Your friend will be waiting. We will have time to discuss such things later on." Leon said before starting to walk

"He’s right. Let’s go. Sis Bella is waiting outside. We don’t have much time." Saying that, Sol started walking behind Leon. Snow followed.

Emily stood where she was. ’He doesn’t trust us? And what’s this poison resistance he keeps thinking about?’ She wondered.

"Sis?" Sol stopped and looked back at Emily. "Coming or not?"

Emily nodded before following behind them.

As Leon and the group continued forward, the space continued to grow. Now, they couldn’t even see the walls or boundaries. Now it looked like a ruined village.

Skulls lay here and there. The stench of blood was thick in the air. The environment was damp. As Leon looked around while walking, an idea popped up in his mind. ’Now I have enough space to use the tenth spell. But with the tenth spell, it will be difficult to kill only the monsters with other affinities. I still need the ones with poison.’ Just as he was thinking...

Hisssss!

Hisssss!

Another wave of monsters came into view. The moment Leon saw them, his face brightened. Not because there were many monsters. But because all were A-Class. He had already reached a certain level of poison resistance where A-Class monsters’ poison wouldn’t affect him anymore. So...

’I don’t need to worry about keeping anyone alive.’ Leon mused inwardly. As the monsters stormed forward, Leon watched them with a calm expression. And then...

"Phoenix breath." He whispered. Fire exploded outward. His whole body started glowing with crimson flame. Blazing fire swirled inside his mouth before morphing into a blazing sphere.

Leon reared his head back. And then...

Whahhhh!

He thrust his head forward. The blazing sphere shot forward like a fiery calamity. The horde of monsters froze for an instant before turning back and starting to run.

But the fiery sphere landed amidst them and exploded.

Booooooooooom!

Whoooooosh!

A strong gust of warm breath swept outward. Fire swallowed each and every monster. They couldn’t even scream, couldn’t try to save themselves even the slightest.

Their presence ceased to exist in just a blink of an eye.

"Damn!" Sol whispered, his eyes widened with awe. Snow and Emily were also looking at Leon with admiration. Snow had only one affinity, and it was fire. Emily had inherited ice and fire from her parents. Both of them knew what this spell was. It was the tenth spell. The ultimate spell every fire mage wanted to cast. But many couldn’t even confirm that it was real. Some would only fantasize about it the same way people do about reincarnation.

But here Leon was. Casting the tenth spell with ease.

Yet for some reason, Leon’s brows were furrowed. He stared at the wasteland ahead. "What went wrong? I chanted the name properly. I used the correct meridians. I used the exact amount of energy. Then why couldn’t I still cast the tenth spell properly?" He whispered.

Just as he was getting frustrated, Lamia’s voice echoed in his mind. "To cast the tenth spell of fire, you need to have an Astral Phoenix first."

"Astral Phoenix?" Leon whispered in shock. "Now what the hell is that?" He asked.

This time, the system panel clarified the issue for him.

[Only someone who has condensed an Astral Phoenix from the Astral River can cast the true phoenix breath.]

"What the hell is this Astral Phoenix? Explain that first."

[Host has already condensed his Astral Avatar. Astral Avatar is the ultimate move of sword art breathing. Similarly, Astral Phoenix is the ultimate requirement to cast the tenth spell. Astral Phoenix is also an Astral Avatar, but unlike the normal Astral Avatar, Astral Phoenix is the manifestation of a powerful phoenix. To unleash the full power of the fire magic with the tenth spell, the Host must condense an Astral Phoenix first.]

"You mean I have to sense the Astral energy again and then condense it into a phoenix this time?"

[Partially affirmative, host. Host can already sense astral energy. Host needs to use the astral energy to condense an Astral Phoenix with any of the remaining two dantians.]

"Remaining two dantians?" Leon repeated in puzzlement.

[Affirmative, host. It’s already been mentioned before that one person can form one Astral Avatar. Astral Avatars are like a manifestation of one’s true talent. And an Astral Avatar requires a dedicated dantian. That’s why people take ages just to decide which ability to perfect. Because once the Astral Avatar is formed, a second true Astral Avatar can’t be formed with the same dantian. But after consuming the blood dantian pill, the host has formed three dantians. The host can use the remaining two dantians to form two more Astral Avatars. But the host must be careful. The host has already awakened ice affinity, fire affinity, gravity affinity, partial poison, and partial lightning. Once one more Dantian is used, the host will only have one more Astral Avatar to choose.]
