Soon the jet arrived at its destination. It wasn’t even two minutes, but it was already there. The jet hovered in the sky instead of landing.

"It will be difficult to get down. You guys go ahead and bring your mother." Jason said to Leon while controlling the jet.

"Sure." Leon nodded.

The jet was hovering just above the hospital where Leon’s mother was. Leon, Emily, Sol, and Snow stood on a circular platform in the jet.

"Ready?" Jason asked.

"Yes, Father," Sol replied.

Jason tapped a button. Instantly, the circular platform shimmered. The surface beneath them slid open as a glow swallowed them all.

Whoooooosh!

A beam of light shot from the jet and descended. The beam landed on the roof of the hospital. As the beam of light vanished slowly, Leon, Emily, Snow, and Sol’s figures emerged from within.

But just before Leon could take even a single step, he was stunned. Six figures stood before him, all looking at him, dumbfounded. Like Leon, the six figures standing on the rooftop were also dumbfounded.

Then Leon’s gaze fell on a particular person. "You! You are still alive?" Leon spoke.

"You know them?" Snow asked.

"Not particularly. But that person is an assassin. Their group had abducted my sister once. But I thought I killed him back then."

Alpha, the stealth magic user who was standing in the group, felt a chill down his spine. Memories flashed before his eyes. Memories of Leon killing Bloodhound guild assassins. But something else made his nerves go wild. Only a few days had passed. Yet Leon felt like a totally new person.

"Is it him?" The young man from the Ghost Blade clan asked.

"Yes," Alpha replied. The moment he said that, the other four from the Bloodhound Guild started emitting killing intent.

Leon shook his head slowly. "People never learn until they don’t have time left to regret." He slowly stepped forward.

"Do you need help?" Emily asked.

Leon waved his hand dismissively. "Wait a little. It won’t take much time." He said. Those words sounded a bit arrogant, but his expression was calm. It was as if he had just stated some facts.

"Hahahhaha." The young man from the Ghost Blade clan burst into laughter. "Look at you. Just because you succeeded in obtaining the Blood Dantian Pill, you think you are unbeatable?" He stared at Leon’s approaching figure with contempt.

"You dare touch members of our Bloodhound guild? Die...." One of the assassins had no patience and already bolted forward.

Whoooooosh!

Appearing before Leon, the assassin threw a punch, air swirling around his fist.

Leon also thrust his fist forward.

But just before the fists could connect, the assassin disappeared.

Leon’s fist cut through the air, sending a shockwave ahead. But it touched nothing.

Just before he could start processing...

Bammm!

Something struck him from the back.

Leon was forced to take a few steps. Though the attack was powerful, in front of Leon, it was nothing. But it didn’t matter if it was powerful or not. From where it came did.

Leon immediately turned back only to find there was no one.

Bamm!

Something struck him again from the side.

Leon was sent skidding to the side. "Another one with stealth magic?" He whispered. But then he noticed something. A small vortex. It was as if something had passed through there just now.

Leon didn’t get much time to think. A shadow stretched across the ground and connected to his body. The moment it did, he froze. He tried to move, but he couldn’t even budge.

’Ugh. These fellows are really troublesome.’ Leon cursed inwardly.

Another assassin moved, brandishing a sword.

Three assassins from the Bloodhound guild started attacking Leon simultaneously. The other two assassins and the young man from the Ghost Blade clan stood where they were, observing the fight. The young man looked like he was assessing Leon’s strength.

The one with the sword appeared before Leon and swung his sword.

But just before the sword could touch him...

Whoooosh!

Clanggg!

Something metallic clashed against the sword and sent it flying. The assassin was also sent flying due to the impact.

Whoooooosh!

Something whistled through the air. The one controlling the shadow sensed something wrong and immediately leapt back.

Boooooooom!

Something struck the ground where the shadow controller was just standing. The surface cratered, and everyone saw a crimson dagger being embedded there.

But it vanished the next moment.

While the shadow user was busy, Leon stood straight and flung his arms to the side. An explosive burst of energy erupted from him. Something was approaching him. The air twisted as it was sent flying. The assassin who had taken the first initiative to attack Leon came into view again.

The assassin stood up and vanished once more.

Leon chuckled. "You think that will work against me?" Leon stood calmly. Suddenly, just when something entered his spirit zone range, Leon’s arm shot out. The next moment, the assassin’s figure reappeared, his throat grabbed by Leon. ℯℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

The assassin tried to speak, but no words came out of his mouth.

"Don’t you dare." Alpha roared. "Or else..."

Before he could finish...

Crack!

The assassin’s neck snapped as his eyes became unfocused. Leon loosened his grip.

Thud!

The assassin’s lifeless body fell to the ground with a dull sound.

"You are courting death." Alpha roared. This time, except for the young man from the Ghost Blade clan, all remaining assassins stormed forward.

Alpha activated his stealth mode and vanished. The shadow user controlled his shadow. The one with the sword dashed toward Leon. The fourth assassin started chanting. Black smoke started curling up from the ground just where Leon was standing.

"Black smoke to obstruct my vision. That sword is laced with curse magic. This shadow is to limit my movement. And finally, the stealth magic user to deliver the final blow. This group is really something. If I have time, I will visit this Bloodhound guild someday. It will be awesome if I can pick some of their affinities." Leon whispered.

And then...

He moved.
