I Can Level Up Infinitely
Chapter 310: Disciple
The shadow user’s attack was the first to reach Leon. But just before the shadow could touch him, under everyone’s gaze, Leon’s feet left the ground. He hadn’t jumped. He was just hovering in the air.
A gasp.
"Big bro can fly, too. Awesome!" Sol said excitedly.
Leon twisted his body slightly. A sword swept past him, almost touching his billowing hair. The next moment, Leon flung his arms in two directions.
Alpha and the other assassin reappeared instantly, their throats trapped in Leon’s grasp.
Leon spun on his heel and flung those two assassins. One slammed into the shadow user. The other into the sword wielder.
Boom!
Boom!
Both pairs slammed into a wall before bouncing back.
Leon wasn’t done. Before those four could even recover, his hand moved. Energy swirled around his palm as icy swords shot out one after another.
Whoooosh!
Whoooosh!
Whooooosh!
The sword wielder tried to block one icy sword with his weapon. But the icy sword knocked the weapon from his hand. Before he could even prepare, another sword pierced through his chest and burst out from the back. Blood splattered on the ground as his lifeless body collapsed.
Alpha and the other assassin who could disappear wanted to vanish, but Leon didn’t even give them an opportunity to do so. Swords whistled through the air and shot toward them. They tried their best but couldn’t dodge all of the swords. One sword went straight through the forehead of an assassin and burst out from the back of his head.
Another sword pierced Alpha’s throat. Regret flashed in his eyes. ’I... I wish I had never come to Delvan.’ His body collapsed onto the ground as his eyes became lifeless.
Only one assassin and the young man from the Ghost Blade clan remained now.
Leon waved his hand once more. "Ice domain." Frost spikes erupted from the ground. The assassin tried to dodge, but his speed wasn’t enough to save him from those spikes. They pierced through his body, bursting out from the other side. His body stood frozen as his eyes became lifeless.
Now only the young man from the Ghost Blade Clan remained. Leon looked at the young man. From the beginning of the fight, the young man hadn’t attacked even once. He had only been observing the fight till now.
Looking at Leon, the young man started clapping. "Well done. Very well done. I wanted to see who was capable enough to obtain the Blood Dantian Pill. And you didn’t disappoint me."
Leon narrowed his eyes. ’Did he go crazy out of fear? Or was he nuts to begin with?’ He wondered.
The young man continued. "Considering your strength, I won’t kill you. Hand over the Frost Monarch’s blade and the Blood Dantian pill. Not only will I let you live, but I will also make you a disciple of the Ghost Blade clan. So... what do you think?"
Leon was stunned. He stared at the young man, wondering if he heard correctly. Even Emily and Snow shared a glance, forgetting their rising rivalry for a moment.
Sol, meanwhile, couldn’t suppress his emotions and burst into laughter. "Where did this brain-dead come from?" He somehow spoke, still laughing as if he had just heard the greatest joke in history.
Leon finally snapped out of his daze and spoke. "You want to let me live? And you will let me become a disciple of your clan? Are you stupid or what? You think you are in a position to offer me opportunities?"
"What?" The young man looked surprised. "You don’t want to become a disciple of our clan? Do you even understand how magnanimous I am being right now, offering you this chance to join our clan? People will die for that opportunity. And do you think just because you killed some of these pesky thugs, you can go against me?"
Leon didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. He had zero idea where this young man got his courage from. Sol’s laughter became even louder.
"I am giving you nothing. What are you going to do about it?" Leon said casually.
The young man glared at Leon. "Did you really think this through? My clan isn’t something you can stand against. What will happen when they come after you? What will happen when they come after the people close to you? Do you think having some strength makes you..." He couldn’t finish.
A palm slammed against his face, pinning his head to the ground with a loud bang.
Crackkkk!
The ground cracked beneath his head, blood pooling up.
"I hate it when people threaten me about my close ones. Your clan will come for me? Let them come then. If they are so desperate to die, I will help them." Leon’s grasp tightened around his face, his finger slowly digging inside.
"Mmmmmm! Mmmmmmm!" The young man tried to speak, but only muffled sounds came. His eyes were wide, unable to believe Leon would do something like this. He knew Leon had killed Sylus Moure. But Sylus Moure was just one person. And the Ghost Blade clan had enough members as strong as Sylus, if not stronger. It was enough to intimidate anyone, any major power. So he failed to understand why Leon wouldn’t consider those facts.
If only he knew... Leon’s strength wasn’t something he was even worthy to witness at its full capacity. And even if Leon wasn’t strong enough, he would never bend down before anyone. Worse... He dared to threaten him with his close ones. His mood was already foul because of Jenny and Noira. The young man’s words did nothing but add fuel to the fire.
Leon’s grip tightened even further.
Crack!
Blood sprayed. Some drops even splattered onto Leon’s face, making his rage look even fiercer.
Dead! All who had come for the sword or the pill. It hadn’t been more than five minutes.
Leon stood up. "Let’s go." He said, and started walking. He didn’t look like someone who had just slaughtered six people. He looked like a son in a hurry to meet his mother.
