I Can Level Up Infinitely

Chapter 183: Both Arms

  • Next Chapter

Looking at Stanley’s worsening condition, Leon’s expression darkened.

But the moment his attention wavered...

Baaam!

A fist slammed squarely into his face.

Leon was sent flying before crashing into the wall of Hunter’s Arsenal. Stone fragments exploded outward as a deep crater formed where his body struck.

Kyle wasn’t done. He slowly raised his hand and began chanting. The earth beneath his feet trembled violently.

Moments later, several rugged stone spheres condensed in the air before shooting toward the crater Leon had just created.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

A series of deafening explosions shook the battlefield. Dust and smoke billowed into the air, completely engulfing the area.

In the distance, the weaponsmiths and the ordinary civilians who had come to watch Arsenal’s Fury could only stand there helplessly. Weaponsmiths rarely possessed any combat ability. That was why Benjamin had been so shocked earlier when Leon displayed such terrifying strength despite being a weaponsmith.

It wasn’t merely surprising. It was unheard of.

At that moment, Sheila’s eyes remained fixed on the cloud of dust where Leon had disappeared.

A trace of worry appeared on her face.

Benjamin noticed it as well while exchanging blows with his opponent, but he had no chance to help.

As for Stanley...

He was too occupied fighting Theo to even realize what had happened.

Amid the chaos, Kyle slowly walked toward the crater, a malicious glint flashing across his eyes.

’This boy... He’s too dangerous. Not only can he forge high-grade weapons, but he can also fight me head-on. Judging by his appearance, he’s only nineteen or twenty. I can’t let him leave this place alive. Otherwise, he’ll become a huge obstacle for Johana in the future.’

As he walked, the earth gauntlet around his right arm morphed into a thick, conical spike with a needle-like tip.

Killing intent flashed in his eyes.

Step by step, he entered the cloud of dust. The smoke still hadn’t dispersed.

"No! He’s going to die!" Sheila suddenly shouted and sprinted toward the cloud of dust, despite not being a knight.

"Sheila! Stop!" Several people reached out to stop her, but she had already rushed ahead.

Kyle paid them no attention and continued walking toward the crater.

But suddenly...

A calm voice echoed from within the dust.

"First Form... Sword Dance."

The next instant...

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Two sharp whistles cut through the air. Kyle felt something icy brush past both of his shoulders. The chill seeped all the way into his bones.

He instinctively tried to move his arms. But...

They didn’t respond.

"What...?" He frowned.

As the dust slowly settled, Kyle sensed someone standing behind him. Yet he couldn’t bring himself to turn around. Because...

Only now did he finally understand what had happened.

Both of his arms...

Had been severed cleanly from his body.

The cuts were so perfect that he hadn’t even felt them at first.

But now...

Finally...

The pain arrived.

"AAAAARGHHHHHH!" His agonized scream echoed across the battlefield.

Everyone finally saw it. And what they witnessed left them utterly speechless.

Sheila froze in place, one hand instinctively covering her open mouth. "He... He defeated a peak S-Class hunter...?" Her mind refused to believe it. Yet the scene before her eyes couldn’t be denied.

Not far away, Manik and Julias exchanged a glance. "He’s a cultivator," Julias whispered.

Manik silently nodded. Neither of them said another word.

Meanwhile, Leon let out a quiet sigh of relief.

’Phew... I didn’t expect him to hand me such a perfect opportunity. What an idiot. He actually walked straight into the smoke... Without the Frost Monarch’s Blade, though... this would’ve been impossible.’ Leon mused.

Kyle had believed Leon was no longer capable of fighting after that last punch. He had been completely confident.

What he didn’t know...

Was that Leon possessed an astonishing self-healing ability.

During those brief moments hidden by the dust and smoke, Leon had already recovered enough to draw the Frost Monarch’s Blade.

The instant Kyle had stepped within range, Leon had struck decisively and swiftly, giving Kyle no scope to retaliate.

Leon turned back, and without giving Kyle any chance to recover, Leon drove a devastating punch straight into his back.

Crack!

The sound of breaking bones echoed. Kyle coughed out a mouthful of blood before collapsing face-first onto the ground, unable to rise again.

Dead!

In the distance...

Theo finally sensed that something was wrong. He turned his head. The moment he saw Kyle lying on the ground with both arms severed...

The veins on his forehead bulged violently.

"You bastard! Dieeeee!" With a furious roar, Theo vanished from his position. Everyone could only see a blur rushing toward Leon at astonishing speed.

Leon tried to react and again summon the Frost Monarch’s blade, but he didn’t get to.

Theo appeared before him and thrust his palm forward, golden light erupting from it.

Booooom!

The glowing palm slammed squarely into Leon’s chest.

Crack! Instantly, a bone-cracking sound could be heard. The fabric over his chest instantly disintegrated into nothingness, revealing a crimson palm imprint seared into his skin.

Leon’s feet left the ground as he was blasted through the air.

Baaam!

He crashed into the first wall, the outer wall of the Hunter’s Arsenal. His body burst through it and slammed into the next.

Baaaam!

Baaaaaam!

One wall after another collapsed as Leon’s body tore straight through them before finally losing its momentum. Blood streamed down the side of his head. His face had turned deathly pale. At last, he crashed into the final wall and slowly slid to the ground.

Agonizing pain surged through every part of his body. It felt as though every bone had been shattered. Even his internal organs had suffered severe damage. Blood dripped from the corner of his lips.

Leon gritted his teeth and tried to stand. But before he could...

Theo appeared before him once again.

"You bastard," Theo growled, his eyes burning with killing intent. "How dare you lay a finger on a member of the Donovan family? I’ll skin you alive." With that, he raised his hand, palm straight like a saber.

But just as he was about to deliver a killing blow, the air swirled behind him as a rift tore through the space. A chilling cold spread instantly.

"How dare you lay a finger on my master?" A female voice echoed.
