I Can Level Up Infinitely
Chapter 180: Help Arrives
Different people wore different expressions as they watched the young man, who wasn’t even twenty years old, streak through the air with both fists clad in a white layer.
Sheila’s eyes sparkled with excitement, though no one could tell what was going through her mind.
"He’s not just a weaponsmith... but a knight as well?" Benjamin whispered in disbelief as he pushed himself out of the crater. "Impossible..."
Elena, on the other hand, couldn’t even find the words to speak. She couldn’t even process what was happening. Goosebumps covered her entire body.
The S-Class knight’s face darkened as he swung his sword at Leon.
Leon moved with astonishing agility, weaving past the blade so effortlessly that it looked less like a battle and more like a graceful dance.
The knight’s expression grew even grimmer when he saw Leon instantly close the distance.
Leon threw a punch.
The knight wanted to dodge, but they were far too close. Every attempt was futile. All he could do was watch the ice-clad fist rush toward him, as if time itself had slowed.
And then...
Baaaaam!
Leon’s fist crashed into the knight’s chest.
"Blarghhh!" A mouthful of blood sprayed into the air as the knight was blasted away like a broken kite.
The remaining three S-Class knights attacked Leon simultaneously. The one with the glowing fists sprang into action first. He spread his fingers, and the mysterious light surrounded his palms. They resembled razor-sharp sabers at the moment.
With a swift motion, he slashed at Leon. Brilliant trails of light followed every strike, as the twin sabers sliced through the air.
Leon continued weaving between the attacks with astonishing precision. Even so, one of the glowing palms managed to graze his clothes.
That single touch was enough.
The section of fabric it brushed against instantly corroded into dust.
Leon’s eyes narrowed.
’What a terrifying ability.’
Before he had time to think any further, the swordsman behind him swung his blade. Fortunately, Leon’s Spirit Zone was already active.
Within a five-meter radius, every movement was crystal clear to him. He could have fought with his eyes closed.
Leon ducked at the very last moment.
Whoosh!
The blade swept past, severing only a few strands of his hair.
In the same instant, Leon pivoted on his left foot and unleashed a devastating sweeping kick.
Thwack!
The S-Class knight lost his footing and began to fall.
But Leon had no intention of stopping there. Planting both palms firmly on the ground, he twisted his body and fired a crushing double kick straight into the knight’s torso.
Booooom!
The knight was blasted through the air like a cannonball.
The glowing palms flashed once more. At the same time, the unarmed S-Class knight threw a punch of his own.
Leon dodged the palm slashes. But he wasn’t fast enough to avoid the punch as well.
Booooom!
The fist crashed into him like an exploding cannonball.
Whoooosh!
Everyone watched as Leon was sent flying through the air before smashing into one of the parked cars.
"Wewooo wewooo." The entire vehicle caved in from the impact. Leon coughed up a mouthful of blood.
But he had no time to recover.
The two S-Class knights were already charging toward him.
Just before they could reach him, Benjamin appeared in front of the knight with the glowing palms and unleashed a powerful kick.
The opponent was forced to halt abruptly and crossed both arms in front of his chest.
Baaaam!
The collision sent both Benjamin and the knight sliding backward several meters.
Meanwhile, the unarmed S-Class knight closed in on Leon and threw another punch.
Leon chuckled.
Instead of dodging, he clenched his fist and punched back. He genuinely wanted to experience the full strength of an S-Class knight.
Booooom!
The instant their fists collided, a visible shockwave erupted from the point of impact, sweeping across the battlefield.
Theo’s face turned exceptionally gloomy. The expressions of Mr. Donovan and Marcus weren’t any better.
Theo glanced at the remaining eight S-Class knights standing behind him.
He waved his hand.
The eight S-Class knights had been watching everything unfold with stunned expressions, their mouths hanging open in disbelief. But the moment they received the command...
They surged forward without the slightest hesitation.
Leon’s expression stiffened. ’Twelve S-Class hunters... That’s too much. I’m only holding on because of my speed. If all of them attack at once, I won’t even last a minute,’ Leon cursed inwardly.
Benjamin’s expression also turned grave.
Just as the remaining eight S-Class knights were about to reach Leon and Benjamin...
Swoosh!
Several white whips of light lashed through the air from the distance.
Two of them struck a pair of S-Class knights head-on, instantly sending them hurtling backward.
Another whip slammed into the road in front of two more, forcing them to stop abruptly.
The remaining four also came to a halt as they sensed a baleful aura descending upon the battlefield.
The fierce battle came to an abrupt standstill.
A heartbeat later, a figure landed between Mr. Donovan’s group and Leon’s side. His icy gaze swept over Mr. Donovan and Marcus.
"You’ve got some nerve throwing your weight around in my country." His voice was cold enough to freeze the air. "Do you have a death wish?"
"Bold words, Stanley." Another voice interrupted almost immediately.
It belonged to none other than Kyle Donovan, the middle-aged man who had accompanied Theo and Marcus.
And the man who had just arrived was none other than Stanley Cooper, the former President of the Hunter Association and the strongest S-Class hunter in all of Delvan.
"Bold words?" Stanley narrowed his eyes. "You infiltrate my country, attempt to abduct one of its citizens, and then have the audacity to call my words bold?" A terrifying aura erupted from his body as he took a step forward. "What the hell do you take Delvan for?"
Kyle stepped forward as well, his expression remaining calm. "Don’t act so smug just because you’re on your own turf." His voice was cold and unwavering. "I’m merely here to honor a contract. What does that have to do with you?"
He pointed at Elena. "That girl entered into an agreement with us. She failed to fulfill her end of the deal." His eyes turned icy. "So we’re simply here to collect what we’re owed."
Kyle and Stanley now stood face-to-face.
The atmosphere grew unbearably heavy as two of the strongest S-Class hunters confronted one another.
A far greater battle was on the verge of erupting.
