I Can Level Up Infinitely
Chapter 179: Icy Mist
Three cars were parked behind a luxurious black limousine.
Beside each of the three cars stood four people.
Twelve in total.
The moment the S-Class hunter stepped outside, he felt an overwhelming pressure descend upon him.
’All S-Class...’ His expression darkened. ’Damn it.’
The crowd inside soon followed, eager to see how the S-Class hunter would deal with the arrogant young man.
But the instant they stepped outside...
They froze as well.
Twelve S-Class hunters. That single sight was enough to send chills down their spines.
The entire nation of Delvan didn’t even have that many S-Class hunters.
Yet these people had casually brought twelve of them. Just to collect a few weapons? Or... was there another purpose behind all this?
Countless questions filled everyone’s minds, yet not a single person dared to move.
None of them understood what was happening, but one thing was painfully clear.
If a fight broke out...
They would be the weaker side.
A few moments later, the middle-aged man and Marcus walked out of the building. Marcus stopped a few meters in front of the S-Class hunter.
"You’re Benjamin Wales, the Guild Master of the Mad Lions, right?" His voice was calm, yet laced with undisguised contempt. "You should understand the situation you’re in."
His gaze turned cold. "Your duty is to clear dungeons, not meddle in other people’s affairs. So unless you wanna suffer, don’t interfere."
Benjamin’s expression darkened. He was the Guild Master of the Mad Lions, an S-Class hunter respected throughout Delvan. Yet now, he was being threatened so openly.
And the worst part...
He couldn’t do anything about it. He knew he was no match for all of them alone. Helplessly, his gaze shifted toward Elena, whom Marcus had also dragged outside.
A contemptuous grin spread across Marcus’s face when he noticed the look in Benjamin’s eyes.
Without another word, he turned and began walking toward the limousine.
Just then, the young man slowly climbed to his feet, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. He glared at Benjamin with eyes filled with murderous intent, as though he wanted to tear him apart.
The middle-aged man beside Marcus immediately noticed the killing intent radiating from him. "That’s enough, Theo," he said calmly. "Let’s finish what we came here for first."
Theo’s expression remained icy. "You go ahead, Uncle." He wiped the blood from his lips. "That bastard dared to lay a hand on me. I’m going to teach him his place."
As he spoke, Theo raised his arm and casually waved his hand forward before extending four fingers.
At once, four of the twelve S-Class hunters stationed beside the vehicles stepped forward. They understood exactly what their young master wanted.
The four S-Class hunters charged forward without hesitation. Two brandished their swords. One’s fists glowed with mysterious light. The last advanced empty-handed, seemingly confident he needed no weapon at all.
Benjamin’s expression turned grim.
His eyes sharpened as he slashed his hand through the air as though it were a blade.
Whoosh!
A crescent-shaped arc of compressed air shot toward them.
One of the sword-wielders swung his sword to meet it.
Clang!
The air blade shattered on impact, but the tremendous force behind it sent the swordsman flying backward. He crashed into the S-Class hunter with the glowing fists, and both were hurled away together.
The second swordsman had already closed the distance.
Whoosh!
His sword sliced through the air with a sharp, piercing whistle.
Just before the blade could reach him, wind gathered beneath Benjamin’s feet.
His body shot upward, narrowly avoiding the attack.
Still suspended in midair, he twisted his waist and unleashed a powerful kick.
Boom!
The swordsman was blasted backward.
But before Benjamin could turn his attention to the last opponent...
A palm struck him squarely in the chest.
Booooom!
The impact exploded like a cannon blast.
Benjamin’s body was hurled across the street before crashing into the wall of Hunter’s Arsenal.
Rumble!
The wall caved in as dust and rubble rained down, leaving behind a massive crater.
The three S-Class hunters Benjamin had knocked away had already recovered and regrouped.
One of the swordsmen immediately surged forward, his sword aimed straight at Benjamin’s heart, intending to finish him with a single devastating strike.
Ten meters.
Five meters.
The swordsman closed the distance in an instant. He drew his arm back, the tip of his sword glinting beneath the sunlight. He thrust it with everything he had.
But, just as the blade was about to pierce Benjamin...
A figure suddenly appeared beside them.
One fist was tightly clenched. A layer of ice enveloped it, wisps of frosty mist curling into the air.
The entire exchange happened in the blink of an eye.
Yet everyone present saw it clearly.
The ice-clad fist shot forward like a streak of white light and slammed into the S-Class swordsman’s flank.
The punch landed first... Then continued driving forward. The knight’s body bent into a bow under the overwhelming force.
The next instant...
Whoooosh!
He was sent hurtling through the air at terrifying speed.
Theo’s expression darkened. His fist clenched in anger.
The crowd gasped in shock. "Wait! Isn’t he a....."
The figure slowly turned his gaze toward Marcus, who was still gripping Elena’s wrist.
Those icy eyes were so cold that Marcus instinctively took a step back and released her without realizing it.
Leon then shifted his gaze to the three remaining S-Class knights.
A layer of ice now coated his left fist as well, frigid mist drifting from both hands.
The person who had appeared...
Was none other than Leon. ’Ice layer. With its 50% damage boost, I really want to see what S-Class knights truly measure up to.’ He mused inwardly.
Leon’s damage was already 197. And with the fourth ice spell’s damage boost, his battle prowess was no less than that of an S-Class knight.
Under everyone’s stunned gaze, he made the first move this time.
He leaned forward slightly.
Crack!
The ground beneath the toes of his right foot shattered.
Then...
Whoooosh!
Leon vanished from where he stood, leaving behind nothing but a blur of icy mist.
